It is giving Parisian bistro, minus the snobby waiters. My waitress, Megan, was wonderful. She was so attentive and made the perfect recommendations. When I saw a spicy blood orange margarita on the menu, I set the menu down because I knew that's exactly what I was going to be drinking that night. That's a perfect drink in my opinion. I love a margarita. I love a spicy margarita even more. And to top it off, a super citrusy flavored margarita hits the trifecta. The presentation was lovely, and the flavors were even better. My only complaint with it is that I drank it too fast. I started with the Idaho smoked trout. I love a smoked trout, so when I saw smoked trout on the menu, I assumed it would be a smoked trout dip, which is the only way I've ever had smoked trout. Unfortunately, it was not a dip. Rather a plate. It was still good, but it was my least favorite dish of the evening. In addition to the trout, the plate came with Durst Farm asparagus, leeks, gribiche, and trout roe. The main reason I didn't love this dish was because it had a hard boiled eggs in it. This is 100% my fault because I didn't know what grit is in. Apparently it is a cold egg sauce, so I take responsibility for that one. Next up with the Caesar. This was a great Caesar. Super crispy lettuce. Good amount of cheese on it.
