Bought tickets early in 2025 for a June show. Show was postponed, according to Jammin' Java, but there has been no follow-up. I have tried emailing with no success. Like others have mentioned, phones are shut down. Pissed that they have taken this route. I have enjoyed many shows there over the years, but am done with them now.

We finally got into Jammin' Java for a recent concert by Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill; we see a lot of live music but hadn't had occasion to visit before. What a FANTASTIC intimate music venue! I suspect there are no bad seats - our seats were great. The sound reinforcement was excellent - well balanced and at a perfect volume. Menu is simple but the food is good, as are the drinks. Service is quite friendly and *quick* - and the idea of small standee cards to indicate you need a server's attention is brilliant in a listening venue, since servers don't need to constantly check on you and ask how you're doing. Sadly, JJ doesn't seem to get very many musical artists in that are the sort we seek out - but when they do get any, we'll definitely be back.

How the F$&@ did I land in the middle of a bad episode of Fame? The two stars are for the very friendly servers and the pizza, which came quickly. The pizza was nicely cooked and served hot. The cocktails and beer had variety, strength, and flavor. After that it was downhill. Rapidly. A STEEP DROP. We paid for seats facing the misshapen hind quarters of people who paid less, if at all. A gaggle of ill-mannered youths, possibly from the attached school, took the center and never moved. The band was amateurish and the sound was muddy. The lead singer was either flat or in search of a working microphone the whole time. I felt sorry for them and the applause was minimal. The second band was better but the event still felt like the school band in the school gym. That was okay when I had braces and knee socks, but not now. Don't bother with this amateurish place. Go to a better-managed venue. Catch the students after they grow up. This was 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back. The venue needs to put all seats on a theater-style rake. SMH.

Interesting place in a strip mall. Front of venue is the bar area. In the back is the stage and seating - some tables for food and wine and also just chairs for watching the show, but no place to put a glass down. The service is pretty good. The salad was okay but very heavy on dressing. The pizzas were very good. The pretzel was also good. The prices were reasonable. Overall, a good experience. (Note - we were there for the Billy Gilman performance - and he totally rocked!)

I have a gluten sensitivity. I read on the menu they had a gluten free option, but when I came to yelp I couldn't find any reviews about it. So, I tried it anyway and hoped for the best. Boy am I glad I did! It's excellent! Easily the best gluten free pizza I've ever had! The sauce is amazing, and combined with fresh roasted mushrooms and crispy pancetta it is perfection! Highly-HIGHLY recommend 10/10!

Nice surprise in Vienna. Came to hear a coworker play tonight. Really enjoyed the music at an intimate venue. Having had dinner before we came, I didn't order any food. Friends that were there to see the same band ordered a pizza which they said was really good. Will come back for pizza and/or one of two chilli's on the menu.

Cave man bowl. Blended acai, cashew milk and banana. Topped with granola, banana, dates and coconut and agave. Sooo good.

Ask the Community - Jammin' Java

Is this a 'sit and listen' venue or is dancing a possibility?

Dancing is a possibility depending on the music.

Is there normally a cover fee to enter?

You normally pay for a ticket to whatever event you are going to in my experience. I believe you can be in the front coffee house section without a ticket.

Maybe it's partially because it's free or opening concert that is intended to make you want to attend more paid concerts at venues, but the Marching Band and camera work/acoustics were pretty stunning. There were covers of Wicked (woman also narrated and blew me away with her vocal range-really moving) and a jazz duet that made it not seem boring..for the first time in my life. Everyone in the band is super talented and locked in-really inspiring-you can see they're bringing the energy and giving it their all. The weather was a bit rainy so seating requires extra preparation, but concert was really exciting. This Marching Band has been around since the time of Thomas Jefferson's inauguration and is around 230 years old, almost as old as the founding of the country. The concert was for Memorial Day and I'm someone who's skeptical of everything, but I also was feeling a bit patriotic in the end of with all the talent. The fireworks were pretty impressive too. Bathrooms outside were accessible with minimal lines. To get to the actual venue, there's a bit of a hike up from the parking but there are also a few people driving some carts up for free and I got to ride that too. Some of the direction and blocking off to direct into parking was awkward and require a roundabout drive. Parking can also be a bit crowded, but there was plenty-just be careful driving out of the venue with the traffic because noted there's some impatient/aggressive drivers. There was also some smoke from the fireworks that create what looks like a fog when you walk back down to parking. You can arrive early for better seating, but I was fine going there shortly before the concert starting. Overall really well done and so glad I went even in the rain-unfortunately my pictures do not really do it justice. Here's the link to the concert I went to: https://www.wolftrap.org/show/blast-off/

These venues include church halls, basements of people's homes, lobbies of Arlington condos, a Falls Church bike store, and other community recreational space. Audiences are offered an unmatched experience of getting up close with top talent artists drawn from the nation's premier musical centers (Nashville, New York City, Austin, Athens, etc.). Artists perform acoustic style sets (bigger sets with multiple band players are also offered) to audiences who seek genuine music beyond the teflon machine-generated radio pop, and love to support independent musicians. These artists are tall on talent yet short on big name music industry commercial fame. Offering exquisite, heart-felt music and passion, their performances make for stirring musical soirees. Many of the acts are from the folk/bluegrass field, who have jazz and pop influences, extending sometimes to motown and gospel. Audiences can buy tickets online, via the Web site (stoneroomconcerts.com) but can also walk in to the venue on the performance night and are encouraged to donate to the artist. The host of the venue typically provides snacks and drinks for attendees. This non-profit is run with a lot of heart by David H. who does an impeccable job curating the numerous acts he brings to northern Virginia throughout the year. I highly encourage all music afficionados to attend one of these "house concerts" for the true feeling of shared musical spirit just as it has always been in history, through pure voice and unfiltered performance in a small gathering.

The only downside was the limited and not very clean restrooms during a busy event. First, let's give an applause to their social media team for helping me discover this place. The game day promotions caught my attention, and they absolutely delivered. The decor, atmosphere, and energy were all fantastic. You could tell Inca Social was well prepared, with a fully staffed team that stayed attentive throughout our visit. Whether it was quickly finding us an extra chair or constantly refilling our water, the service was excellent. The food was equally impressive. I highly recommend the lomo saltado, and the pasta served alongside it was surprisingly delicious. The Inca Balls were also a great appetizer with a light, crispy exterior and a savory filling. The drinks were solid as well and rounded out the experience nicely. My only complaint is that there are only two restrooms, and given how busy the restaurant was, they weren't as clean as I would have hoped. Overall, this is a lively spot with great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere that I'd happily return to.

Food selection was smaller, food was not worth the price and service was awful. We did not have a reservation but saw several tables open. They sat us near the welcome booth as we were a family of 5. We were given menus but not enough utensils and thought eventually we would get it along with the menus. There seem to be a huddle of employees in the entrance of booth and the waiter did not show up for another 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes passed and a different waitress showed up asking if we were ready. She did not tell us of any specials and we had to ask her the price of the bistec a lo pobre which she said was $26. We also asked her about other items we saw at the online menu but she said they weren't available. We decided to stay and order ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos and bistec a lo pobre. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a chicha. There was no physical menu for children and she verbally told us the options. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my toddler. She took our orders and food came out after 15 minutes. The meat was missing the sauce the menu said it came with, the ceviche tasted very lemony and the chicken tenders were more like chicken balls. The waitress never showed up with our drinks and we decided to just eat and go as the staff seemed to want to socialize more than tend to the customers. Once we were done, we asked for boxes and the check. Apparently, gratuity was already included and maybe thats why the service was so bad? She hardly came to check on us and to top it off she was surprised when we told her drinks never showed up to please take it off check. She didn't apologize or asked how the food was. She gave us boxes and off we left. Later, we realized the bistec a lo pobre was $28 instead of $26 and we had ordered two. I just wanted to leave at that point and not wait another 5 minutes for waitress to fix her mistake. The ad, as shown in picture, said all moms receive a flower but I guess having three kids with me wasn't enough for me to get one. We also noticed when we left their website said a party of 6 or more has gratuity included but we were a party of 5. What is shown online is very different than what you get in person and if the food was great I would gladly go back for at least takeout. Food is not worth it, the service for Mother's Day made it worst and the environment was mediocre at best. Prices were inconsistent and menu is not appealing. Not sure what happened here but changes should be made at least for Mother's Day.

I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.
