One employee named Michelle has been especially kind & knowledgeable. She has gone above & beyond many times when I need help . She is the epitome of what it takes to be successful as a Petsmart employee. She is able to keep calm when there are 10 different issues going on around her. I witnessed this today - there was a customer requesting to speak to the groomer , others waiting in line, people wanting toake appts., incoming phone calls, people asking about the cat adoptions, etc., & Michelle stayed on task as the cashier. She was friendly, genuine & professional. I always look for her when I go in because she is the Best!

However, my cat has seemingly become bored with this favorite canned foods and I needed to buy a lot of variety to see what he'll enjoy so he can stay healthy. There were many options for brands, textures, price points/quality. Annoying they had a low shelf at the register with a water tray for plants with only a couple of plants in it. So not only could a dog drink that yucky water or a kid could play with it, if the owner/guardian isn't paying attention, but things can fall in it as mine did. A customer's dog had diarrhea right outside the door - in the center of the double doors - and the employee thought it was cleaned up but it was not. Pretty rough experience for sensitive and observant me. It doesn't help that Roseville Pet Club closed and I've never been the biggest fan of the Rancho store - not the right vibes and traffic getting there is miserable - but at least there isn't loud music and it's more spacious.

The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable here. They never hesitate to check stock for me on certain items or help me find what I am looking for. It's definitely a better service experience here than at a PetsMart. I also like how I can order food to be delivered free to my various dog fosters that help support the golden retriever rescue organization I volunteer with. That saves me time and I appreciate it. Bonus: Need discount dog/cat vaccinations? Every Saturday afternoon there's a mobile vet clinic that offers low cost services here. Pro tip: Buy the bundle of 3 pet washes and get one free, making it only $15/wash which includes the shampoo and frequently free samples of dog treats and extra coupons. No, it doesn't take 10 minutes for the water to heat up. Yes, the blow dry is cool air. They even helped my poor mom to her car (with her dog) when she came in herself but couldn't handle her dog (or find her car...yikes). They were sweet and helped her out and I am EXTREMELY grateful.
