I've never been so happy with a nail salon in my 35 years of having my nails done. The owners and their extended family are friendly (even hilarious, sometimes), taking a great deal of pride in the near-to-perfect work. The decor is lovely, and did I mention their prices? I dare another salon to beat them!! I've been to salons in Sudbury, Wayland, and Waltham and none come near to Salon d'Elegance. I call my usual nail technician, Lyn, my "doctor." She got my feet through issues that had begun to affect the way I walked. And now that I'm a woman of a certain age, I know how much all her help with in-grown toe nails helps. Oh, yes. I've been going here for years. I've tried other places and always have a better mani pedi at Salon Delegance. It's a family owned business and all the sisters are very talented, hardworking and good at what they do. The salon is clean and the decor light and airy. Donna has been keeping my ingrowns in check for years. My daughter now goes to her too and she's better than any podiatrist plus you get polish and a soak and leg massage for the price of a copay! Avoid. I went once and found it strange, it was a Saturday afternoon and I was the only one there. The tech did a lacklustre job of my nails and then left me alone in a big room while they dried. I was anxious about making another appointment but my usual tech is on a long vacation. I was traveling to Europe and so two weeks ahead booked for a mani and pedi for the day I was leaving. I arrived at the salon and told me they had no record of the booking. No apology, nothing. Needless to say I will never return. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with every technician there and they are all top notch. the pedicures are great for keeping my ingrown toenail issues at bay. My mother and I went for a manicure + pedicure. My pedicure looks great. However my gel manicure is wavy and cracked. When I asked the manicurist, she said, "oh no what happened?" But then left and told me to keep it in the dryer. She disappeared for so long, I didn't have time to ask again for her to fix it. I am now going to have to pay someone else to fix it, I can't have my nails looking like this. Photos taken same day. My manicurist showed up late for work that day, and my water got cold as I waited. She made up for time by rushing through pedicure. Also, The website advertised signature pedicure + manicure as $40. My pedicure and gel manicure (+ French up charge) came to $70, as the joint services cost $120. That seemed a bit expensive especially considering quality of manicure. read more

Where do I begin... First I'd like to say the space of the salon is always clean and neat. It is well kept and doesn't smell like your typical Nail salon. All the nail techs do a wonderful detailed job. They're wonderful to talk with and their English is incredible. I enjoy my every other Saturday spending time with them getting my nails polished. I've been trying to find a new salon and heard great things about this place but it was a huge disappointment. The people were very nice (honestly some of the friendliest nail techs I've met), but it was clear my tech wasn't sure what she was doing. For the first time in over a year, my nails began chipping within days. Even the day of, nails got scuffed up not long after leaving. And for the price they charge this is actually absurd. I guess it depends on who does your nails. The pedicure hurt and my finger nails were done during the pedicure. I think she might have needed reading glasses as the polish on some finger nails only covered 75% of nail. I pointed that out but she wouldn't correct it. Manicurist beside her said, without looking It's ok, polish shouldn't touch cuticle. Not only didn't it touch the cuticle it didn't cover 25% of the nail. I lived with it that way for 2 weeks. I was in a rush and tired so I didn't complain any further but I won't go back. Also.... the supposedly "organic" 2 week nail polish ruined my nails. When I removed it after 2 weeks the nails started peeling and splitting. read more

Went in for a fill Friday night with my roommate who was getting a pedicure right before close. The staff was so courteous and attentive and didn't rush us out the door because they close at 7. I can't remember for the life of me the name of the woman who did my nails, it might be Lisa? Not sure but she has a cute short bob with red highlights and she did SUCH an amazing job. I asked for almond shaped nails and she worked slowly and diligently shaping them to perfection. I was also going to get a light baby pink color on my nails and she talked me into a slate purple gray color gel polish, and she didn't charge extra because I was a first time client. Exceptional customer service. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, it's crazy. This place is amazing. Not only were they rude, they made me sit there (when they knew I was on a schedule before a BIG event), they also kept leaving to go say hi to some friends that stopped in. Honestly, their service was TERRIBLE and the manicure didn't even look great but that is NOTHING compared to the HORROR STORY that I have been experiencing for the past year......... I woke up at 5 AM the morning after my pedicure in incredible pain. My toes were ACHING and throbbing with pain. I ran to the bathroom and saw that all of my toes were RED AND SWOLLEN. Pus had even began to form. I was shocked.. I had never once experienced this before at any salon. My feet were beautiful and the picture of health before this. For OVER A YEAR now, I have dealt with painful infection and ingrown toenails, and foot procedures all because of the ROUGH and QUESTIONABLY UNCLEAN conditions at this salon. I doubt my feet will ever look beautiful again and I pray that the pain stops eventually.. This has been a nightmare of a year between the insurance companies, doctor and podiatrist appointments, foot treatments, multiple medications, and emotional and physical pain. PLEASE DON"T GO HERE. TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO SOMEWHERE WHO TAKES PROPER CARE OF FEET AND IS COMPLETELY CLEAN. I have been going to Salon D'elegance for about six years now and I have only great things to say. The Salon is a run by a family of female entrepreneurs and they are kick-ass at it. Each of them get to know their clients very well and have developed a strong relationship with many. They are focused on you taking care of your body and are not a place that pushes products or packages just to sell. They will tell you what you need to do in order to achieve healthy nails and will help you do it. When I first started coming to them I did not have strong healthy nails at all and my go-to was gel. While they offer gel and it works for many of their clients, it was not right for me as I would peal the gel off whenever I was stressed or they started to chip. The women at Salon D'elegance suggested I try Dazzle Dry (an all natural polish) instead. I did and I never looked back! The polish itself lasts 2.5-3 weeks on my nails and has made my nails very strong to the point where I have them a bit longer now. My co-workers and friends have all commented on how great my nails always look and cannot believe they are real/not gel. I love all the women who work there, but I have developed bond with Diane and Lin in-particular and are a main reason why my nails are as great as they are today. The women who run this and work there really take pride in their craft and also their customers. They have built a successful business that is focused around the client and their needs. This was my first time at Salon D'elegance. At the advice of friends, I decided to give it a try. I went in for a pedicure. The quality of the pedicure ended up being fine but the hospitality of the staff was not great if you're not a regular. As an example, I was left sitting in my chair for 10 minutes while my pedicurist checked on regulars. And, as my pedicure got underway, she continued to get up and down at least 6 times to start the treatment of new regulars entering the salon. This made the overall treatment disjointed and very mediocre. I won't be giving this salon another try. My regular salon is simply leaps and bounds better. read more

Everyone is so friendly and personable, and will make sure you leave happy with your nails every single time. (It is pretty impossible to leave unhappy, because they do such an incredible job!) Everything from the cuticle cleaning, to nail shaping, to the polish application is flawless, and there are also a lot of colors and variety of types of polish to choose from! I have been here a few times for mani/pedi's. Their pedicures are excellent; the manis are usually good. The reason for my 3 star review: the last time I went, I arrived early to have my gel nails wrapped. I was seen almost thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time: no apologies were offered and, though I asked a few times when I'd be seen, was always told "soon". Because my nails were wrapped for so long, they started to break within two days and continued to do so for a month. Also, my cuticles have never been trimmed here nor has there been an offer to do so. I usually go to another salon and only go here when my other one is booked. D'Elegance is always clean and attractive. However, they should consider removing the cup, filled with cigarette butts, from their main entrance steps. read more

I love these ladies! I have been going to them for almost 3 years. Everytime I get my nails done, it's like having a girls night with your sisters. They keep you laughing. They are sassy and fun. The color selection is great. My gel nails last a good three weeks, sometimes even a month. I brought a friend and she said she's never see the colors displayed so nicely.
