Okay. I went here because of reviews on Yelp. I'll do pros and cons here... Pros: It was easy to book an appointment online for same day. Someone had mentioned parking is a problem, but there is a parking lot and there were plenty of spaces. I was taken on time. The technician was very sweet and pleasant. Cons: I'd scheduled an appointment for a gel manicure, but the technician suggested dipping powder. I told her I'd done that in the past but it turned out lumpy and thick. She said she'd do it thin and make them look natural. She didn't do anything with my cuticles, and in my experience, that's always part of a manicure. She was rough with the drill, and cut me on 2 fingers at the cuticles. She shaped them unevenly. The powder, now that I'm looking at the nails in the car, is lumpy. Maybe someone else in the salon would do a better job, but I won't return. read more

I've had appointments with both Lucy and Cindy and both ladies are wonderful! I have not had a single bad experience since I started going to this salon. The store is clean and all staff are friendly. Parking can sometimes be annoying (but that's not their fault). I recently switched from doing dip manicures to liquid gel and Cindy walked me through the pros/cons of liquid gel vs acrylic in a way that was easy for me to understand! My current liquid gel set has lasted 3 weeks so far with no lifting/chipping and I could probably push it to 4 weeks but my nails grow too fast. This evening, I visited Pretty in Polish for the first time, and it was a five-star experience all around! First, we called ahead and the staff were able to accommodate my husband and I for two basic pedicures. Our technicians were professional, kind, and they delivered standout service. They did not rush and were highly attentive to our individual needs. I noted that my husband's technician gave extra care to his feet and calluses, utilizing extra tools (like the electric file) to tend to him. Also, the little details that I noticed were standout: There is a very diverse array of nail polish to choose from, and they are meticulously organized -- they have a filing system of sorts (each polish is labeled and arranged accordingly). They also utilize a packet of sterilized + one-time use tools for each customer. The foot baths utilize disposable liners. I even noted that the technicians would wash their hands in between each client. PPE (gloves, masks) are in use. Our service ran into closing time, and I noted that the staff are VERY clean and thorough in their closing/cleaning procedures. To add- despite the fact that our service ran into closing time, we never felt rushed. Another perk is that customers receive a punch card! I've been searching for a good nail salon with knowledgeable nail technicians since I moved here in Framingham for almost 4 years! Yes, 4 years! I've tried even going to surrounding cities/towns but always came home disappointed. I'm so glad I tried this place. Since it's new, they don't have too many pictures online. I've read the few reviews they have and I'm so glad that I went there to try it. This place is clean, comfortable, and has friendly staff. My pedicure from Lyn was excellent. I feel that it was one of the best pedis I've had in years. Her foot massage is definitely the best! As for my manicure, Kelly took care of me. She removed my dipped mani carefully and did a great job doing a regular mani on me as you can see in my pictures. Overall, I really like this place and definitely will go back again! read more

Traveling for business, I broke a nail on the way to the airport. Pretty in Polish was very close to my hotel and they were able to get me an early appointment. They were able to very closely match the dip color of my nails, and had my nail fixed done in about 10 minutes. The shop is cheery and clean, and the nail technicians are very friendly. Super nice people. Clean enough. Went for a regular acrylic fill, but left with 6 of ten nails bleeding. Like, really bleeding. The manicurist came at me with nail glue to stop the bleeding. I called the next day, since my nails were still sore from the cuticle "buffing," and the guy who answered the phone apologized but didn't have much to say...I told him that nail glue (unlike surgical glue) probably wasn't the best idea to treat open, bleeding cuticles that needed cleaning/sterilizing and bandaging. (Within a few days, the cuticles were all scabbed up and gross.) I feel badly because, again, very very nice people. Great colors to choose from. Easy online booking. I've been actively looking for another place to go but today was the straw that broke the camel's back after he was very rude to me over the phone, yet again, asking me if I'm going to "make sure" I make my appointment! He said I was late or didn't show up for every appointment I've made. He's out of his mind! He must be doing drugs. I told him I'll be taking my money elsewhere and he can go shove it. He can't find very good help either. Workers don't stay at this place and it just opened a few months ago. What does that tell you? Poor management! He won't be in business long. The other shop was often quite rude, in a hurry, and was able to somehow do what they called a pedicure in under 20 minutes. I had had enough and looked for another place. this shop is professional, clean, friendly,kind and the services are superb. I was excited to try this place because people have been raving about them. I booked a pedicure and at first they moved my appointment 15 minutes back because they said my tech was stuck in traffic. That was fine no worries. I get to the salon and they had me soaking for 30 minutes before my tech even came over, she was doing someone's manicure...i thought she was stuck in traffic?? She cut and pulled the sides of BOTH my big toes. I thought oh maybe I have hang nails I didn't know about this morning I got woken up at 5:30AM with a pain that is THROBBING, she filed down my big toe too much and now it hurts. I was serviced at this salon twice. The 1st ime was an awesome experience but the 2nd time was horrible. The first time was so good that I came back again but the second time was nothing like the 1st. I had two different nail techs; one for my gel pedicure and one for my dip manicure. The lady who did my pedicure cut my toes while removing the previous gel. She was very rough when trying to scrape it off and left me wounded around the cuticles. The lady who did my nails was equally rough. She suggested an almond shaped for my natural nails which I was excited to try (something different). She raked my nails so hard with the nails file to get the almond shape that she cut almost every finger on the side. A couple of days later I had a pus filled bubble on one of my fingers that was an infection. After 10 days of antibiotics, the infection is gone but the trauma is still there. I will not go back here and I'm extremely nervous to have my nails done again somewhere else. Be careful with this establishment. read more
