    Skin lacerated.

My daughter scheduled a regular pedicure with a gel manicure with a quoted price of $78- and a regular pedicure and a a dip manicure with a quoted price of $90- for an 11:30 am appointment for the two of us. We were seated for the pedicures upon arrival. My pedicure started promptly, however my daughter sat with no service and cold water in her foot basin while mine was completed. There was no massage what so ever to my feet or calves which is the best part of a spa treatment. Once my pedicure was done, I had to wait a half hour while they took a walk in manicure. During the wait, I observed that there wasn't any sanitation of the tools used in between clients. After the wait, my manicure began and my daughter finally got her pedicure started. The technician she had was very inexperienced and appeared to be of teenage years along with a sloppy application. Two of my fingers were lacerated around my cuticles from the used tools. Finally upon check out, she charged me $105- not the $90- quoted and my daughters charge $88- not the $78- quoted. This place overbooks, over charges and is not sanitary. Need I say more?

The salon I've gone to for the last 10 years changed ownership and I needed a change. Iris was close to home and had some good reviews- and a free parking lot- so I gave it a shot. Got a slightly upgraded pedi with some callus removal (they have several options) and a gel mani. I get a gel mani every 3 weeks so I know what to expect. Great experience. I had an appointment and they ran a bit late- they acknowledged it and I wasn't in a hurry. Everyone was friendly. Manicure was great. Because they ran a bit late, another nail tech started on my hand while my pedicure was being done. The salon was very clean. The gel manicure was pretty standard- except they provide a paraffin wax hand treatment at the end and a neck massage. Both felt great. My gel mani lasted 3 weeks and I have since returned for another. They have a loyalty program- get your card marked each time you have a service. I definitely found a new salon.

So happy with my nails and toes. Lovely people, salon, very accommodating. My new place too go. Thanks so much.

Thanks again for my lovely nails. Such a relaxing comfortable salon and the ladies that make it happen.

Love coming here! I have been coming for years. They are so kind and great at what they do. I see Bin and highly recommend her! Great atmosphere and people :)

To clarify, I knocked one star off for fat shaming customers in Chinese, one star off for the rushed service, one star off for being racist, and another star off for not being too pleased with my nails. Okay so I came in here with my friend to try out a new nail salon and Rebecca was the one who did my nails. The whole process was incredibly rude and rushed with a lack of care. I was out within 30 minutes because Rebecca applied thick coats of gel to get it over with and she was rushing the nail tech (Amy?) to complete my friend's set faster. During our time here, 2 more customers walked in (not sure with an appointment or not), so there's around 4 customers in the salon with me and my friend included. They didn't know that I understood Chinese so I was able to understand the conversation. Rebecca rushed Amy as well because she said that the "fat customer" who came in is a talker and will be here forever. There was a clear disparity in the way they treated the white customers versus me and my friend who were both Asian. Rebecca was acting kind in a fake manner, but she referred to the customers who came in by their body types even though she knew their names since they appear to be regulars at the salon. Going back to my nails, she wanted to get me and my friend out of there asap because they want to get to the next customer, which is fair. I would be able to understand it if they provided equal and adequate service. My nails are fundamentally alright, but the coats of gel is uneven and lumpy. There's also bubbles on my nails which is apparent on some of my fingers as you can see in the photos. Additionally on my right pointer finger, she did not apply the coat well and you can still see through it. The fact that the lines aren't clean is unacceptable for a professional nail tech. Overall, my nails look okay from far away, like from a distance of one foot for example. Honestly, I feel like I could have done the same job at home :/ In the end, I kept one star because the price was decent for what it is ($30 + $5 tip with card) and that she added an accent color on my ring finger. If you don't want a rushed job with a mean/racist nail tech, look elsewhere.

Bin is amazing and has been doing my nails for over a year! Cannot suggest Iris enough! she even did my engagement nails!

Pictured is what I asked for vs what I received. Please, if you are unable to provide a certain request just say that, rather than charging extra for a botched look. I have been coming to this place for a couple of years, usually leaving at least pretty satisfied. My dip manicure usually cost between $40-$55 which is very reasonable. The pictured set cost me $70 and it's not even close to what I asked for. I honestly would've rather been told this isn't a style that you could accommodate, and I would've picked something else. Very disappointed, will be getting my nails re-done elsewhere, very unlikely to return.

    Beautiful valentines nails!

Love this salon! They're attention to detail is amazing!! I came in with nails from a different salon and they completely fixed all the errors that the other salon had done. 100% recommend this nail salon!

Iris Nail Spa is the best salon in the area! Bin and her team are very professional, knowledgeable in nail care and truly exceed all expectations. Bin goes above and beyond with precision to ensure each client leaves happy. She always handles my nails with care, using quality products allowing them to remain strong and healthy during the dip powder service. Complimentary shoulder massages, warm paraffin wax dips and water bottles are a great perk! The salon is clean and welcoming, making for a very relaxing and pleasant experience. I would recommend making appointments in advance to ensure your preferred time, however they always welcome walk-ins and will try to accommodate. Good parking too. New management as of one year ago, please disregard any negative customer reviews prior since it was different owners! New management is amazing. I would highly recommend this salon! Thank you Bin for a delightful experience each and every time!

Since they've been taken over by new management over the summer they've slowly been going downhill. While they provide the same services and prices the quality and care is just not the same. The staff is a revolving door now which I just don't like in a salon. I enjoy going to the same person or couple of people who know what I like and can hold a conversation. They constantly rush and don't care to build a repor, manicures only taking 20 minutes. I also didn't appreciate there was no announcement of the new management. I was looking for my friends Young and Kevin, the previous owners, and they said they went on vacation when they actually sold the business. You can find them at their new location, Iris Nail & Spa in Westford.

My new go-to salon! I'm not from this area, so I've spent the last year trying to find a place to be my regular spot for nails without much luck... until now! The salon is very clean and the tools come directly out of sterile packaging, which is really important to me (and weirdly hard to come by with the last few places I've been to). For anyone who's seen A Promising Young Woman - I loved the manicure the actress had in the movie. That's what I asked Rebecca for today for my gel mani and she absolutely killed it! I couldn't be happier with how it came out. I got a pedicure a few weeks ago here, which was also amazing. Can't wait to come back next time!

You don't want to be the person mowed over when you need them, so I would avoid. I have dealt with this salon many times over the years. Usually, something happens and I take a break from them for a few years until they have a staff change. This go around, I had four progressively worse gel manis in a row. Unfortunately, the manicurists here don't have enough time to care about your natural nails. I don't know if the owner isn't allocating enough time for the service or they are letting other clients run late but the staff here always seem like they are rushing, especially with gel removals. That means they end up hacking away at your natural nails, which leaves them in progressively worse shape. After my last mani, my thumb nail ripped hours later when I reached into my pocket for dog poop baggies. There is also evidence of polish pooling at the cuticles with the nails grown out. It wasn't the best mani by a long shot and I'm sure the manicurist likely knew that. Ahead of a trip to the Berkshires, I booked a gel removal only for today. Appeared for my appointment 5 minutes early. The receptionist literally said that since I was just booked for removal, I could have a seat. I sat there for 20 minutes. During this time, some hyenas getting complicated nail art were harassing me for no good reason. I said nothing to them, but they were making appearance-related comments and laughing. In the past when running behind, the receptionist has called and texted to ask if it's okay to push my appointment back, but not today - I guess because it was "just" a removal. I'm currently the primary caregiver for an elderly relative who was with a paid caregiver during this time. I wasn't going to sit around all afternoon waiting for "just" a removal and also didn't want to continue having to listen to the hyenas. The receptionist had left her desk after checking me in and hadn't returned. No updates from anyone on staff. I walked out of the salon...and am left with a mess on my nails for a weekend at Tanglewood. Different people are of course treated differently. I watched a white family come into this salon once with the daughter having booked everyone at the wrong location. There were three of them and a packed salon but they still found a way to accommodate them on time. I've also seen whites come in for removals only and get served on time. And the logic of prioritizing high cost services doesn't math if you've been a loyal customer - having dropped hundreds over multiple visits - and you need the not-so-great work of one of this salon's manicurists off your nails. It's still "just" a removal??? All of the manicurists at this location have their pluses and minuses. Siobhan was wonderful when she worked here but no longer does. Francesca is the only person I would trust here these days but she's careful, which means that she's usually running behind. Also, her cuticle work isn't the best - they sometimes look a little more ragged after she works on them. Didn't have a good experience with Q. She really hacked up my nails doing a gel removal and she applied a subsequent gel polish too thick. Note about comments from the "manager": Thank you so much for reaching out directly to apologize for the poor service. (Wait--my mistake. That must've slipped your mind.) While we're celebrating great communication, you may have also overlooked the part where your receptionist wasn't at her desk. Small detail, I know. Just to clarify: I call out what I experience, which I'm fully entitled to do. You're certainly welcome to say everyone is treated well--when the appointment actually starts on time and the service runs as scheduled, like it did for the clients who walked in after me. And as for your records, they may want to double-check themselves--unless "waiting for someone to vacate the chair" now counts as part of the treatment time.
