Chicken Tikka Masala- Spicy
Jessica R.

This restaurant is the best Indian food I have had in a very long time. The staff is so friendly and thoughtful, we brought our 8 month old baby in and our server was so kind and patient even when we came in 45 minutes before they closed! Safe to say we will be back and Thank you so much!

Ghee Dosa, Samosa, Mint chutney Green and Sambar

I ordered Ghee dosa, samosa and vada. Samosa and vada came in 3 pieces each.. Ghee dosa was excellent. Vada was good. Samosa was served hot. Tomato chutney was spicy and good. There is no coconut chutney. Instead peanut chutney was in the menu. Sambar is little watery.

Chicken Tikka Masala, Plain Rice and Garlic Naan

I tried this place bc my normal Indian place couldn't deliver. I ordered rice, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Chicken Masala arrived kinda of warm (but that of course could've been due to other deliveries) you could really taste the Indian curry in it and it had a sweetness to it. It wasn't too bad, just not what I'm use to. I like the spicy taste and not as much curry. Rice was just that rice, fluffy and cooked well. Not over done. Not bad at all mixed well with the tikka masala. The garlic naan I'm so sad about it was thin and kind of hard. Like it was old or whoever cooked it just didn't know how. Idk if I'll try this place again. Maybe if I'm craving Indian again and my place isn't delivering. I don't like the after taste it left in my mouth.

Stopped by Indian Chilli with a colleague while in town for work and I'm so glad that we did! We got there late for lunch and the staff was more than happy to have us come in and get comfortable even though it was close to their afternoon closing time. The food was plentiful and the flavors were incredible!! If I didn't have a flight out the next day I would happily have boxed up every crumb to take into the office for lunch the next day. Special thank you to the staff for letting us intrude on your afternoon break time and letting us experience the amazing food without feeling rushed. I will most definitely stop back in during the next work trip! Apologies to the Yelpers, we were so hungry and the food was so good well, y'all get half devoured plates to view.

Onion and spinach pakora

Food was good and portions were satisfying. The chicken tikka masala seemed to taste more like butter chicken in my opinion. Although we requested the same spice level for each dish, the Palak Paneer came out too spicy my toddler could not eat it. Service was a bit spotty and slow as we asked to have water refilled a number of times and was missing rice from our table. The pakora was really good and prices seemed fair. I'd visit again.

Hands down, the most delicious tikka masala ever. Lamb vindaloo never disappoints. Naan is crispy and soft. Our go to for a curry fix!

I had the veggie samosa and masala! It was so delicious, and the service was great. It's on my yelp list for places I to come back to.

If you're looking for a good North India food, this is the place. Smokey Baingan is the best Ive had in a restaurant that's not in India.

I tried the meat sweats, and it was a great trio of chicken (two ways) and lamb. To me it was also the easiest to understand as this place gets into different ideas such as making burritos out of traditional Indian plates I did not try a mixed style, nor did my two friends that were with me. For the adventurous, I am sure there is something that is worth trying, but for those who just like a nice plate of Indian food, this also did fine Like any other place, you can scale up or scale down the heat, and I asked for medium level, which was fine.... And then some spices on the side in case I wanted to rev it up on any particular bite. I'd say the food comes out within 10 minutes or so and I felt was good. At a $19 price tag I would say it's not a bad value since you get more than enough to take as leftovers so possibly two meals for one. Punjabi chicken and cauliflower was solid also...though at $13 a little high for appetizer. Overall, I didn't feel adventurous this particular day. However, if you do like mixing food styles and ideas, then this would definitely be a place to try it.

My "quick search" for local Indian food spat out Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar as the top choice. Thirty minutes and 14 miles of Highland Village pavement later, I checked Google Maps only to find there was an Indian spot one mile from my location. At that point, I wasn't just hungry; I was "Yelp-betrayed" hungry. Walking into Delhi6 is a bit of a trip. I expected a standard restaurant; I got a lounge that felt like I should have traded my sneakers for a velvet blazer. It was dim, moody, and featured tabletop lamps that made me feel like I was about to negotiate a high-stakes merger--or at least a very serious order of Garlic Naan. I was greeted by Rohi, a man so well-dressed he made the rest of the room look under-rendered. He introduced himself as the acting manager and dropped a line so bold I almost choked on my own anticipation: "This is the best Indian restaurant in all of Texas." Sir, those are "fightin' words" in a state that takes its spices as seriously as its brisket. My expectations didn't just rise; they hit the ceiling. To see if Rohi was a prophet or just a very stylish salesman, I applied my standard Indian Food Litmus Test. No fancy bells and whistles--just the classics. Their menu, by the way, is a literal tome. It's as thick as the Cheesecake Factory menu, but thankfully with fewer pictures of Glazed Salmon and more promises of cumin-induced euphoria. The Tandoori Chicken was smokey, tender, redder than a fire engine. It had that perfect "kissed by the flames" char and a deep, smoky soul. The Chicken Tikka Masala balanced creaminess and spice. It was sweet, savory, and vibrating with bright spices. The chicken was so tender it practically dissolved on impact. The Paratha was dry and a bit tough--the one "C" on an otherwise straight-A report card. Despite the paratha being more "cardboard" than "cloud-like," the rest of the meal was a revelation. I found myself nodding along to Rohi's bold claims with every bite of that Tikka Masala. The flavors weren't just good; they were "I'm glad I drove 14 miles for this" good. It's right up there with the heavy hitters like Taj Mahal and Café Maharani. If I ever find myself in Highland Village again--or if Yelp decides to trick me into a cross-state road trip--I'm stopping back at Delhi6. Thank you, Yelp, for being terrible at math but excellent at finding me a five-star "mistake."

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.
