I moved to Framingham from Newton last year, but kept going to my salon in Newton because they did such a great job. However, my favorite nail tech left, so I decided to find a place in Framingham. Based on Yelp reviews, I made an appointment with Michael at Nail Time and More. Booking online was very easy. What a great job he did. I wanted gel - a French manicure with a particular color for the base. Michael accommodated me. He was very careful to be sure that all of the nails were the same length and shape, and the French manicure is perfect. I believe I have found my new nail salon! read more

I rarely write reviews, but I had such a good experience here. Took me right away at my appt time, and my mom's appt was a half hour later but they took her at the same time too so we could chat. My nail tech, Maya, was incredible. She did a great job and also was very personable and understood that I was a newbie and nervous about having nails that were too long for me. I went for a fill for my acrylic nails. They were very grown out since it had been about 6 weeks since my last one. I normally drive to Medfield from Framingham because I have a place there I prefer but with car problems I thought I would try a closer place. Making the appointment was quick and easy. I did it online and felt comfortable until I arrived and realized that maybe they didn't understand what I was requesting. I showed pictures and continued to describe the shape and length I wanted and the nail tech kept saying "oh okay" or "I'll fix that in the next part". I felt like she understood me as I asked to have my nails shortened but not completely trimmed off. My anxiety continued as I watched her file them down over and over, still telling me she would fix it when I told her I wanted them longer. I guess she didn't understand me still until I said it the last time and she laughed at me and said "you said you wanted them shorter" My natural nails were trimmed down so far, hardly anything extends past my finger tips. At this point I'm not sure why I paid to get a fill when she just took off all the length. I'm extremely upset she didn't take me seriously. I didn't want her to paint them but I also didn't want to have the acrylic showing as that isn't pretty either. My business is named after my nails, this is not a joke. I also stim by sliding my nails under each other as a way to cope with anxiety. My nails are too short now to do that. I've gotten them done for years and I've never been so sad. I think it was a language barrier issue but in the end, I'm the customer and I didn't get what I wanted. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I took my daughter and the woman that did her nails was kind. I will not be returning and I will be telling others about my experience. I have learned my lesson. read more

I took a chance on this place because I needed a manicure to get rid of my old gel. It was walking distance from my bf's apartment so off I went. when I walked in there were a couple people in there so I walked in and was greeted immediately. I asked for a gel manicure and the woman asked if I wanted a pedicure too. Because I wasn't in a rush, I decided to do both. It was nice to dip my feet in warm water on a cold winter day and the walk over made me easily persuaded. The woman who started my pedicure let me sit in the chair while she wrapped my nails. She took her time on my pedi before the second woman came back to remove my gel polish. She then stayed to paint my nails and also finished my gel mani. I've given this place a try a few times but I will not be going back! I went in to get a pedicure before vacation. My toes look okay but I'm disgusted by the experience I had. Everything was okay until woman was done massaging my legs and feet. She used damp warm towels to wipe the oil/ lotion off. She then walked over to the sink, rinsed the towels and the proceeded to put the same towels she had just used on me back into the towel warmer... WHAT? At this point I wanted to get up and leave but I didn't want to make a scene so I just kept looking at my phone. She then proceeded to paint my toes. While she was finishing, I noticed the cart with everything she had just used on me was now being used by the nail tech next to her.... Cuticle nippers, scrub brush, foot file etc. All without being cleaned. GROSS! I only saw them use the nippers on her before I got up to dry. I sat for 2 minutes to dry but I was so grossed out I had to get up and leave. After I got home I decided to call and speak to the owner because this was not okay. I explained what had happened and in reply I got "can you come back and I will fix it for you?" I'm sorry? I'm NEVER going back. And how can you "fix" that. I wasn't expecting on getting anything out of the phone call, but a sorry would have been nice! 30minutes later I got a phone call from the manager asking me about what happened. I told her that I had explained the entire situation to who I thought was the owner. She said they never use dirty towels on customers and use clean sanitized tools on everyone. Okay maybe you do... most of the time... but I'm telling you what I saw. I feel like I need to scrub my feet after just getting a pedicure. read more
