Have only positive things to say about the staff. Super helpful and kind young ladies. I was mailing via FedEx. But had forgotten to complete a fingerprint on some docs. All the places nearby did not have a stamp. I called the Imperial Mail Box--they agreed to help without hesitation. And when I stamped the wrong hand they readily did so again. All of this in addition to letting us borrow their office computer (which they had been using themselves) to reprint the form for said fingerprint. I ordered a package and set my delivery location to this place, I've gone there to pick it up and they tell me they don't have it yet dhl tells me it's been delivered ever since the 27 of December I showed them screenshots of dhl telling me it's been delivered yet they tell me they can't do nothing about it or help me. I guess stealing packages is the new thing for them! I complained to them and said I was gonna make a complaint and they just stayed silent. Spent 150$ FOR IT TO GET STOLEN?! Not sure what the deal is with unfavorable reviews. I honestly had a great experience with imperial mailbox. First of all, the place was a little difficult to spot since it's crunched in between a busy business complex. When I walked in, the place felt like a mom and pop's shop with various services. There were a few people who were being helped so I stood there, until nice young lady spotted me. She asked me, "how can I help you, sir?" I'm thinking, sir? People usually treat me normal or like crap when I wear a shirt, hoody, jeans, and tennis shoes, and I did wear them on that day. I only get the "sir"'s usually when I wear my business attire. So, it really sparked me. Told her I need to do a live scan. She asked me to have a seat and said she'll be ready in a minute. And she was quick to call me. Asked me if I've done this before. I'm familiar with the process. Then, she told me there a restroom at the back where I could go to to wash my hands in order to be ready for the fingerprint. When I got back she's already punched in my information (taken from the live scan application given to her in the beginning) in the live scan system. We did my fingerprint right after. It easy quick and easy. And then, she asked me if I had any questions. I was like in my head, "did she really ask me that? That's pretty damn good customer service." I asked her about their notary services and told her about my situation where I needed some kind of declaration of my marital status, in which would state that I am single, because the LA county registrar cannot provide such document. The young lady replied saying that she is still learning to become a notary public, but will ask someone to call me while she handed to me their business card. Someone's gotta give her a raise because this young lady's customer service is top notch. She was kind, courteous, and professional. And she said if I did a Yelp review, I'd get a gift or something. I didn't really care about it so I thanked her and went on my way because I had plenty of things I needed to do that last Friday. Well, I walked out satisfied. And it didn't stop there. I never pick up random calls but today, my caller ID says Imperial Mailbox. I was like for real? I picked up and it was someone named, "Mia." Mia asked me that I had questions about the notary service. So I told her exactly what I needed. Mind you, what I needed was very unique. As I will not go into detail, Mia told me there were certain things she could and couldn't do. I really appreciate people who with integrity and she seemed to have it. Basically, she was hit with a some questions and was straightforward with her answers. I told her that I would probably go back to her service in January because what I wanted needed to be dated within a certain timeframe. I told Mia that I did not expect a call back whatsoever, but Imperial Mailbox kept their words. Or probably the young lady followed through. I was so damn impressed with these ladies. I told Mia I had to go on Yelp and give a great review. I just got off the phone with Mia just some minutes ago, so all memory of my interactions is still fresh. These guys should not be rated under 5 stars. Thank you, ladies. read more

This place is a joke. It only stays in business because it's right across from the Recorder's Office and Courthouse. First off, the place smells, it's disorganized and there is no air conditioning (just a small fan that doesn't do anything). I walked in to get my LiveScan done and the guy said it was $75. I just had my prints done for something else a few months ago and it was $30. I know the rolling fee is typically $25 and then there are various fees, but $75 does not seem right. But let's just say $75 is legit....they then add $2 to use your card to pay! Wtf? Seriously?????? I would have left at this point, but I didn't have time to go elsewhere. As I'm getting my prints done, the guys wife is sitting in a chair in the middle of the store watching TV as she is barefoot and eating food. The clincking of the bowl was driving me crazy and she ate with her mouth open. This is a business, not your front room. When a customer came in, the hubby had to direct her to help him out. She was abrupt and not friendly. I will never ever come back here again! read more

Very disappointed, came in to get a passport photo, I was on a time crunch. Photo was taken and after waiting a few minutes I was told the machine or computer wasn't working and the photo would not load so they could not print the photo etc. read more

Been feeling all the nerves lately getting paperwork prepared for a new job. I'm not used to fulfilling some of the pre-employment screenings required, such as fingerprint scanning. Thankfully, I had Imperial Mailbox close to my home today save the day. Michelle, Maria, and Mia couldn't have been more accommodating and personable, making me feel comfortable and welcomed in the short interactions I had. The three worked hand in hand together to make the customer feel taken care of and that customer service is something I don't take lightly. My first jobs were in hospitality so customer care is HUGE to me and they couldn't have exemplified a high standard for that any better.
