Never have I gotten a gel manicure for $25... I promptly lowered my expectations, but was pleasantly surprised when Amy took her time and made sure to get my nails perfect. She worked on my cuticles for probably 15 minutes, including using a remover, pushing them back, cutting them, using an oil, etc... She buffed and filed my nails well and made sure that my polish was extra dry before applying lotion. Thanks Amy for an awesome, inexpensive manicure! I get my nails done in boston but popped in to get my gel nail polish removed quickly - usually takes my lady 5 min tops. They started usint acetone and I tried to tell them no this type of polish just buzzes off and they ignored me - used acetone which took way too long and shocker didn't work they had to buzz it off which then made them buzz off my nail itself - charged me for dip removal? and a full manicure when all she did was trim my cuticle - the nails broke in the car and the entire thing cost all most as much as my Gel X full manicure IN THE CITY! I didnt want to say anything cause they already were annoyed at me about the removal (which I was right about) I will not be returning read more

Fashion Nails - you can see the place where it will break in 30 seconds - Nail Salons Near Me - Natick, Massachusetts

I booked a $50 acrylic full set and a $20 acrylic removal. The removal consisted of the tech using an extra tip to pry every nail off. They were older, 2 were mostly gone, and some were ready to come off easily, but they were all removed the same quick and cheap way in under a minute despite paying $20 for a service that would protect my natural nails more I was a little dissapointed/put off, but had a date the next day and went ahead because I wanted my nails done for it She glued tips on before fully removing what was left of my last set, which I thought was odd, but when I asked she assured me she would drill it off after the new tips were attached My biggest concern was/is this though: Her application of the acrylic bead was very liquidy, (after application she put my bare acrylics under a nail lamp for no reason, acrylic air dries) and any sort of apex she formed was e-filed away. My thumbnail, specifically, was efiled to the point of mild pain in my nail bed THROUGH the acrylic when she was using the efile over it (nail pictured) The tips are likely thicker than the nail beds at this point and that is incredibly dangerous for my nail beds. Acrylic is a brittle material and will snap, that is why the apex is an important part of an acrylic nail. Without it, these nails are likely to snap at where the apex was supposed to be (highest point of stress). Which is in the middle of the nail bed, meaning half my natural nail could go with it when it breaks. she also did a final light hand file on all the nails after applying gel color, even on nails that didnt need it she made sure to give a couple swipes of the file. The nail shape was okay, it only made the edges' color look messier TL:DR The tech cut corners on best practice for a $20 acrylic removal, put bare acrylics in the uv lamp, and didnt know or purposefully ignored the first rule of safe acrylic nail structure. (Putting me at risk of a severe natural nail injury) Im hoping the tech who did my nails was just in training for acrylics and not maliciously doing these things. (Based on the uv lamp on bare acrylics) I just wish Id have known if that was the case, I wouldve paid more attention and talked to her more instead of assuming anything I did notice would all be fixed by the end Also, she added $2 to the bill, so it came out to $72 total. Im not going to push the issue as its just $2, but there was no zero reasonable cause to upcharge me at all. Especially when the removal service was done the easiest, most damaging way. There's no tax on this in Massachusetts, so thats not it. I tipped about %20, all cash and didnt complain because Im not a confrontational person, but I would not recommend this nail salon. read more

I got my nails done in October 2024 couple days before i went on a.vacation w/a friend i had not gotten my nails done in years .but my friend said let's do it for old time sake. was a last minute thing..place was busy , nail tech was hurrying she was very rough, i noticed she was using another technician's tools and wasn't sure if they were clean or not . I had asked her she just shook her head yes. Over all i was glad she was done. 3 days later while in my trip my nail cubicle was all red and had a little cut .and sore, got home from my trip was rushed to the hospital, and found out i had a staphylococcus infection, went to my blood.says cause by a small cut from having nails done and most likely from dirty utensils from nail salons. Reason why i am posting this now People need to be careful and check to make sure these places are sanitized everything . Or this can happen to you, i almost lost my life . read more

This was my third visit since November. Dip manicures all three times. The first two manicures were perfect. Perfect color, perfect shape. Long lasting. The third manicure was so bad I won't be going back. Everything was rushed. Wrong combination of components were used (different from the first two times) in that the top coat completely peeled off after 36 hours. The color was wrong, and not what I asked for. My cuticles were left bleeding in more than one location. Worst of all, due to the dip cracking (which didn't happen with the first two manicures), I had to have everything removed. I was told that my nails are so damaged from over abrading the surface that I will have to wait for complete new growth before I can get them manicured again. read more

I do not recommend this place. The first time I went here I got dip. It chipped within 3 days. I came back in and they agreed to fix them without a charge. The woman fixed them and after told me that it was the color. If it was the color, why didn't you say anything when I picked it or when you fixed it? She said next time we will do it better. I gave them another chance and saw someone different this time. The gel was chipping after a week. I have never had that happen anywhere before. They were nice there but they don't do a good job. read more

What on earth did I just experience?! I got to Fashion Nails at 9:30 this morning (Wednesday) and asked for a new set of dip nails. I waited a full half hour before I started to get nervous and crack/remove my own nails. Finally someone came over to put the acetone on what was left of my nails. Finally someone else came over to remove the acetone/old dip, at which point I said "I don't have time for the dip, can I just get a manicure with no polish?" and he said he didn't even have time for that. I was astonished. He said "that will be $10" (sign says $5) and that was the end of my service. Don't have a sign that says "walk ins welcome" if we are indeed unwelcome. Or at least tell someone no so they don't wait a full hour and get nothing out of it. I could have ripped them off myself for free. What an unorganized mess. **i don't know how to reply so I'm just editing: I'm not mad about the wait time. I also work in the service industry. I'm mad about the complete lack of communication and the disrespect of being told I could get a manicure and then essentially being thrown out after only a removal. I work with my hands and I need hard nails to do my job. I'm extremely disappointed and will continue to tell people not to come to you guys. Shame on me for trying a new place. read more

So after reading a lot of reviews My husband I decided to do a pedicure and mani . Let me go first with pedicures( which is what we both liked the most ) We took the spa deluxe . It was amazing , done patiently . Cleaning , scrubbing , the cuticles removing , applying hot towel etc was amazing . No complaints . Nail paint job , not great? Below average and charges way extra for normal nail polish ,m Now the manicure - my husband said it was okay . Mine - I wanted a poly gel extension which they didn't have and did the normal acrylic extensions. Way too much rushed . My cuticle removing was a pain. , did nothing like you do for a normal mani . Just attach the acrylic nails and start off . The way she way using the drilling machine( I guess that's what it's called ) it was so bad and was hurting badly . The nails looks okay but for 50$ I was expecting way better . Nope not worth the money spend read more

My mom and I have been coming here for years and after trying a different place today I realize that this is really the best nail salon we've been to, service wise and quality wise. Fashion nails has loyally served me and my mom for so long, I'm always satisfied with my nails when I get them done with Katie or Daniel, and I've heard great things about Mai. Keep in mind, the reason the wait is often long is because they are SO popular, because of how good they are! So be forewarned you will probably have to wait, or come back later, but this is a good sign. This place is also so clean and great looking. Update: we came for Mother's Day and my mom got the ombré dip and it looked AMAZING. Daniel is so awesome. We are so welcome and treated so well here. Can't express how much we appreciate fashion nails! Always give us the best service. read more

I've beeN going here off and on since I moved to Framingham 3 yrs ago. At first I loved them but now the Quality of work is absolutely ridiculous! For instance, I got a gel full 4 chipped within a couple of days, went to get them fixed only to return the same day to get the same nails repaired. 2 days later the same thing happens. After i go back to get what yet snothet nail fixed I won't ever go back! read more

This place is terrible. I go here every once in awhile to get my acrylics done. They were in a huge rush and didnt take time to pay attention to my nails. I got a simple medium short length set with a plain gel color and they charged me $58. They then proceeded to ask me which method I will be using to tip. After only a few days two of my nails fell off and the gel polish was chipping incredibly??? I went back to get them fixed and got just a color change and two nails mind you I had already taken the previous polish off the acrylics. They charged me $30 and I tipped $10 since I hadnt tipped much my previous visit. After 2 days of the new polish several nails are chippong when I got gel???? I will not be returning to this nail salon ever. read more

Started seeing Mai at Fashion nails a few months ago after my previous nail technician left the salon I went to. Mai has done my nails 3 times now and they look great and they last. I went in to get a nice mani pedi before I leave for a trip tomorrow, my pedicure was great. My manicure on the other hand absolutely horrendous. I would've been better off getting press on nails. The guy was rushing when there was no one waiting. Cut not one but three fingers which is painful. Filed my nails horribly which had totally different shapes, didn't paint the whole nail and left paint all over my fingers. Before I paid I told the lady how bad they looked and she said of this oil will fix it all.. I knew for a fact this oil would not so I paid and left with these awful nails. Usually places would try and fix it for you but they don't seem to care about their customers just the money coming in. I wanted pretty nails for my trip but left with nails that look like my 8 year old cousin did and now I don't have time to get them fixed elsewhere. I used to be a fan of fashion nails, but over the past year have been highly disappointed and can say I won't be returning. read more

I would not recommend this place to anybody...not even my worst enemy. I got a pedicure...and with it I also got glass in my foot. They cleaned it up and put a bandaid on my foot but it really ruined the whole experience for me. My daughter got her first set of acrylic nails....they were done so poorly that I just took her to another salon to have them fixed. It ended up costing me $55 to have them fixed somewhere else. What a waste of money! I will never ever be back to this establishment. The people that work there seem to have lost their passion for the job... nothing but a sad miserable vibe! Now I am praying that my foot doesn't become infected by God only knows what. Getting a cut near the foot spas/baths is very dangerous! read more

Not impressed. Won't go back. The nail technician was WAY too distracted. She asked if I wanted my nails cut or filed. I said filed. What does she do? Picks up the clippers and starts clipping. The gel on my thumb ended up getting glued to my skin because she didn't take care of it properly. She made a mistake on my French manicure on a finger, tried to fix it, but did a poor patch job. She also left polish on other parts of my hand. For my pedicure, she asked which one I wanted, I told her. Did she listen? No. She did a more expensive one. So not impressed. read more

Unfortunately you get what you pay for. While the staff is really nice and they have a great selection of polishes; my dip powder nails chipped within the first week and daughter's gel chipped after 3 days. To be sanitary; they should pour the powder into a smaller container and dip your nails from that rather than use the same original container for everyone. read more

I feel bad giving bad reviews, but this was a waste of my money. I never treat myself to beauty services. So I was terribly disappointed when I had a terrible gel manicure. Everyone was pleasant and polite. However, the salon needs to be cleaned! Everything was filthy and so cramped. There were so many customers and workers in there......I just don't know if Covid protocols were being observed. There was plexiglass between myself and the nail tech, but I just didn't feel comfortable as everything needed to be washed. The upholstery on the chairs was so filthy I cringed sitting down. I should of left but my daughter was already mid pedicure and I didn't want to make a scene. The UV light/dryer things you put your hand in between each coat of polish were so dirty. It was like they had never been wiped down......never mind sterilized. Everything......I mean everything was dirty. I could of maybe overlooked the lack of cleanliness of the place if I liked my manicure, but I can't even do that. My gel manicure was terrible. It is so thick that it's weird looking. Snagged edges and whole sides pulling up. When we first walked in a nice man gave us color samples to pick from. The didn't have that color (or the color my daughter picked) or 5 more I picked out. So the technician said she would "make" me a color I'd like. Well, it wasn't close to what I wanted. I originally picked a mauve pinkish with a slight sheen to it. It was nothing like the one she made for me. I wish I could be happier about my experience but I can't find any positives other than they were polite. Sorry to do this. I just don't want anyone wasting their hard earned money. read more

Great spot for mani/pedi. Walked in on a Sunday--Mother's Day even--without and an appointment. And I sat down in the chair for a pedicure within 5 minutes of arriving. They are busy but managing it very well. The salon is clean and bright. Very relaxing. They have lots of options from basic to all the frills. Not too expensive. Nails and waxing. Nice massage with my pedicure. She did a great job--meticulous on the cuticles and polish. Definitely will be back. read more

I have been coming here for YEARS and recently the service and quality has been seriously lacking. Every time I have come here recently I have had an appointment and have still had to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour because they take so many walk-ins. The quality of the manicures is poor as well. Gel lasts half the time it normally does, dip was uneven, and manicures overall feel rushed. I'm honestly disappointed in the downward spiral of this salon because it used to be my absolute favorite. read more

Terrible customer service! I was in Sunday to get a fill with gel polish and I had noticed that the man doing my nails did not use a top coat. About 5-6 days later I noticed the polish was starting to peel off which has never happened to me in the 3 years that I have been getting acrylics with gel polish done. I am assuming that the nail polish must have been old or expired. I called earlier this morning to ask if I could come in to have the service fixed and asked if they would be able to change the polish considering it was peeling on pretty much each nail. I talked to Daniel on the phone and he said it was no problem. I went in the afternoon and one of the employees changed the polish and then proceeded to tell me that I owed $23. I was under the assumption that I was going for a correction I didn't know I would be paying for a service. I went back and forth and explained that I am not rough on my nails and it did not seem fair to me that I would be paying for this new service even though I was in 6 days prior and already paid $40. They said that it would not have been a charge if they fixed the polish was fixed but since it was removed and repolished they needed to charge me. However, nobody explained this to me prior which I found to be unfair. Also, each nail had polish peeling so they would need to have replaced the polish anyways.Daniel also stayed silent through all of this, even though he was the one I spoke to over the phone which really made me more upset. No one even apologized for the misunderstanding. Once again, customer service. After being a loyal client for years, I will NOT be returning after this experience! read more
