I also was a few weeks out from surgery and had to be very careful about infection, so I deeply appreciated her extra care and that she warned me I can't do cuticle removal the way I typically would do for your safety. She also had me dry my nails, a different way than they usually do just for extra precaution. I love how my manicure turned out!!! The ladies working in that shop seemed very professional, and it was a comfortable place to be. I brought my son in for a pedicure and they treated him so well and made him feel comfortable. There were several techs working and I loved to hear the rapport among the staff as they laughed and joked with each other. While they seemed to really be enjoying each other, they often didn't have that same warmth with customers. I found Helena to be a bit unwelcoming and bordering on apathetic which is why I am only giving four stars; however, the work she did was phenomenal! She took great care of my nails and walked me through her process. She thinned out the acrylics which were too thick for me and gave me a beautiful gel finish. Even though I wish she were a bit warmer, I'll still be booking another appointment with her because she truly is talented.
