Kindest workers, quick service, and super easy to book an appointment. I enjoyed having music playing (very trendy songs) and the tv was on playing the college football games (amazing choice haha exactly what I wanted to watch). It's your classic nail salon shop! Allure Nails & Spa totally exceeded our expectations when my mom and I went in for mani pedis. The pedicure is currently priced at $30, and it is $42 for both a mani pedi, so we went that route. They had four staff members present on a Wednesday afternoon, and all rotated stations. We called ahead to reserve two seats for pedicures and were seated in massage pedicure chairs when we arrived at our scheduled time. The pedicure was amazing, especially for $30! After the usual cut, trim, shape, and file part of the pedicure, the massageS started. First there was a great smelling (coconut?) exfoliating sugar scrub, followed by a massage with oil, then a massage with lotion, and ending with a hot stone massage. Amazing! The woman working on my pedicure was very friendly, and kindly was gentle with my big toes when I asked her to be! I believe the pedicure was around 45 minutes. The manicures were also very nice, and they used new tools for every manicure. I also appreciated the manicurist asking which shape I preferred for my nails. He did a great job and there were no lumps or bumps in the polish. We were then sat at the drying station to finish off our hands and feet, and watched TV while waiting. Overall a great experience, especially for the price! The shop itself is fairly basic in terms of decorating, but clean and does the job! Will definitely be back with friends. read more

I've been here a few times now. And I will be coming here for a while. I've been getting the gel manicure. It's $30 (plus tip). And it easily lasts 5-6 weeks. They keep track of my polish - I don't change color often. I'm really not a touchy-feely person and even having a stranger touch my hands for a manicure can tense me up. They don't touch me above the wrist. So that helps. Parking can be tight - there are only a few street spots. But you can use the post office lot or the playground lot across the street. read more

They do a nice job on gel manis and pedis, and the hot stone massage is wonderful but they weren't very friendly ; the mother who I guess owns the salon, was very cold and rough with my feet, and the daughter that did my mani was unfriendly and rough too. I went today for a scheduled gel manicure & pedicure. While my first visit there a few weeks ago was fine (although they are very unfriendly and cold), today I was met with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism by the owner Sean, who did my manicure. He was about to remove the old gel that was on my nails with an electronic-file. I told him I did not want that used and my nails had been damaged elsewhere by the e-file. He kept insisting several times on using it, and I again stated politely, "No, I prefer the traditional hand file to remove gel. ". He proceeded to grab a manual file and start aggressively filing the gel off my nails and told me that I was getting nail polish on the file (of which is supposed to be disposable and used only on one customer for sanitary reasons!) and that this would take him more time and that will be an additional charge in the future. He continued to make it known to me that he was aggravated to be using a manual file (instead of accommodating his client's wishes) by his gestures. I told him that was fine, I will easily take my business elsewhere in the future and not return. He continued aggressively filing. Turned out the manicure took no longer than any other gel-manicure! I also shared my displeasure and disappointment before I left with his wife, Phi, who heard everything, and she did not even offer an apology- she said nothing. There are too many nail salons in the Wellesley-Newton-Natick-Wayland area for an owner/anyone to be as unprofessional and rude as this one was! There simply is never an excuse for that. read more

My favorite nail place in the area. After more than a few very negative experiences at Femiluxe, I decided to try Allure. My nails always look fantastic, and everyone who works here is really meticulous. I appreciate that they take their time with customers instead of rushing to squeeze in as many people as possible. Even my non-gel manicures last a few days longer than they do at other places. I have had to wait 15+ minutes after my scheduled appointment, hence the four star rating, but I will continue to frequent Allure because they really do an outstanding job. read more

I tried this nail salon today after being a loyal customer every two week for over ten years to a nail salon that I I'm not going to name, I decided to change because I have a absolute favorite nail color that I get 80% of the time and the salon ran out over 10 weeks ago. They haven't bothered to reorder knowing every time I come in I ask for it, and I'm just srugged off... so thought I would try Allure it is on my way home from work. Soooooo happy I tried them out! I've heard this place is very good and the people are nice but from my experience I have to disagree. Sean's mother did my nails and not only did she hurt me by twisting my fingers and arms (she was not gentle at all and rude) she did not do enough layers on my gel so I can see right through the color down to my nail. It has been a couple days since and 2 of my nails have already chipped. It was the least comfortable gel manicure I have ever gotten and I am not happy about my experience. I have mixed reviews on this place. Staff was very nice here. Pedicure was fabulous with an orange scrub and hot stones-that was the best! I had a fill and paint too with design, but only one person does designs here and they are very basic. I wish somewhere in the area people did better designs like in CT and Maine, for some reason, MA seems not to get designs too much? My problem was the paint chipped off 2 days later on my fingers and toes and I think it was because they do not use enough top coat on top or don't use a really good one??? The place inside was very nice though and prices were not as cheap as my Framingham one but not much more. I would say also run the a/c more on hot days so nail polish does not cake up either and customers are comfortable. I would go back if they changed the top coat to OPI or used more of it. You can park in front, down side street, or across at the park, very easy to get too right downtown near 27 & 30, behind the post office. Phi is a treasure and such a great find! I've been going to Phi for manicure and pedicure for several years, while she worked in a salon in Natick, and I followed her to this new place in Wayland. Phi is very careful and precise with her work and takes great care of my cuticles, nails and the skin on my feet. Her pedicure and gel manicure last for several weeks. Phi is very pleasant and always happy to give you advice on color, if you ask (for a special occasion or just on a regular day).
