Love Harbor freight and their friendly staff! Super helpful and can't beat the tools for the price and warranties they offer!

Ok, so admittedly I have never been to Harbor freight to purchase anything before. I needed a shot gun looking holder down thinga -ma -jig for a project. I was told that Harbor Freight is the perfect place for that as they are much less expensive than Home Depot. I was told the quality isn't as good.. but, for a one & done project.. who cares if it doesn't last longer than that. Right? Im not a handy man. Even tho I do think I would make a good husband:) I was told the same tool at the Depot would be about $30. I Paid $8.99!! I haven't used it yet.. but it looks like it will hold my closet door in place after gluing panels to dry. now, the absolute best part is not just running into an acquaintance when I walked in.. but, the awesome service I received from DeMondrick the manager. Talk about top notch. He was being pulled all over the place but took the time to calmly help me. took me straight to the part after my wonky description...and even took it out of package just to make sure it would extend the 20 inches that I needed. I was so impressed with how he spoke to me (not making me feel stupid) and was truly a gentleman. And smiled while helping me. He definitely won a customer over yesterday for the company. this will be my first stop now for anything tool related. I wish they had cacti & flowers too. read more

Wow! I love the helpful staff and the guy that stands in the center of the lobby as you walk in. He's always helpful and power walks to show you where an item is or If the cashiers need something , he will jog to go get it. Came in to exchange my Bauer polisher due to malfunction, and they helped me with exchange and was seamless. Just like their neighbor, Home Depot, which both is my go to shops. If I'm in this area, I prefer Harbor Frieght. As you know, I'm in Ceres and with the new Harbor Frieght in town will be so nice. I've came here plenty of times and always had good experiences . Yes long lines and sometimes only 2 cashiers but those cashiers are pretty fast and on it. They help with coupons and let you know which items are on sale so that's good. Sometimes I arrive without having the coupons ready and they assist me with them right away Keep up the good work read more

I stopped by today and it was extremely busy because of a big sale. I needed a portable garage and a miter saw, two big items that are too large for this old man to lug through the store. I asked an associate if he could help me with loading the purchases. He told me to just go through the checkout line and he would have them at the front door for me. Sure enough, he was waiting for me, loaded them up by himself and with a smile on his face. It turns out, he was Josh, the store manager, and even though he was up to his armpits in alligators, he was still able to provide exceptional customer service. read more

i guess its time I really update this review. I go to this location almost exclusively because I don't have to worry about vagrant people bothering me. It is safe, clean and has nice people working there. Typically I don't have a problem with finding any sale item and the staff is happy to go in back to replenish stock. Not only is the staff friendly, most of the staff possess good product knowledge. Parking is safe here and plentiful; you don't have to worry about getting your car damage by swinging doors. Because this place does not have vagrants, you can typically save money just by shopping here versus Walmart or some other slumbag shopping center. read more

Don't shop here their return policy is very crappie. 2 times in a row my husband bought a set of security cameras for our home the first time he got home open the box there was one camera no cords or nothing it had the bubble wrap and that's it so he returned it and got a full refund about a week later he purchased the same cameras this time it was just the monitor in the box there was missing two cameras so I take it back to the store and Josh the store manager tells me that basically he's not going to return it and that's just how it is we're out of the $67.99 that it cost. I was then told to have a nice day. Maybe they should take a little more time and their training or scream their employees a little more because obviously there's some you know employee stuff going on because he's telling me that they come straight from the back and that there is no way so basically telling me that I'm lying straight to his face or since they come from the back his employees are taking them. I am not sure about what's going on I just know that this is the second time we've got cameras and there's no freaking cameras in the box and he's telling me that I'm out of my money so to me that is not good customer service and this place can go to hell as well as Josh. read more

Some really good deals to be had here. Not the highest quality, however this is a great place to get affordable tools you will only occasionally use. Very wide selection. Only real drawback it that staff always seems really busy and are not all that helpful. However for the prices I am willing to out up with that. read more

This is the go to spot for my husband when he is doing a project at home, he does not have a Yelp account so I'm giving the review for him. Been coming here for the last 3 - 4 years. There are certain specialty tools you would need to do a job right. These specific tools are almost always not affordable for a one to two time use, except if your purchasing it here at Harbor Freight Tools. You get your job done with the right tools for a great price. All the other things like work gloves and goggles are really affordable too. False advertisement!!!!!!! Worst customer service EVER!!! The manager is very rude and tried to make you feel dumb! As I was shopping, I had a spending limit on how much I could spend at the store yesterday. I had my cart filled with everything I was purchasing and then I came across an electric pressure washer which had a price tag at $27.99. I thought it was a great deal so I put it in my cart, and put a few other things away so I didn't go past my spending limit. I went to check out and it rang up as $99.99 and I told the lady it had a price tag for $27.99. I went back to where I picked it up at and the price was correct, $27.99 which had 12 more pressure washers in he same spot advertised at that price. I can back and told her it was listed at $27.99 and the manager came to me and said, this item is $99.99 and I will not get it for $27.99. He said the price was a mistake and he will take it down. I told him but it's listed for $27.99 and I want it for that price and he starts yelling at me saying "do you not understand that the item WILL NOT LEAVE MY BUILDING FOR LESS THAN $99.99" and walked away. I called corporate and they said they sent an email for the DM to give me a call. They said they will add my email to the conversation which they never did. Still waiting for the DM to call me. I am not a happy customer. I might have to share with my 16k Instagram followers so they don't step foot into a place that's managed by a rude, disrespectful and unprofessional manager. HFT, I am *DONE* with you! First you offer discounts and play a "mother may I" about redemption. (Heaven help you if you leave the coupon at home. And don't try to use 2 freebies in one trip. Yeah yeah... OK, got it.) And then don't stock for the sale so folks need rain checks and a return trip. So now I try to buy a level. Is it 9.99 or the posted sale price of 7.99? OK, we have had enough with the come ons: coupons and a special money saving card. I can't tell you how much my husband has bought Chinese junk tools that work once and that's it. Now we bought a Badlands Winch 3 years ago, it worked then...he put it away in a shed and never used it til today and the solinoid is gone. almost $300 down the drain...we will only go to Home Depot or the other stores. We always had good clerks at the register but the regular tools are garbage. If you need a hammer or flashlight, it is OK. Otherwise go to another hardware store and pay more and get a reliable tool or auto part!!! read more

HFT blew my mind! I bought some shrink wrap, but was then told it wasn't for wrapping presents! The service here was fantastic! The gentleman who helped me made sure I got exactly what I was looking for and answered every question I had; and I had a lot! Totally a DIY dream toy store! It's got stuff to fix stuff that I didn't even know existed! Who knew a Cherry Picker was for pulling vehicle engines? Who knew there are a hundreds of things that cut, saw, scribe, chisel, etc. With laser accuracy! Even got some new fog lamps here! And the prices made me giddy as a school girl! They are extremely reasonable and quite fair! Knocking it one star tho cos the parking lot was a bit creepy and could stand to have a Security Guard. And some big lights! Overall though, I was extremely pleased with my shopping experience here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! read more

Buyer beware. Not because of the merchandise quality, mainly due to their horrible customer service. Tried to buy a tool from the local store but they were out of stock. I instead placed the order online. After the order was placed, the message displayed it would take them up to 2 weeks to ship the item that was in stock. This was not acceptable as I needed the item in a week. I tried calling to cancel, but was unable to get a human. I instead received a message that said "the customer service department was now closed", even though it was clearly during normal business hours. I ended up buying the item I needed from another store that met my delivery needs. I made several attempts to call and cancel and even sent an email or 2 (or 3). I did not get a response. I finally received notification that the item I no longer needed had shipped. On that same day, I received a response to my cancellation email, indicating they could not cancel the order as it had already shipped (what a surprise). The email did state I could refuse the shipment which I did. I also filed a claim through my bank as I was not confident a credit was coming anytime soon. Harbor Freight denied the claim, stating the item had shipped, was delivered and completed. They provided a copy of the proof of delivery which clearly showed the item was returned to Harbor Freight. Unfortunately, my bank did not catch this and denied my claim. I am now out of $137.00. I tried calling Harbor Freight and after being on hold for about 30 minutes, spoke with a rude customer service woman who basically said that due to my attempt to get my money back from my bank, they denied my claim. Almost as if to say F___ Y__! When I tried to explain how this made no sense and asked to speak with a manager, she hung up the phone on me. The worst company I have ever dealt with. NEVER buy anything from this company. To this day, I have no commitment from Harbor Freight that they intend to return my $137.00. read more

Their tools never cease to disappoint. Bout a 80 something piece tool chest for around the house and the Screw Driver bent on a copper screw! Took it back and they gave me store credit.. picked up a 100 psi air compressor that didnt ever work well enough to blow out my small garage. While we were working on some breaks my buddies harbor freight c clamp snapped in half on second use. Ill still buy wire nuts and moving blankets there but be careful cause its real easy to throw away money here when your trying to save some. read more

I went into the store looking for a specific product and asked an employee named "Julian" if they still carried the product. Apparently I interrupted his personal conversation with someone who was clearly his friend and the told me that he does not like to be interrupted when he's talking. He was being very rude and idiotic. I ended up talking to his manager about the situation and she was very helpful. All it takes is one "bad apple" to spoil everything. I had a poor customer service experience with this store and company. I received an unwanted email from Harbor Freight. The email was asking me to review my purchase, but I did not purchase anything. At first, I thought it was a simple mistake, but the items listed in the email were the exact items purchased by someone else in my household. I NEVER PROVIDED MY EMAIL TO HARBOR FREIGHT and the person in my household who shopped there (using cash) does not have an email and does not even know my email! I tried getting answers from the store manager, but the best I got was "someone must have guessed right." The manager WAS friendly and was able to look up the account used to make the purchase, but said no email was associated with the account. I tried three times to get an answer on how this could have happened using the online customer service, and was repeatedly disappointed that my specific issue was not addressed--they said it must have been a system error and that I can unsubscribe. This was no coincidence. I don't know how or why this happened, but I no longer trust this company, and AFTER READING THEIR PRIVACY POLICY, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING CREDIT CARDS THERE OR GIVING THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION read more
