I won't go anywhere else for my pets' needs. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. We love stopping in just to visit, in fact, our little visits ended up with me buying a parrot that I had been visiting for quite a while. When I found out the bird had a special fondness for me no amount of money could stop me and I brought home my brand new Pionus today. Brian was extremely informative, and has so much knowledge about the breed, I am glad to have met him, and I appreciate all the info he gives me. What's best is that this place is in a great location, in the same plaza as a great dry cleaners/seamstress, Round Table, & grocery store. I went in today and spent $65 they would not accept a 100 bill. They said unless I have an account they will not take it. After I swiped my card she pointed to a sign that said a manager will have to check all bills. It said nothing of not accepting large bills. The staff was amazing. I called to ask about the dog wash station and they answered all my questions and made sure I was aware of the times available. When I got there they made sure I had what I needed and the station was immaculately clean. They had a large range of dog shampoos and conditioners. These included an all in one, a set for sensitive skin and shampoos and conditioners in various scents. They provided towels, a scrub brush and a caddy to hold my supplies. The blower/dryer worked great. The wash station has various tie points so I could safely secure my dogs based upon which area was best for each pup. There was a temperate controlled hose and head which allowed me to choose the temperature I needed and which setting on the nozzle worked best. Amazing place and people! read more

This is our main go to pet store. Our shibas have been coming here w/us since they were just puppies. Brian is always happy to see us and the whole staff is always helpful. Their food and treat selection is wide and varied, especially the grain free treats. My furbabies know they're about to get spoiled when we pull up here. read more

I love coming in here to shop for my dog. She eats Merrick dog food so we buy her food here, as well as her treats and shampoo and everything else you can imagine. It's a lot closer, but I usually end up going to the Serpentarium since they have a larger food selection for my pets. I like that this place sells the food i like to buy for my kids...i mean Cats haha. Chicken soup for the soul. Its good stuff...only problem is that i went there tonight and they were out until tomorrow. I hate that but its worth waiting for. I buy my main things here but other stuff like card board scratchers and litter scoopers and treats are going to be a little more expensive than if you bought them at a major food store like petco. I love the helpful, knowledgeable staff at Incredible Pets. They are always willing to take the time to help. There is always someone around to haul the bags of dog food to the car without even asking. Other great things about this store: they are happy to let you pet the bunnies, even if they know you aren't going to buy one, free puppy pack for new puppy owners, awesome deals in the clearance bins, loyalty program earns you cash off your purchase. (Yes, it takes a while to earn and it's only $5 at a time, but still worth signing up for), they sell the high quality food that the big box stores don't carry. Yes, the prices are a little higher at Incredible Pets, and so I do admit I don't buy everything for our pets at this store. But keep in mind, they do have 20% off sales a couple of times a year. It took us forever to find a wet food that our dog loves and doesn't mess with his stomach. Recently, it's been unavailable in stores or has really jumped in price. We switched to another wet food that we thought would be similar, but our dog had really bad diarrhea and eventually refused to eat. We went to this location in hopes of finding some other kind of food for him (we usually try wet food cause he's had some teeth pulled and is happier with soft foods). But we were open to either. Jacob helped find what we were looking for, looked up ingredients we knew worked best with our pup, and suggested easy digestion kibble. He suggested letting it soak in warm water to soften it. Our dog is still a little resistant to dry food but he's slowly getting used to it! After over a week of digestion problems, he is finally back to his old self!! Thanks Jacob for the help! We bought our Chinchilla from this location years ago and have always tried to patronize local businesses. However, I'm bummed to see them carrying less of the things I need to take care of him. Today, there appeared to be one employee on the floor chatting with another customer and no Kaytee Chinchilla food on the shelf. The Carmichael store has a great selection in food, toys, litter, and bedding for all of my animals. There's a couple of women workers there that give excellent customer service and they were very knowledgeable in answering my questions about nutrition values, and very prompt in trying to find me the best item of my choice. They also have the Honest Kitchen items stocked, which is a major plus because I prepare all of my animals food from scratch. But the last time I went to this store and was speaking to one of these female workers, I noticed that an older gentleman worker of the store was glaring at the pair of us. I found out through the worker that the man's name was Bryan, and he was the store's manager. At first, I was really put off by his menacing look that I tried my best to avoid him but on a day that I came in and my two girl go-to workers weren't working, I decided that he must have been having a really bad day on my first impression, and decided to go up to him and ask him a question about a new dog food I was considering. For the second time, I was put off. He was curt, his tone was disrespectful and annoyed, and he didn't even bother to try and give me the help that I wanted. I left, without making any kind of purchase from him because he was just that upsetting. I now try to shop only on Sundays/Mondays, when he's off from work. As you can see from an earlier review from Hope, this man is just extremely rude. I really think he needs to keep his attitude out of the workplace. read more

I have good and bad on this store. For the most part I recommend this store to anyone in the area. Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. I have 2 dogs,2 cats, 2 lizards,hermit crabs, and fish. I buy almost all my supplies from this store mainly at first because of convenience, it being closer to me than other stores. I soon discovered the people there really do care about animals and their customers animals. I am torn though because one of the employees is very cold and rude. So don't be too put off by the older male employee who seems to have no positive personality what so ever, the rest of the staff are helpful and kind. example: i bought some very expensive dog food in hopes it would not give my dog an allergic reaction. Of course you cant tell these things until you slowly transfer them off the current food and are fully eating the new food. I buy the largest bag of food possible to do this. I used up most of the bag but only found that my dog did get a reaction from it. This was food on recommendation of the staff, they said i could return the unused food for a full refund. so i did. the older man of course gave me major attitude and looked at me like i was trying to scam them. No sir, just doing what your staff told me i could do. Well he made me feel like real crap so I didnt want to shop there anymore but i had a store credit now for 40 dollars (not the full refund i was promised) so i had to buy something. Another staff member saw my frustration and that i just wanted to find a good food for my dog, and she came out from the back with about 15 small sample bags of some very expensive dog food for me to try out. It was perfect. We found a good food for my dog and she totally made up for the rudeness of the other employee. read more

I've always liked the friendly, helpful service here. I was thrilled when they added the dog wash - a big help for those of us with big dogs! But, I was very disjointed today when i purchased my wash card and they didn't tell me when i paid (I found out the hard way, when my collie was dripping wet! ) that they no longer provide the brushes necessary to finish grooming your wet pet. Apparently, too many customers have walked off with them, so they can't provide that service now. I understand this, but it is a huge inconvenience to have a wet, long haired dog and no brushes or combs! Shame on the customers who have made it harder on the rest of us! It would be nice though if incredible pets would at least give us the option to check out grooming tools when we pay and when we turn them back in, we'd get a deposit back. That wouldn't be too hard, would it?? read more

Love, love, love this place!! It is a small pet shop that is jam packed with everything you need. I really like that it's a smaller store. Petsmart is good too, but I feel you get a more personable experience here than you do in some of the larger stores. They have a wide variety of pet supplies, from fish to dogs, birds and lizards. The staff is awesome. Always friendly and there to help. They also have my dogs favorite food here at a better price than I have found elsewhere. read more

I love the Incredible Pets in Carmichael! I have been shopping there since it opened and have continued to shop there-even when I moved out of the area. The staff there has always been knowledgeable and friendly. I love the way that the manager, Brian, knows my name and remembers my family and pets. Every time I go in he asks about how my family us doing, remembers their names, and helps me with anything I need. I know that if I can't find something I'm looking for, Brian will find a way to get it for me. I would go to the friendly local store rather than one of the big stores any day!! read more

This place is great. I love that they have healthy grain free treats by the pound. They are always very friendly to my dog and he loves going there it's like a vacation for him. The staff is very helpful to suggest new items and they always help you if you have a big bag of dog food to get in your car. I stopped in yesterday to the Carmichael Incredible Pets store only because it was close and I was in a hurry, I have always assumed that they would have high prices so I went elsewhere...imagine my surprise when, first, I was greeted by the most friendly staff I have had the pleasure of meeting and second, I found that the supplies that I wanted were not only there but reasonably priced! One product that I buy online usually because it is an expensive product was carried by Incredible Pets and the price was great, the product outstanding quality! Incredible pets is a good store for me to get cheap food for my pet rats, and the employees have been helpful. My main concerns are the employees can be difficult to find for help if you need assistance, the pet food and treats I came in for could be already sold out and I would have to wait for it to be restocked; I also would like to point out there's not much food and toys for small pets compared to dogs and cats, and I dislike the parking! All in all I like the store and enjoy the services despite the negatives I have addressed. read more

I came in this past week to get puppy food and found the associate very helpful. Jake was able to give me so much information about my new puppy and what kind of food is best for my breed of dog which is awesome because the breed typically has a lot of allergies and other issues. My son has a bearded dragon and they had great information for him plus the supplies we needed. They were willing to take the time to talk to him and let him ask questions.
