I LOVE indian food, so I was really hoping to like this restaurant. We had chicken korma, butter chicken and lamb kishmiri The major fault I found was the food was WAY OVER SALTED !!! Salt is all I tasted. Also the amount of meat in each dish was on the low side. Mostly sauce. Was very disappointed!!! The kema nann was over stuffed to the point it was less bread and more meat which was not tasty. More is not better here. The mimosa's were good. That's about all I can say that positive. We ordered one lamb curry and one goat curry on Sunday (2/11/2018). All it had was a lot of cream and gravy with a few pieces of meat (may be 3-4 real tiny pieces). You had to dig deep to find a piece of meat. Very disappointed. I felt like I got heavy cream with some Indian spices for $13. Was not satisfied with the quality of the food. We ordered bhindi masaledar and daal makhni. The bhindi was stale and was not cooked with a proper method of preparing the masala first, it was more of a stirfry of sorts. The daal was ok, not amazing, we ate it with naan, maybe would have tasted better with rice. The quality of the naans was not up to par, they seemed to have been bought from a third party and reheated and served, i don't know if that's the reality but it tasted and looked that way. read more

Went there for lunch. Ordered onion pakora, chai and the lunch menu of paneer, dal bukhara and naan. Dal Bukhara was the best I have ever had, better than India. Paneer was good too. I think my boyfriend and I have become regulars here! He really loves Indian food and I was not really into it but willing to keep trying different kinds. This place is amazing! The owners son was working before going off to college and explained many of the menu items we weren't familiar with. He had such a passion for their food and a sincere respect for his parents who just opened the restaurant. We loved everything then and everything tonight. Try the okra dish - Binhdhi Masala. Yummmmmmy! I felt like I needed to be rolled out of there. Seriously. Even my kids enjoyed and it and they have the typical American kid hang ups. The butter chicken was delightful and the lentil dish I got was superb. The naan was warm, buttery, and had just the right amount of chew. Food is great. My usual orders are chicken dansak, chicken shahi korma, and chicken tikka masala. All very good. The naan basket is good too; like the variety.
