Best Chinese food in Snohomish Co. They're a small mom & pop place that uses quality ingredients without special request. My wife and I have been going for 10yrs now, and we've tried just about every place from Snohomish to Edmonds and Bothell to Marysville. Nothing compares.

Lunch items: orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken chow mein

Located in a mall in Bothell, a good American-Chinese fusion restaurant. Ordered lunch takeout, and it was good and quick. Lunch orders came with main dish (orange chicken, chicken chow mein, and Mongolian beef), steamed rice, 2 piece fried wontons and soup (egg flower soup). Each lunch entree was $8.50. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef order 4/5 spicy and there was some heat to them. I was surprised the chow mein was made with rice noodles. Would order from them again.

I highly recommend hitting up Imperial Wok in Bothell for some excellent Chinese food. The family that owns the restaurant is fantastic, and the food is always fresh and tasty. We ordered the Chicken with Vegetables (w/out mushrooms) and the Combination #3. My wife loved her chicken and vegetables (comes with steamed rice) and she would definitely order that meal again. My combination #3, however, was life changing; it comes with hot and sour soup, a spring roll (plus sweet and sour sauce), crab rangoons (delicious), pork fried rice, and the Really tasty Mandarin Crispy Chicken (delicious beyond words). The meal was reasonably priced, and we will definitely be back soon. Please help support our small, local businesses! Thank you!

Family dinner for two... only for one really

They must have changed who was serving good but got diner for two and this is not even close to what's going to Feed us!! All of these are half way filled and have zero flavor in really disappointing, last time it was alright this time it's just not worth it

Sooooooooooooo good! Just delicious! Everything tasted like it was just cut/prepped and just freshly cooked (nothing frozen). Both the man and woman that helped us tonight were very kind and friendly, and helped with questions or extra items we requested. Everything had delicious flavor. My husband and I were stuffed but we couldn't stop eating because it was so good. I got the cashew nut chicken (minus mushrooms) and it's the best I've had in a long time. My husband got the combo #1 with wonton soup, spring roll, pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, and the almond crusted chicken. He was in heaven with everything too. The food was quick, had plenty of parking, nice service, great food. Couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be back.

Tried this Chinese cuisine for the first time today with my family! We ordered the Moo shu chicken, Kung Pao Three Flavors, and Crispy Prawns & Honey Walnut. All three dishes were good but I especially loved the moo shu chicken! It comes with this stir-fry style chicken with bean sprouts, cabbage, and mushrooms and you wrap it in a very thin crepe-like Chinese pancake with a sweet, dark sauce. I loved the flavors in the chicken stir fry and the way it blended in with the sauce and wrap. Definitely recommend the moo shu chicken! The complimentary tea is also good, so ask for that! There's only two people working but the service is very quick and they do a lot more to-go orders rather than dine-in.

THE quintessential strip mall Chinese-American restaurant. With General Tso's chicken! And it's a Mom & Pop place. That pretty much sums up everything you need to know about this small joint tucked away in the back of the QFC strip mall. The food is solid, but forgettable. Some items are better than others though. Their potstickers are pretty good as is any wok item that they have to make on the spot (cashew chicken). But others that utilize chicken nuggets with sauce (Sweet & sour, orange, sesame, General Tso, Mandarin, etc...) are supremely disappointing. Fried rice & chow main are lacking flavor. But it's very clean and the staff of 2 people are nice, attentive and the guy who works the line knows how to work a wok! Not a bad show while you're waiting.

Location is hard to find. Google maps shows it on the other side of the complex. People were very nice, but the Orange Chicken was so-so.

The first time I came to Modoo Hansang, I found a long hair in my soup, then a long hair in my rice. I left quickly without finishing much of anything, but the situation was taken care of by the manager. I understand this could just be a bad day, a fluke of sorts... so about 7 months later, I came back to give it another shot. They have a decently extensive menu, and they have a lunch set that is half-sized portions. I got the soondooboo and the galbi lunch set, and it was a good amount of food for one. The side dishes aren't really your traditional side dishes, and they're presented very beautifully. It makes you feel like you're fine dining. The flavor seemed a bit more fusion than traditional. They also give apps like california rolls, salad, and soup. (My gripe is that they should have used a miso dressing instead of an Italian dressing that tastes like it came from a bottle for the salad.) Overall, you order your entree, and you get what feels like a 5 course meal. Went at 1:00 PM on a Saturday, but it wasn't busy at all. Got seated immediately, and there were 2-3 other parties dining as well. Modoo Hansang gets the job done if you're craving a hearty Korean meal~

I can imagine a line out the door during peak hours. I ordered the mushroom soft tofu stew (sundubu-jjigae) + pork bulgogi combo (medium spicy), and my wife ordered the Galbitang. The food arrived 10-15 minutes after ordering, despite three more tables arriving and placing orders around the same time - I noticed they got their food within the same window. This place is efficient. The sundubu-jjigae arrived in a stone pot, broth running surprisingly clear and light for how substantial it tasted. The pork bulgogi came out still sizzling on a cast iron skillet over a wooden board - the kind of presentation that makes the table next to you immediately regret their order. Portion-wise, the pork felt slightly light for a $28 combo relative to everything else on the table. The banchan deserves its own mention: eight-ish dishes - kimchi, bean sprouts, gyeran mari (beautifully golden rolled egg), seasoned greens, braised tofu, pickled daikon, and a couple more I'm still trying to identify. None of it felt like filler - the kind of sides you keep reaching for absentmindedly mid-conversation until they're gone. The rice was a multigrain mix (purple-black grains) rather than plain white, a small detail that signals care for the fundamentals. My wife's galbitang arrived looking like a commitment - massive short rib bones in a rich, clean broth that meant business before you'd even picked up a spoon. She ended up so full we packed the rice and half the dish to go. When your takeout bag solves dinner that evening, that's a PORTION SIZE WIN. One last detail worth calling out: they proactively offered me an apron since I was eating spicy food in a white polo. Small gesture, real thoughtfulness - and apparently aprons are limited, so I appreciated being asked first.

Here's what we ordered: Beef Short Rib Stew: The broth was excellent and flavorful. However, the beef itself could have been more tender, as if it needed to be cooked a bit longer. Seafood Pancake: This was a highlight! It was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the inside and was packed with seafood. We really loved it. Squid Deopbap: This dish was also fantastic. It came with a great sauce and a generous amount of squid. All mixed together, it was a very rich and satisfying bowl. Overall, Korea House is one of the best Korean restaurants I've tried in the Seattle area. Their portion sizes are very generous.
