Kathy is the best at Femi Nails , I've been going here for 5 years and I won't go to anyone else!

I have been a customer of Feminails for many years. However over the past few months I have noticed that the quality of their nail techs had gone WAY down. I just got a pedicure and the woman never even cleaned under my nails. She hardly cleaned any of the dead skin off my feet. The massage was rushed. Also Their dip had gotten so expensive that I've decided to stop doing my nails. After almost 30 yrs of going to Feminails I'm done read more

I've gotten dip manicure here twice already with Kathy and she is so patient. She always lets me test out different shades to make sure I really like that color which I appreciate. She is efficient and fast, and get the nails done very neatly. They have different types of services and also clean. I've only had friendly encounters so far. I will definitely be going back for more! read more

First time coming here, and happy with my manicure!! Showed some inspo pics for a coffin shape pink manicure with subtle ombré and ended up with pink to white ombré. A little more white than I initially wanted but it looks beautiful. Price was good too for everything I got done. Services included old acrylic removal, pink to white dip ombré with an added coffin tip. Only took a little over an hour too so pretty good! Will come back here! read more

How come it took 2.5 hours and 2 sessions to get a French tip gel manicure? I've come here before and it was fine but I'm sick and tired of the long times it takes to get my nails done and then they can't do the design I ask them to do. read more

I was able to get my nails done and a pedicure last minute with Kathy, she was gentle, precise and did exactly what I needed! I've been going here for years and usually see Van she's always given great service also! The owners are very kind and considerate to each persons needs and always remember your name! read more

I've been going to Feminails for years! Everyone is super friendly & nice! I go out of my way to come to this nail salon. I now get ombre gel nails with a design on my ring finger. Van is AMAZING. Thao is also great! Christine is also super, but in being an owner doesn't do nails as oftrn. There are so many other talented ladies, but these are my go to people. This is an amazing salon to get eyebrows and lip waxed as well. Christine & John are the wonderful owners. The vibe is very simplistic, but clean. They are constantly doing upgrades to have a great experience for their customers. This is a family owner business. They've been in business for over 20 years! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area and need a nail place! read more

I love Victoria!! She does a wonderful job at shaping my nails. She picked out this beautiful red color for me. And she is so kind to me. I hope to keep receiving her service! I recommend feminails on moody street. read more

I've been here three times. First two visits were completely fine and I felt like I was appropriately charged. My last appointment however, I was charged $26 more than the listed price online when I booked (only additional service was chrome powder) I also realized today that the woman who did my nails did not have clean tools, nor did she clean her tools after I was done - she packed up her tools and put them back in her draw. Will not be coming back, I can deal with being overcharged, but I'm not risking a nail infection. read more

The ladies are charming and do a perfect job. It was very relaxing and my toes look beautiful. Very friendly people.

If you are looking for a place that doesn't actually care for your nails and over charges for their services, Femi Nails is the place for you. I've given them many chances, but I am not impressed. If anyone knows of a salon that specializes in true nail care and CLEANLINESS, please let me know! read more

This place is awful!!! I had gel nails that needed to be filled. So I made an appt for Monday June 23rd. The person who did it cut my ring finger and pinky finger with the dremel. On Tuesday (the next day) on nail just peeled right off. Wednesday a second nail peeled off. By Friday 6 had peeled off. The other four are started to lift and peel. I called the salon to ask for a refund because I was so upset that not even a week later my hands looked awful. They wouldn't allow anything, just another chance to fix the nails. I said no, I don't want this to happen again. He said he couldn't do a refund, because you can't refund for labor. I paid $65 for the garbage "labor". I will never be going back there. And I have friends who go there that will also not be going back there. read more

Ivy is a gem! Not only does she give an excellent pedicure, she has great nail design ideas! Thank you, Ivy!

I went here for the first time and overall had a great experience! I made an appointment last minute with Vivian and showed up 20mins before to choose a color and they were able to take me right away. I love the way they turned out and since I paid in cash it was 41 instead of 43 for dip which was great! I recommend and Vivian was very nice as well. read more

I've been to most nail salons in Waltham. I just can't find a manicurist that is consistent with 10 fingers. Bumpy, not even length etc. this place takes the cake of Worst Ever! I called to have them redone and got an appt that I couldn't make and the guy who answered the phone when I had to reschedule, replied with "oh good!" Not to mention the manicurist (owner) threw my tip at the desk. I shouldn't have left her one, but 20% was I left for such a horrible experience. read more

I came here once they did an okay job which some of the nails were uneven and not smooth but it was hard to see these flaws unless you really looked at my right hand. So I went back today and it was the most horrible experience ever. I asked for a French and got basically half the mail in French. And on top when I asked her to stop and please take off she said she would file my nails. What! I ended up paying full price and left before she was done. I will never go there again. *Do NOT go here for a Dazzle Dry manicure* I was very excited to try the Dazzle Dry system after reading about it being a good alternative to gel. I did get gel manicures for years, but the removal process severely damaged my nails. This salon was one of the few local salons that has Dazzle manicures listed on their website, and I was eager to give it a try. These manicures are designed to last up to 2 weeks IF APPLIED PROPERLY. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when the very next day major chips and peeling began. I also noticed rippling of polish the day of. I was so surprised that I visited Dazzle's website to investigate. It seems this Polish system should not be used with a fan (my technician had me use a fan), as this causes rippling. I can only guess the cause of the chipping and peeling of polish, but it seems either improper application or contaminated/expired product is to blame. As I said, this was my first time trying this type of manicure, so I am unfamiliar with the steps involved and trusted the technician to be familiar with it as this is one of few local salons that list this manicure as a service. I would've been better off getting a regular manicure. On the positive side- I was greeted immediately upon arriving and was in and out quickly. UPDATE: I've included updated photos on Saturday evening after a Thursday afternoon manicure. Just don't bother with the Dazzle Dry here. read more

Been coming here for about 3 years but I've only gotten my nails done 7 times in those 3 years. Every time I come here I have to pray that they properly shape my nails. I always have a nail or nails that are crooked or not sized correctly and it honestly sucks. I always pay $65-70 including tips, only to get rewarded with upsetting results. The nail results have gotten worse over the years. I just wish they had better shaping and they were less thick and bulky. I got my graduation nails done but before picking the design I wanted (French tip nails) I asked the woman if she could make them look exactly the same. She said yes but they turned out completely different. But I do think that the workers are nice and kind but sometimes they shout at you when you ask them to repeat something one time. The quality of this nail salon just keeps getting worse. When I first went, I remember how good they were and how long they lasted (about a month and a half) but they just look terrible. They last less then 3 weeks for me now. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the location is so convenient. However, after going twice, I can say the experience is subpar at best. First, the salon is dirty. There are holes in the walls. The floor os missing in some spots. I had to ask the manicurist to clean the half-empty juice boxes off of her station before starting my nails. I can't see it being sanitary. But second, both times I went here my gel manicure and pedicure chipped after only 2-3 days. I definitely won't be back. read more

This is my first time coming to this place and it won't be my last! I'm not used to getting my nails done by others (i usually just paint them myself and have never gotten dip or acrylics). I'm a bit of a perfectionist and even the nail tech could tell i was nervous . The whole time she told me not to worry and to trust her. She told me it would come out just like the picture I showed her, and it did! Great service. I'll be coming back and this will be my new go-to spot. read more

I have been coming to Feminails since I moved to Waltham 5 years ago and I've never been compelled to write a review until this week. I had a dip manicure done by Van and IT IS PERFECT. I've had 2 others done here and they were just okay - a little thick for my liking. Van was meticulous the entire time she was doing my nails and she sanded them down so that they are not super thick and they actually feel natural on my nails. I literally can't stop looking at them because I am just so happy with how they came out. If you're looking to get a dip manicure, go to Feminails and ask for Van - you won't be disappointed!! read more

Disappointing first time coming here. I made an appointment for two gel manicures with a friend of mine who I don't see often (thinking we would be sitting next to each other) and they sat us in separate rooms - which isn't a huge deal based on who was available to do our nails but definitely disappointing. I picked a really pretty blue color polish and the woman doing my nails brought over a different shade of blue polish because she couldn't find the one I wanted. It wasn't a bad color but she barely spoke English so I told her it was fine. The manicure was rushed and there are a lot of imperfections in the nails (random bubbles, messy edges, not enough coverage of the polish even though she went over my nails 3 times). I am not satisfied with how they look and will not be coming back here again. Overall wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

Pros: could get a manicure as a walk in; fast service Cons: poor quality service - as fast as it was there was a lack of attention to detail and the tech didn't even acknowledge me as I left her a tip (not to mention that the tip wasn't for quality of service but just for seeing me. I could have painted my own nails for the quality of work she did. Genuinely terrible.). Though they could take me as a walk in, they treated it as if it was a favor because they were busy. If you're too busy to treat me with respect and provide a quality service, you're too busy to take me as a customer. Won't be back. read more
