The service was very nice. Ambience is nice, but noise carries so even with only 3 tables filled it was incredibly noisy. The food though, omg, so terrible. I have no idea where these good reviews came from. I've never had Asian/Indian food this bad... and I've gotten food poisoning from a restaurant before... but at least I got flavor. This place is BLAND as heck and the food is precooked and old. We ordered the Burnt garlic chili rice with the mix (lamb, chicken shrimp). The meat was sparse, hard, old and overcooked (except the little shrimp, they were fine)... but there seemed to be ZERO seasoning. Not even salt. It was so weird. The rice was basically white. No chili, no garlic. At all. Then we got the chicken momos steamed, soft, but the filling again had almost no flavor. We also ordered the crispy chili potatoes, which is just twice fried French fries with a chili glaze. Not amazing, but literally the best thing we ate. Kinda sad. Finally, we ordered the roti kanai, roti was a nice texture, but you only get a single small coffee plate sized piece, the curry sauce was ok. Just no spiciness at all. Weird for a curry. Lastly, we ordered the butter chicken. The chicken in it was very old, dry, precooked and was not cooked in the sauce. It was thrown into the sauce and reheated, so the meat was very tough and hard. Seemed like it'd been cooked the day before. We asked for a level 7/10 for spiciness, it had zero spiciness. The flavor of the butter sauce was good, but without penetrating the chicken it just kinda fell flat as soon as you started gnawing through those old chicken pieces. Then I naively ordered a mango lemonade, which, no exaggeration was just plain water with a DASH of mango juice. So watered down it tasted more bland than Gatorade. Literally zero lemon in the lemonade. Crazy. Again, service was great, but man this food was so bad... by far the worst I've ever had. Proceed at your own risk. read more

The restaurant was busy but it wasn't full, I requested to be seated in a different table and I was told there was nothing else available, they didn't even care. It looks like the restaurant is doing well and there is enough crowd, so they stopped caring about people. I also felt we were treated differently just because we looked and dressed very simple. I immediately said I will leave now and he didn't even hesitate nor stop or try to help me out, like he didn't care. UPDATE: Reached out by management post review with apology and comped meal. Appreciate the gesture! Wish it was when we were there. Ambiance was wonderful, very well kept and clean location. They had plenty vegetarian option. We ordered: veg sweet corn soup, hot and sour soup, spring rolls, veg street side chow mein, cauliflower manchurian, and veg szechuan dumplings. All of these were just decent, not super impressed. My favorites were the soups. We had a huge mishap; we were served chicken dumplings! Being completely vegetarian, I was unhappy cause I had eaten most of the first one when I realized it did not taste right!!! Our waiter was very apologetic and friendly but I was expecting management to come and apologize for this mistake which never happened. Was also expecting for them to comp us for the dumplings at the least or even a give a complimentary dessert, which also did not happen. Good food. Service could be better. This is a restaurant serving Indian-Chinese cuisine. One of the few, in the Seattle area. They offer in-restaurant dining as well as take-out options. I like that it is open from noon to 10 pm on the weekends, so you can head out for late lunch or early dinner. Pretty good sized restaurant, with seating suitable for large groups as well as booths, for smaller groups. The decor is tastefully done and has a slightly upscale feel. We tried the vegetarian fried rice and chicken in Szechwan sauce. The quality of food was good with decent portions for the price. The fried rice felt more like fast-food style with the oddly shaped veggies, but tasted pretty good. The service at the hostess/ front desk could be better though. When we walked in, the hostess was on the phone taking an order for take-out and we were waiting for over 5 minutes until a waitress showed us to our table. I recommend this for Indians craving of Chinese food. But all my Chinese food cravings start from momo's or dumplings. But, I feel they missing on opportunity in serving good dumplings, as there isn't major similar restaurant in Greater Seattle Area. Rather than serving good tasty dumplings they just focused on price point (which is more expensive than what I can find good Indian style momo's in NY or SFO Indian restaurants). Hopefully they game up in dumplings and I'll be there die hard fan. read more

I had never been to the Bothel IBG.So, this was the first time to be there. I liked this location it was better than the bellevue one. The server/ order taker was very helpful. But they didn't have a menu for the beverages and their QR code wasn't working. We wanted to order masala lemonade but they didn't have the spices for it so instead of three Drinks we could order only one. For starters we had ordered Vegetable samosas their size was good and they were delicious but I guess they didn't have green chutney so we got only sweet chutney(tamarind one). Our main course a mix of some chicken dishes and vegetable dishes were all good, We enjoyed them a lot and for the dessert we had ordered rasmalai. This was also pretty good. Despite low ratings, we went to the location for dine in for the Indo-Chinese cuisine. While the food was not bad, they failed to mention about 20% gratuity for 5 people dine-in and we left disappointed with the poor quality of service from a chain I had high admiration for. The floor was sticky and the bathrooms were very unclean. You will find the substantial dust accumulation in the air conditioner registers. Our party of 5 was crammed on a table for 4. There wasn't enough space to keep the amount of food ordered. We constantly struggled with sharing of food and often ended up elbowing each other. There were 3 different staff members attending to us, of which only one was polite and was attentive to the situation. The attentive staff member quickly addressed an incorrect item sent to us. Rest two were doing rounds for asking "is everything good" with no care in their expression. Food is good if you like the Indian style Chinese cuisine. The vegetarian street style chow mein and chicken fried rice were good. The Singaporean Noodles was a miss because of unseasoned lamb slices in it - there was very strong lamb smell - makes you puk-ish. After our dine-in experience, I don't think we are going back to the location unless others report of improvements. We have been regularly order from this location. Every time our experience has been great! We stick to our usual food we like from here. This time we decided to try something new. It was a mistake. Out of 4 items, 3 of them were bad. We ordered red Thai curry, manchow soup, pao bhaji, and hakka noodle. Hakka noodle was as always great. Thai curry - completely bland- no salt, no flavor, just some chilli, coconut milk and vege thrown in. Manchow soup- very average, no flavor, seemed just good to take picture, looks wise good, but no taste. Pao Bhaji- supposedly they have a pao festival going on. Seeing that I thought they might have some great pao bhaji to offer. It was the worst pao bhaji I have ever had. No taste, no salt, no flavor, not even any pao bhaji masala that could have given some depth to the dish! Pao- just thrown in, not warmed or bit of butter! Dry pao! We could only finish the Hakka, rest all was trashed! The food really sucked today! Demotivated me to try them again for anything new! Stick to their specials - Chinese food! read more

We had a fabulous dining experience here tonight. The food was great--we had a paneer appetizer, spicy tofu, and the most delicious cauliflower dish I've ever eaten. Mom enjoyed her date dumpling dessert with ice cream sauce immensely. The restaurant is clean and bright, with comfortable seating and lovely decor. The prices are very reasonable. In addition to the cauliflower, the stand-put tonight was the staff--friendly, attentive, and positive, we enjoyed interacting with them almost as much as we enjoyed the food. Ordered a Takeout on Sep 30, 2020. At the time of order, estimated time of delivery was 20 minutes. I had to go wait additional 30 minutes at the restaurant to get my order. Food was terrible, cold and half cooked. Worst of all they charged twice. When i Looked at my credit card statement. There was one entry for ONLINE ORD* INCHINS ON 415xxxxxx7 CA and another entry for the same amount from IBG BOTHELL BOTHELL WA. Reaching out to my credit card company to dispute it. I would not look at my credit card statement for each and every transaction, somehow i happen to look after a week and found it. The management and service seems to be off, the have very less of an idea what's in the menu and don't even seem to know much about the menu items. This was my first time here, and we had a group of 3 of us. They don't take reservations, so when we arrived at 5:45 on a Saturday night, I thought we'd have a long wait, but surprising only had a 4 min wait and service was excellent! I know other reviews had different experiences, but our server was attentive and made sure we were happy. The place is located right in the middle of constructing, so it's easy to miss, but there is paid parking nearby. It's only an 8 min walk from free parking at Bellevue Square. The food was delicious and somewhat spicy for my sensitive palette... I usually ask for zero stars at restaurants, so keep that in mind. We had the butter chicken, chili noodles, prawns and veggies, fried cauliflower (my favorite), and two different orders of dumplings... chicken steamed (think potsticker), and veggies masala ( more of a round dumpling fried on the bottom with sauce). The food came quickly and everything was good. It came with sticky rice, butter chicken came with jasmine rice) for 3 women, and we had plenty of leftovers. I worked in Canyon Park for many years and its nostalgic coming back; though I live close. Our target is Thai but decided to explore today. Inchin looks like a nice restaurant. It is. Like how they incorporated the Asian influences into the design element. Modern and clean! Great first impression and wait staff was friendly and did a great job. I know my review is not great, the restaurant itself is great but the lunch I had was just not good at all. Lunch beef with hot garlic sauce. Started with hot and sour soup and egg roll. Soup was very salty and not sure if they are trying for something different, but broth and vegetables did not the usual taste or texture. It was just salty and sour. Honestly not sure how they could mess this up. Entree. The beef is in a bowl of sauce with vegetables. Sauce is very sour, too much vinegar. Beef is very chewy. I would have prefer Panda and after lunch, went to McDonald's for a chicken sandwich. Maybe its the lunch specials. I've been to several restaurants where the lunch specials, well for me, was just meh but the restaurant had decent reviews. Am I judging too harshly? Inchin's joined the Bothell restaurant scene a couple months ago. In my opinion, if you are looking for a authentic Asian restaurant, this is not the place. From the size of the restaurant, decor, to their food, I would say this place is very similar to PF Chang's. It's a nice restaurant if you are satisfied with Americanized Asian dishes, and a nice bar. My husband and I tried the "Chinese" dishes only, and we can say they were just ok. The pot stickers appetizer was so so, nothing special. They are similar to Costco's frozen dumplings. The "Hong Kong" chicken was very unusual (not in a good way), I can tell you the flavor is nowhere near Hong Kong, and it did not look very appetizing either. The black bean with cod was better comparatively, and it tasted like what it should be. Our server was polite and attentive. We could tell he was trying to give us a pleasant dining experience which we appreciated. I saw they have a happy hour menu, maybe we will come back for that and try some drinks too. But we will stay away from the Hong Kong chicken for sure! Two stars for Chinese food, four star for our server. read more

NIce venue, attentive staff, and lots of choices on the menu. In fact, the menu was difficult to parse but the waitress was very helpful. The place was neat and had some nice artwork. I love the variety of table sizes so that we could get one that was perfect for two. I had the Mongolian beef and she had the Szechuan chicken. Her's was one star but she said it wasn't spicy at all. I had the no star and thought it was deliciously spicy in a non-hot way. The ice tea was superb. But the fried ice cream was different than any I'd tasted before. So all in all a nice place, just not one we will frequent. I have to say that if you like lots of onions and peppers with your food, and a lot do, you will love this place. This is my first time back since the grand closing of Canyons. I will admit, at first glance, I was quite skeptical. Being that this place is close to work, I decided to give it a try. Looking through the yelp reviews, the feelings were mixed. Until I saw a picture posted by another reviewer. To my surprise, the trusted and true, Chuy was in the bar. I just had to go in now. After some greetings and small talk, it was time for some drinks. This place has an amazing craft cocktail menu (see pictures). The smoked out kettle is a nice touch that compliments the whiskey. Chuy recommended the paneer tomato dish, and to my carnivorous surprise, it was delicious. I do warn you that if you're not a fan of spice, this place may seem a bit out of the element. But it never hurts to try. I give his place a 4 mainly for the staff. The happy hour is probably the best in town with $4 beers! Tap and bottle! With a nice comfortable atmosphere and amazing service, I look forward to coming back to try the rest of this craft cocktail menu. Until then, cheers! I went a couple of weeks ago with the whole family. We had great service and the pkace was very clean, even for my wife's standards. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps for appetizer. It was a good size for an appetizer. I liked the ratio of chicken to veggies. The sauce was good as well but could have used even more spice. For dinner we got the kids noodles, Mongolian Beef, and Chicken in Black Bean Garlic Sauce. My favorite was the Beef. It was super sweet but I would reorder again. The Chicken had a good amount of vegetables but it didn't have anything special to the sauce. It wasn't really spicy and overall just was pretty bland. I would not order this again. Although not pictured we did order the fried Ice Cream for dessert. It was alright. A little too much breading on it. It was nice that there were no nuts so my daughter's could have some as well. The biggest complaint I would have is the serving dish . The size of the helping is great but the serving dish is too small for that amount of food. As soon as you try to scoop it, the other side starts to fall out. Be prepared if you have a dish with a thin sauce like the Black Bean Sauce. read more
