Day before leaving on vacation I decided I really needed a pedicure. I was nervous because 7 weeks ago I fell and got an avulsion fracture on each side of my left ankle. The technician was very gentle and took care to be gentle. When the polish was too thick and not going on neatly the technician took it all off and started again. I couldn't even see there was a problem so I was impressed that they took it upon themselves to fix it. Like most nail shops you can't include the tip on the credit card charge so make sure you bring cash for the tip or run a block down the street to the TD Bank. read more

I'm so glad to have found Impress Nail & Spa, after having tried just about every other nail place in Needham. I've been coming here regularly for about a year and have told everyone I know to come here. The manicurists always do a great job -- manicures with regular polish last for nearly two weeks most of the time, and pedicures last until my nails get too long. The manicurists are very nice and respectful. They do paraffin wax and a quick neck/shoulder massage for free every time. The place is big, bright, clean, and welcoming. Manicure prices are very reasonable ($15) and pedicures are slightly above average ($35) but worth it. read more

I got gel manicure and regular pedicure few days ago. The salon is pretty new it was opened just a few months ago. All staff is very friendly and nice. Very nice salon, but very pricey. I have had some great manicures here, but it has been hit or miss. On one occasion, the woman who painted my nails determined that my cuticles were too sensitive, so she did not paint close to them, making my manicure look grown out from the beginning. Also wouldn't recommend going during busy hours--it was clear that the woman painting my nails today was in a rush, and it definitely shows. Usually gel manicures have lasted about an hour for me here, today it was about 35 min. I spoke with Julia, the manager, who was very helpfand she added a top coat so that the surface of my nail no longer appears bumpy, but my cuticles and surrounding skin were poorly trimmed and my nails lack shape. Very disappointed, will not be going back. read more

The girls were lovely... But I got a terrible pedicure. My nails were cut at an odd angle vs straight across. I do have to say when the towel dropped onto my toes she was really sweet about it and repainted 2 of my toenails... But the overall pedicure looks awful - even the polish work. Horrible experience. Have gotten pedicures here and thought they were decent but will never go back. Asked to have my gel removed and clear polish put on. It took 30 minutes for her to take off and STILL isn't off. My nails look horrendous. The best is to NOT have all my gel taken off it cost $20!! I should have just stuck to the place i always go to because at least techs there know how to take gel off. She kept insisting it was layered on when in reality was 2 coats of an OPI gel. I love it here!! I stumbled upon this nail salon when I was in the area and needed to get my nails done. I saw it had good reviews so I decided I would try it and am SO glad I did! It's by far the best gel manicure I've ever gotten. At 3 weeks it honestly still looks great! They even give you a complimentary shoulder massage after your manicure too!! How many places have you gone to that do that? I know none for me! The pedicures are great too! They take their time and do a very good job to clean up your feet not just paint them. The staff is extremely friendly as well, which makes all the difference. I made a half hour trip just to come back here and am writing this review as I'm here getting a pedicure :) Highly recommend!!! read more

I was 5 minutes late. I called ahead and asked if I should still come in and the lady said it was fine. When I arrived she said we can't do a French pedicure because it takes too long. Then she did it anyway. I got a terrible vibe like they really did not want me there. like staying 5 minutes later was such a big deal to them. She rushed through the pedi and was very rough and was not gentle at all. It hurt my feet. Then they wouldn't honor my $5 off coupon. $42 is way too expensive to begin with. Then she said my tip amount was too low and demanded I give her a bigger tip! when I was not happy with the pedi or the price. I'm never going back. read more

I found myself heading to AZ for a business trip and looking at my pasty legs and winter toes, knew a mani-pedi was necessary. Based on Yelp reviews I sent an appointment request, and received a confirmation in less than an hour. For $50 I received a mani-pedi that was remarkable for the time and care and professionalism of the job. First the pedi included soaking, exfoliating rub, hot rock and lotion massage. And then time and care was taken trimming my toenails and applying color. All while the pedicure massage chair was taking the knots out of my back. Then I moved across the room to the manicure station. My nails were prepped and then I was dipped into a warmed paraffin wax, received a quick neck massage, and then the wax was removed leaving warm soft hands in the midst of a cold MA winter day. And again great care was taken with my nails making sure they were the right length and shape, and polish applied properly. I was seated to dry for as long as I needed. About an hour in and out. Bonus that the parking lot is right outside the door so I was able to wear flip flops to the car in the middle of February! I'll definitely be returning. read more

I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure a week ago. The pedicure is fine, but the gel manicure started peeling off in sheets yesterday, not even six full days later - the tech said it would last at least a couple weeks, as gel manicures have from other salons. She also didn't do very much on my cuticles, which is the main reason I get my nails done, but that happens at other places, too. But I definitely won't be going back, poor quality for a high price. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon pretty regularly since moving to the area in July 2016. Most times, the service and quality is very good - I have had gel manis that have lasted almost 3 weeks. The prices are on the expensive side (gel $35), but for 3 weeks of a mani I don't mind paying that. Lately, the quality has been very hit or miss and there are a lot of new employees. I got a gel mani less than one week ago - 5 nails peeled or cracked and the polish had faded on multiple nails, looking splotchy. I went in today and mentioned this, showing the receipt as proof and asked to have the polish removed. There was no offer to fix the nails or remove the polish for free (normally $5 - no big deal), which would have been best practice for good customer service for a mani marketed to last 14 days. After removing the polish my nails were very rough and jagged, so I asked if they could be buffed and quickly filed/evened out. When I went up to checkout I was charged $15!!! They charged $10 extra to buff and file my nails which took all of 3 minutes... and my nails don't exactly look good. I am very disappointed given that the manicure done at this salon didn't last, which is why I needed the polish removed in the first place. I will not be going back for quite some time, if at all. read more
