I've been going to Feminails for years! Everyone is super friendly & nice! I go out of my way to come to this nail salon. I now get ombre gel nails with a design on my ring finger. Van is AMAZING. Thao is also great! Christine is also super, but in being an owner doesn't do nails as oftrn. There are so many other talented ladies, but these are my go to people. This is an amazing salon to get eyebrows and lip waxed as well. Christine & John are the wonderful owners. The vibe is very simplistic, but clean. They are constantly doing upgrades to have a great experience for their customers. This is a family owner business. They've been in business for over 20 years! My last appointment however, I was charged $26 more than the listed price online when I booked (only additional service was chrome powder) I also realized today that the woman who did my nails did not have clean tools, nor did she clean her tools after I was done - she packed up her tools and put them back in her draw. Will not be coming back, I can deal with being overcharged, but I'm not risking a nail infection. read more

This place is awful!!! I had gel nails that needed to be filled. So I made an appt for Monday June 23rd. The person who did it cut my ring finger and pinky finger with the dremel. On Tuesday (the next day) on nail just peeled right off. Wednesday a second nail peeled off. By Friday 6 had peeled off. The other four are started to lift and peel. I called the salon to ask for a refund because I was so upset that not even a week later my hands looked awful. They wouldn't allow anything, just another chance to fix the nails. I said no, I don't want this to happen again. He said he couldn't do a refund, because you can't refund for labor. I paid $65 for the garbage "labor". I will never be going back there. And I have friends who go there that will also not be going back there. read more

Been coming here for about 3 years but I've only gotten my nails done 7 times in those 3 years. Every time I come here I have to pray that they properly shape my nails. I always have a nail or nails that are crooked or not sized correctly and it honestly sucks. I always pay $65-70 including tips, only to get rewarded with upsetting results. The nail results have gotten worse over the years. I just wish they had better shaping and they were less thick and bulky. I got my graduation nails done but before picking the design I wanted (French tip nails) I asked the woman if she could make them look exactly the same. She said yes but they turned out completely different. But I do think that the workers are nice and kind but sometimes they shout at you when you ask them to repeat something one time. The quality of this nail salon just keeps getting worse. When I first went, I remember how good they were and how long they lasted (about a month and a half) but they just look terrible. They last less then 3 weeks for me now. read more

I came here once they did an okay job which some of the nails were uneven and not smooth but it was hard to see these flaws unless you really looked at my right hand. *Do NOT go here for a Dazzle Dry manicure* I was very excited to try the Dazzle Dry system after reading about it being a good alternative to gel. I did get gel manicures for years, but the removal process severely damaged my nails. This salon was one of the few local salons that has Dazzle manicures listed on their website, and I was eager to give it a try. These manicures are designed to last up to 2 weeks IF APPLIED PROPERLY. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when the very next day major chips and peeling began. I also noticed rippling of polish the day of. I was so surprised that I visited Dazzle's website to investigate. It seems this Polish system should not be used with a fan (my technician had me use a fan), as this causes rippling. I can only guess the cause of the chipping and peeling of polish, but it seems either improper application or contaminated/expired product is to blame. As I said, this was my first time trying this type of manicure, so I am unfamiliar with the steps involved and trusted the technician to be familiar with it as this is one of few local salons that list this manicure as a service. I would've been better off getting a regular manicure. On the positive side- I was greeted immediately upon arriving and was in and out quickly. UPDATE: I've included updated photos on Saturday evening after a Thursday afternoon manicure. Just don't bother with the Dazzle Dry here. read more

I really wanted to like this place because the location is so convenient. However, after going twice, I can say the experience is subpar at best. First, the salon is dirty. There are holes in the walls. The floor os missing in some spots. I had to ask the manicurist to clean the half-empty juice boxes off of her station before starting my nails. I can't see it being sanitary. But second, both times I went here my gel manicure and pedicure chipped after only 2-3 days. I definitely won't be back. read more

Disappointing first time coming here. I made an appointment for two gel manicures with a friend of mine who I don't see often (thinking we would be sitting next to each other) and they sat us in separate rooms - which isn't a huge deal based on who was available to do our nails but definitely disappointing. I picked a really pretty blue color polish and the woman doing my nails brought over a different shade of blue polish because she couldn't find the one I wanted. It wasn't a bad color but she barely spoke English so I told her it was fine. The manicure was rushed and there are a lot of imperfections in the nails (random bubbles, messy edges, not enough coverage of the polish even though she went over my nails 3 times). I am not satisfied with how they look and will not be coming back here again. Overall wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

Very unproffessional. They get upset when the customer is the one with every right to get upset. Rushes because they over-book their schedule. Blames the polish you chose when color is uneven or does not uniformly match; any mistake is never their fault; instead of apologizing to the customer and correcting their mistake, they talk with each other in their language with a negative tone of voice. Rude. Waxing is suggested and rushed as well to make quick bucks in between nail work. Also, waxing station linens are filthy. There are many nail places in Waltham. I've had 2 others done here and they were just okay - a little thick for my liking. Van was meticulous the entire time she was doing my nails and she sanded them down so that they are not super thick and they actually feel natural on my nails.
