TLDR: A fantastic game day spot with an energetic atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious Peruvian food. The only downside was the limited and not very clean restrooms during a busy event. First, let's give an applause to their social media team for helping me discover this place. The game day promotions caught my attention, and they absolutely delivered. The decor, atmosphere, and energy were all fantastic. You could tell Inca Social was well prepared, with a fully staffed team that stayed attentive throughout our visit. Whether it was quickly finding us an extra chair or constantly refilling our water, the service was excellent. The food was equally impressive. I highly recommend the lomo saltado, and the pasta served alongside it was surprisingly delicious. The Inca Balls were also a great appetizer with a light, crispy exterior and a savory filling. The drinks were solid as well and rounded out the experience nicely. My only complaint is that there are only two restrooms, and given how busy the restaurant was, they weren't as clean as I would have hoped. I had been here before and the food was not bad at all as well as the service. I decided to go for Mother's Day since I had not been here in years and was hopeful the food would be the same if not better. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Food selection was smaller, food was not worth the price and service was awful. We did not have a reservation but saw several tables open. They sat us near the welcome booth as we were a family of 5. We were given menus but not enough utensils and thought eventually we would get it along with the menus. There seem to be a huddle of employees in the entrance of booth and the waiter did not show up for another 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes passed and a different waitress showed up asking if we were ready. She did not tell us of any specials and we had to ask her the price of the bistec a lo pobre which she said was $26. We also asked her about other items we saw at the online menu but she said they weren't available. We decided to stay and order ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos and bistec a lo pobre. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a chicha. There was no physical menu for children and she verbally told us the options. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my toddler. She took our orders and food came out after 15 minutes. The meat was missing the sauce the menu said it came with, the ceviche tasted very lemony and the chicken tenders were more like chicken balls. The waitress never showed up with our drinks and we decided to just eat and go as the staff seemed to want to socialize more than tend to the customers. Once we were done, we asked for boxes and the check. Apparently, gratuity was already included and maybe thats why the service was so bad? She hardly came to check on us and to top it off she was surprised when we told her drinks never showed up to please take it off check. She didn't apologize or asked how the food was. She gave us boxes and off we left. Later, we realized the bistec a lo pobre was $28 instead of $26 and we had ordered two. I just wanted to leave at that point and not wait another 5 minutes for waitress to fix her mistake. The ad, as shown in picture, said all moms receive a flower but I guess having three kids with me wasn't enough for me to get one. We also noticed when we left their website said a party of 6 or more has gratuity included but we were a party of 5. What is shown online is very different than what you get in person and if the food was great I would gladly go back for at least takeout. Food is not worth it, the service for Mother's Day made it worst and the environment was mediocre at best. Prices were inconsistent and menu is not appealing. Wow this place is delicious! The tableside ceviche was the star of the show. The server explained the entire process, ingredients, and adjusted the spiciness and amount of toppings to our liking. Service was quick and everyone was kind and attentive! We also ordered the Peruvian sushi, beef lomo saltado, pescado a lo macho, and tequenos. After seeing so many reviews on Yelp about this place, I decided to check it out. I woke up craving Peruvian tamal on a nice Sunday afternoon. They have brunch items but I just wanted to order the tamal, which it was okay. The salsa criolla was good, the yellow sauce was good. Now, the Peruvian mule was the highlight of the meal lol. The decor and ambiance is super cool. I was tempted to take more pics but there was a lot of ppl and didn't want to get anyone uncomfortable Also, they have an "Amazonian collection," which it looked good but I was just not that hungry. This is a favorite for my sister and me. I really enjoy their Rosslyn location, so I'm happy I can get my fix closer to home. The servers are very friendly and are happy to answer our questions about the menu. I feel like I've had a decent variety of the menu here, and I'd say you can't miss with anything you choose. Popped in on Thursday which happened to be ladies night! 2.99 margaritas were available and delicious! Ended up getting a variety of appetizers and some happy hour selections. Yum! Everything! It was hard to choose what to order because the whole menu looked good. Went for lunch on a weekday with my husband and parents. There was a good balance of traditional Peruvian dishes and fusion dishes. I got the social bao with pork belly. The flavor was good but the pork belly was a little bit tough. Went to this place recently as it was new for everyone in the family. Food was great! Lots of new things to try and I would go back to order something different each time. I don't eat meat and there were still plenty of options for me. The only reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5 are because my dish (Inca Tacu Tacu with shrimp) was a little too salty, and we were kind of ignored by our waitress toward the end. I think we waited about 20-25 minutes after we told her no thank you to dessert/we'd like the check. She was waiting on a very large group of people, but she walked by us a lot. I was not familiar with many of the options on the menu. The staff was very helpful with providing great advice. We started with a round of drinks. The Chicha Rum was delicious. The Latin Ice was bitter and did not have much flavor. The Inca Kolada was very strong and had an interesting mix. The rest of our group decided to stick with beers. For food I decided to try the Peruvian Sushi. I ordered the Acevichado Roll and the Tumi Roll. They were the top favorites on the menu. The presentation for the sushi was awesome. They were very similar but had very distinct tastes. They were packed with fried shrimp and topped with cream cheese and avocado. I ordered two rolls of five pieces each and it was enough to fill me up for dinner. For dessert we ordered the Sweet Sampler. This gave us a variety of items to try instead of ordering one piece of cake. It came with alfajores, churros, tres leches, suspiro, and flan. I love flan and tres leches so those were amazing. It was my first time trying alfajores and churros. They were very sweet and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the options. Inca Social was a cool place to try. Inca Social is a fun and tasty place to go to for a good passion fruit pisco sour, a visit with a friendly llama or a delicious meal of small plates or typical Peruvian main dishes. We like a variety so we normally stack the table with chicken and beef empanadas, Inca balls in cheese and beef, a really good ceviche classico mixto, wings and then a pescado macho. The décor is springlike and there is even an area by the bar that you can use for more private events. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and, on special occasions you can pet the very adorable llamas they bring over to the restaurant from a nearby farm. If you would like to watch sports, there are several TV's and sometimes they drop down the really big projector screen. The vibe is casual and friendly and the food and service are consistently good. I have been stalking Inca Social on IG for some time and was intriguing by the food and overall ambiance. My goal is to one day stop by when they have the Alpacas there. We stopped by the Mosaic District for the holiday pop up market, which was very busy. So we decided to finally check Inca Social out. They have a pretty decent selection and menu. I wanted to try a few different things so we ordered the classic device with shrimp, causa rellena (chicken), and chicken empanadas. My daughter ordered the Buffalo wings with steak fries. We also grabbed drinks. I went with a capirinha, which is one of my absolute favs! I have to admit that there's was pretty tasty and probably one of the best I've had recently. My husband ordered a peruvian lager, which he enjoyed. The food didn't take very long. The empanadas were tasty and the sauce included added just the perfect flavor. The causa was also delicious. It came with three, but we're small, so it's perfect for sampling and sharing with others. The shrimp ceviche was really good. It had the perfect amount of lime, corn, shrimp, onion and sweet potato. Not to mention the plantain chips! My daughter liked the wings as well. Overall, I loved the ambiance and food here. The service was good as well. They checked on us a few times, but it did take a while for someone to come by when we first sat down. Here's my thing about this place: they have great food. Here's my other thing: it's very specifically Incan type fusion. So if you're into that kind of food, you'll be in heaven. On the one hand, the ceviche has some of the best portioned fish I've ever had, and the flavors are great. However on some occasions I felt that the ceviche was almost too thickly cut, and the sauce too heavy. Still great, more just not my cup of tea at all times. They do have some interesting fusion dishes, like their take on sushi rolls. One of the better things I find I like is the seafood in general: the seafood platters with the mussels, shrimp, fish, and calamari had that delightful seafood taste you want in a fresh seafood dish. Bottom line: You might love it, and even if you don't, you'll leave it saying it was good food, but just not your taste preference. Bonus: They have a happy hour menu with food + drinks from M-F until 6, so that's always a plus. Their drinks are notably strong. I found this place online and went to check it out. It's a nice size restaurant and TV's in different areas with soccer on. Wait staff is very active so that's good. The ceviche classic was very good and like I had in Peru. I had went to exercise earlier that day so thought I'd try the arroz con pollo too. I didn't really like it. I've been here before for drinks but this was my first time for happy hour/ dinner. I came with a couple of girlfriends on a Friday night to enjoy HH. What was I waiting for?! The food was amazing! We shared the chicken causas and veggie causas, my first time trying this dish- so good! It's a cold appetizer and I loved it so much. We also shared the chicken empanadas and they were also very good. I don't know what the cheese balls were called, but they reminded me of arancini - they were so tasty. I love Inca Social!!! 2023 was the year of me discovering Lomo Saltado and the Lomo Saltado Huancaina variant, my absolute favorite. when they partnered with my favorite Spanish tapas place in the area (Sabores Tapas Bar in Arlington!!!) I noticed that they had my favorite dish on the menu so I needed to come back and try it. I stopped by during happy hour with a friend and we both ordered Lomo Saltado with the Huancaina pasta - the waitress commented that that's the best thing on the menu (I came another separate time and my other waitress also said the exact same thing lol). The Lomo is exquisite with savory umami, delicious mouth dancing flavor. We ended up chatting for a long time, the bartender dropped off complementary drinks for us, which was so unexpected and amazing. the second time I came, they dropped off coupons for our table as well which was so nice. I also like their weekly specials I remember that Thursday is two dollar margaritas for ladies, which is an amazing deal. on another day I believe they do chicken Saltado for $10? Chicken isn't my favorite for the dish but $10 is a great price. I love their decor, very Peruvian with the llama representation. It's never too busy or loud when I stop by and the employees are consistently nice. I also like the parking isn't too difficult to find nearby and it's conveniently located near a metro stop. Considering how often I've passed by this place I can't believe it took me this long to finally try it! I absolutely love the vibes here. It's a cute date spot (my table was near the wall and had bag hooks which is always a plus) and they have a some neon lights and a cute alpaca doll in the front. For the food: we tried lots on the happy hour menu! Like everything was $6 so don't expect the portion size to be big but man I loved their al pastor tacos the most!!! The crispy she'll tasted homemade and was soo crunchy and the meat was flavorful and juicy. I also liked the causas (it was my first time trying that dish in general) and we got one chicken and one veggie causa and both were very refreshing and reminded me of potato/chicken salad! Personally I wasn't the biggest fan of their pork chicharrones because the meat tasted pretty dry to me and tough to chew although it was crispy but it also wasn't very flavorful and the light honey mustard(?) sauce on the side didn't complement it well (and maybe it's supposed to be like but it is just not my preferred type of meat!). As for the fun fries, they were drizzled in similar sauces from the other dishes and sprinkled generously with cheese! I love that they came piping hot and were crispy and thick. The $15 bottomless mimosas is a great deal! The purple corn chicha morada mimosa was hands-down my favorite and taste like mullied wine with a subtle sweetness. The Passionfruit was my 2nd favorite followed by the Pineapple Mimosa and the classic mimosa with OJ was my least favorite. I don't believe the mimosas are offered a la carte, just get the deal! If you are looking for a cocktail, the Passion Flower cocktail is also really good. I wasn't a fan of the housemade Nazca Veggie Burger. Sadly no explosion of flavor and just a bland patty resembling an Impossible burger patty. Where were the veggies? The best part of the meal was the crispy sweet potato fries! Service was nice and gave a complimentary slice of chocolate cake to my friend for her birthday. There's lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. The atmosphere is so cute -- bright colorful murals with lamas, a floral swing set with a hola mi amor sign and floral chandeliers. Love it so much! For lunch during the weekdays they have a 20% off your food and who doesn't love a discount? The mixto ceviche was delicious and it came with these pine nuts or corn nuts or something that absolutely made the dish! My only complaint was that I wanted some chips For dinner my friend and I shared some plates, everything was #nomnom delicious but the noise level was LOUD. The tallerina was good! It has a pesto flavored sauce to it which i enjoyed. The chicken was Juicy and flavorful. The ajie was my least favorite. This was basically stew (based on the menu) and i dsnt think the sauce was interesting and unique but not my favorite. The rice was not good at all lol this taste like dayS old rice that was never heated up properly. I did get their tres leche dessert (not picture) and it was great! Not sure if I'd want to come in when it's busy because there are a lot of tables that can seem like they're too close to each other.
