I came during a slow time on purpose and asked for a female nail tech. I was super clear that I also only wanted acrylic or dip on my hands. I stated this repeatedly along with my preference for a woman. I waited over 45 minutes for the only female tech. Not a problem as they were going to accommodate my request. My pedicure was just a woman going between me and an appointment. I kept asking if I should come back. I was told no repeatedly. We get to my manicure and the woman says she only does gel. I was very clear and stated multiple times I do not want gel. So they kept telling me to have someone else do it. My issue is I specifically waited a while to have the only woman in the salon do this. It's really frustrating because the owner has changed again. The lady who owned it a few months ago was nice and straightforward. Don't waste my evening to give me a messy pedicure (premium volcano pedicure that was rushed) to tell me that you cant do the service I waited for in a manicure. FYI: I waited until I'd paid to leave this review. I waited until I paid to give them feedback. I even tipped the woman 20%. I just can't recommend the place. read more

Dip nails barely lasted two weeks, came in on 12/12 and I have to nails completely popped off and I have another about to go.

I love this place! Not only is it 5 minutes from my house, but the service and quality are top notch! Tammy (the owner) and Lucy are so friendly and customer centric! They provide beautiful gel manicures that last well beyond 2 weeks! I just had to go back last night because of a chip from a manicure on Saturday (that was probably my fault) but they were so apologetic and took care of it right away. The space is also brightly lit and clean and their prices are better than other nail salons in the area. read more

Hot garbage. My gel nails looked beautiful and then chipped the very next day. They continued to chip and peel off within 72 hours. Gel should last at least 2 weeks. They also filed my nails down SO thin so there is no nail bed left. The place is clean and everyone was nice but I can't justify a 3 day gel for that price point and time commitment. They clearly do something to their polishes. read more

A friend and I decided to meet halfway between our homes to get pedicures and lunch. I made reservations at this salon sight unseen, so I wasn't sure what to expect. A&A is very easy to find and has lots of parking. It's a large, clean nail salon staffed by pleasant employees. My friend and I chose our colors and chatted as two very nice women gave us excellent pedicures with really nice foot and leg massages. Our reservations were at 10:30 and they took us right on time. Stopped in for a walk in pedicure and hoped to get in and out. We'll although that didn't happen I did get a great pedicure! I had to wait but the hot water on my feet and the massage chair almost put me to sleep after a day at work and lack of night time Zzz's. The full leg massage with oil, scrub, then lotion was way more than I expected, $28. For $40 they'll do an hour of hot stone, hmmm? Me toe toes are pretty for yoga and the spring! The people were friendly and the place is open and appears clean. They take credit cards but not for tips so bring cash. read more

I had a really wonderful experience today at A&A Nails. I scheduled a Dip Manicure and a Gel Pedicure. I arrived and the tech I was scheduled for a personal emergency so was a bit late - however, they got me seated into the pedicure chair, got my dip nails wrapped to start the removal process and I had a 5 minute wait. When I selected a french style dip manicure the tech started it but spoke with her other team members and showed them that she was struggling with the process. Doing a French manicure with Dip is quite different than other methods. So another tech said she would be able to take over. They switched me up and I proceeded to get an amazing result. In short - they were thrown a curve by my request, were thoughtful in creating a solution and it all worked out. Everyone inthe salon is pleasant, friendly and competent. I cannot tell you how many times I've had a manicure that wasn't great yet the staff acts like it's my problem. In this case, they recognized a situation and responded. Can't ask for more than that! This is my 5th time there and I'll be back! And, they place is recently renovated and looks great! read more

I have been going to A & A for nearly a decade. Until recently, I have been very happy with the services provided. Unfortunately, it seems things have taken a turn for the worse, after my wonderful nail tech. My first gel manicure with the new employee resulted in a seriously painful injury, due to an oddly vigorous filing session. After nearly two months, the nailbed is still very tender and pink. I decided to hang in there and try again for another gel manicure. This time, the resulting manicure looked very thick; gummy with an odd texture. Two days later I removed it on my own and just gave myself a manicure. I am not sure what is going on in this shop, but I really hope they decide to "up their game". They can turn this around, but should do so very soon. I will not be returning. read more

I really liked this place! My mom and I went for a manicure/pedicure and I thought they did a great job. I had made an appointment for 11:45 but they didn't seat us until 12:00. Don't bother making an appoinment unless it's during peak hours. They seem to cater to older clientele (this could be because of their location) and I was the youngest one in there by 30 years. It's a clean salon but pretty bare on the inside. They have a nice couch for waiting! Prices were competitive as well, $76 without tip for two pedicures and two manicures. The girls who helped us did a nice job. They did speak English and it was easy to understand them. They always asked before doing something that might hurt or tickle and kept up an appropriate level of communication throughout our appointments (just enough talking, but not too much). My only beef is they don't have a regular nail dryer, they have one of those ion/purple light dryers. Good spa, I'll recommend it! read more

My colleague highly recommended A&A and since I was looking for a good a.k.a. convenient nails place in Natick I decided to give them a try. Went in for a mani/pedi without an appointment on a Friday afternoon and it was packed! A sure sign that this place was GOOD! I was seated (in the pedi chair) in about 5mins and the staff was super friendly. The pedicure with orange scrub massage (for about 10mins), warm lotion and hot stone was heavenly! Sooo relaxing. Went here for a mani/pedi on a friends recommendation... Tami greeted me when I walked in and gave me the MOST fabulous pedicure. She took her time cleaning and cutting my cuticles, and gave me the longest leg massage I ever had while getting a pedi. Then to top it all off, I was rubbed down with WARMED lotion! It was fantastic. I never felt rushed. Tami also let me try on the gel color on my finger before she started, because I wasn't sure if I liked it.....She was so patient, and kind. I am new to the area and went in for a simple polish change, no manicure or pedicure just a polish change. I have never been here before and no one informed me that the tip can not be added to the receipt. There is no ATM in the salon to get cash from so you have to drive down the street and go to a random bank to get cash and then drive back in order to give a tip (such a hassle) I thought this was ridiculous given that no one informs you and there is no visible sign before the service that you need cash. With that being said I was over charged anyway. The salon is ok, just your typical nail salon where the technicians talk to themselves. Not impressed I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

Super clean and COVID safe. Everyone was spaced out and there were partitions between stations. Hand sanitizer and temperature check when you walk in. Staff were very friendly and they have a great polish selection. My pedicurist took extra care to make sure my nail polish looked great and it was a very relaxing experience. read more

I live nearby and this has become my go to nail salon. They're always friendly, do a good job, and the manicures last. The salon is clean and welcoming. I've knocked them down a star since I've had to wait even with appointments, so I think they tend to overbook around the holidays. Tammy is the absolute best. I have been with her for over ten years. She has decided to relocate to Crystal Nails& Spa in Framingham. So she can be treated wit dignity and respect. The owner of A & A is one of the most unprofessional, inconsiderate business owners I have ever met. She could care less about her customers and most of her nail polish is older than me. She is always late for her scheduled appointments if she remembers them at all and I have seen people waiting in their car for the store to open 20 minutes late. Then she does a rush job. I brought my Mom and they were so sweet to her (she's a cute little old lady now..) and have both of us a great manicure, and she also got a very good pedicure. I am very picky about my manicures; thought this one was thorough and neat and didn't chip for almost a week (my pet peeve). This will be my new go-to salon when I visit my parents. The owner is professional, kind and extremely accommodating so every client feels welcome, and the staff are well trained, patient and respectful of what each client asks for. Really relaxing pedicures are not rushed and massage is great. They do very nice gel manicures that last for more than 2 weeks. I come here for Tammy and she always does a great job! Now, Tammy left, I realize how all of the other workers aren't so great. They rush when they do my nails, they're very sloppy, and they are never what I expect it to be. When, Tammy did my nails, it was beyond what I expected.The store is now quiet too. i'm giving 3 stars because my pedicure was amazing. however i also got a full set of acrylics by another lady and it was the worst experience ever. the lady doing my acrylics cut the tips a perfect length but then decided to cut them shorter to the point they were shorter than my finger tips. i stopped her after my right hand and told her they were too short. she insisted they would be fine because i need to get used to longer nails since mine were currently nubs- i then told her no, i have been doing acrylics for 10 years. i thought she would take the tips off of that hand and redo them, but instead she built on length with the acrylic. this resulted in a ton of built up acrylic under my nails. she struggled to buzz it out from under and i had to ask her to keep going. i'm now 45 mins into getting the acrylics on and shaped. she didn't buzz the top of the nails down enough so the acrylics were also too thick. all the shapes were different as well. now she's getting ready to polish and i am shocked because there's so much shaping and buzzing she still needs to do. i decided to go home and finish shaping them myself. so i told her don't have time as i said i need to leave at 5... i arrived at 3 for an appointment. she said she could do a gel french manicure in the remaining 10 mins she had. i know a good french takes longer than that so i said no thank you, i will walk out without them painted and come back tomorrow. at the payment counter she tried to make me pay for the polish over the acrylics when she didn't even do them. i said i refuse to pay until i come back to get them painted. then she was rude about my form of payment. she looked in my wallet seeing i had a bunch of cash and almost demanded i pay cash. i was extremely uncomfortable and told her no. now i am too uncomfortable to go back to have my nails painted so i will be going to another place to pay and have them painted. also... she charged me $55 for a full set of acrylics without any paint on them. that's not right. but i didn't feel like fighting with her anymore. i'm very upset because i never speak up when i don't like services because i feel too bad. this was the first time i spoke up (because it was so bad) and i am so traumatized to ever speak up to a service provider again. i also never write reviews unless i love a place, but i really felt the need to write this one because of how bad this experience was. read more

I go here all the time to get my nails done and I really like it. I always see Vi for my acrilic's and she does a great job. I'll see whomever for my pedicure, and every single time it's amazing. They give multiple massages and a solid pedi overall, the massage chairs are great and are always working. They have a good selection of colors but of course i always want more so I can stand there staring at all of them for even longer!!! It's not luxurious but it's comfortable and the price is right :) read more

I would give no stars if I could. First of all we called for an appointment and there was 3 of us and when we came in we waited for 30 minutes before we even got service. Then one of us got seen and my sister and I were waiting still.... then finally they called my my sister and then 20 min later called me. They had me waiting in the chair and another couple came in and they took care of them before me. I wondered why they asked me to sit in the chair and then ignored me and took care of someone else. Then they rushed my sisters nails and they were all crooked and the glue wasn't holding. She decided she didn't want her nails done and then they stood over us and hounded her about why she didn't want her nails done, we were polite and said she changed her mind. They embarrassed us being loud and kept asking why she didn't want her nails done infront of everyone. Then I didn't get my nails done. Worst experience and very rude . I really wish I had a great experience like the other people that reviewed this place. I went in last week to get nail tips and a pedicure. I was rushed through the whole thing. My nails looked like gobs of snot hanging off my fingers and the "pedicure" was a $30 polish change. I asked for a set of pink and whites, which ended up being white tips sloppily glued on with clear dental acrylic gobbed on that cured with air bubbles in the acrylic. I came in with blue nail polish on my toes. Whoever worked on me did a real half-assed job taking the polish off. So I left with a french paint job with old blue polish left in the corners....and I had to go to a wedding the next day looking like that. I will never go back to this place. And don't believe the little "menu" the have at the register because they will suddenly jack the price up and lie to you when your ready to pay. For instance, on the menu, it says $5 for a polish change but I was charged $30. And when you dispute the price, they threaten to call the police. It's a classic case of bait and switch. You've been warned. Stay away from this chop shop!!! read more

I came here after reading other yelp reviews hoping for a great experience but what I got was quite different. I had a gel manicure done that ended up chipping 2 days later. I called about having it fixed but couldn't get back into the salon for a few days as I live in Boston. I was assured on the phone that this wouldn't be a problem but when I got there I was told that I had waited too long and that if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay. I tried to explain to the owner that I had called and that they had chipped after only two days and she pretty much called me a liar. She was extremely rude and argumentative and made feel extremely embarrassed in front of other customers. She was quite unprofessional and had this conversation with me as she worked on another customer. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money on a manicure that was supposed to last for 2 weeks but made it for 2 days. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable at a salon ever and will never return here for services. There are far better salons out there that treat customers with dignity and respect. Not only was my experience terrible but I also found the salon to be unsanitary. After my manicure was done, the tools were wiped and put back- I'm so thankful I left with merely a bad manicure and not a staff infection. I strongly encourage people to avoid this salon and the rude and unprofessional management that runs the place. read more
