IMOs
Melissa J.

Had to celebrate 314day with St. Louis' own IMOs pizza. The square beyond compare. There's nothing like that delicious provel cheese, crispy bacon, fresh green pepper, onion and sausage. Add a nice side salad and you have the perfect meal. There's no better way to serve up a quick delicious dinner.

I like this Imo's location! Never had a bad order, and the toasted ravioli is awesome. Employees are friendly and laid back. Only complaint is that it can get hot inside in the summer if you're eating in, but they are baking pizzas all day.

A slice of pizza from an order that claimed to have 'extra sauce'. All I see is cheese and dough.

I've tried many times to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I am someone who likes extra sauce on my pizza. I have ordered extra sauce every which way, and this place just does not seem to get it. I always, without fail, get extra cheese and absolutely no sauce when I order a pizza with extra sauce. I'm done giving this poor excuse of a pizza shop business. You can't learn how to keep customers happy and satisfied.

So we were recommended to come here for the best toasted ravioli and it was fantastic! We also ordered the deluxe pizza, our first experience with St. Louis pizza - it was delicious! It was think, crispy & cut into squares! Love the cheese!! The cheese bread was tasty but a bit soggy. That is the only negative; service was great. Casual eatery; we will definitely return!

We ordered a large deluxe for carry out last night. It was cooked to perfection and looked just like the one on their ads. Imo's quality ingredients combined with the generous quantity of toppings are why this remains our all time favorite.

SMALL. Very little dine in space

Food was good, but not as good as other IMO's. We had 3 salads and 2 pizzas. There were no salt and pepper shakers, only paper packets. Frustrating! Both pizzas were not cut through. I asked to have it cut again and it still was not cut through the crust. There was no Parmesan or pepper flakes for the pizza. They were out of cookies for the kids meal. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen. Three of the six employees sat at an employee table conversing and attending to their phones. This IMOs should be an IMO Pronto or something. Definitely NOT a dine in establishments! I wish all IMO's were the same, so you knew what you're were getting. Washington, MO should be the model. Its better than Kirkwood too. Kirkwood gets the cleanest award though.

a half eaten pizza in a box

So we have used this location before and our experience started out great the first few time we have been here. Unfortunately the last two time we order pizza from here the pizza was burnt two times to many. It will be very hard for me to go back to this location again. As much as Imos Pizza cost it should be nothing but perfection each time. I guess I should have said something but after a long day of work I did not want to wait around for another one to be remade. I am very disappointed in this product, there is no reason why it should have came out this way and the employee who made it should have known not to send this out. The middle was not all that great either with the burnt hard cheese. This was a waste of my hard earned money because half of this pizza will not get eaten due to the burnt taste. ‍. I don't know if the oven needs to be calibrated right what but this is truly unacceptable.

Worst pizza ever tonight. Delivery person didn't follow the direction and the pizza as usual was awful.

Reasonable price for a Detroit-style pan big enough for me to eat half and save half. I'm excited that I'll be able to enjoy this one for two meals. I ordered the Margherita pizza andthe edges were perfectly crispy, the crust was the right amount of chewy. The pickup shelf is clearly labeled, so getting in and out was a breeze. I'd like to return for a sit-down lunch with family or coworkers though because they have a lot of nice seating in a space that feels very cozy for being in a busy shopping center. I'll be back!

So you tell me they mash the pizza with French onion and I have to get in the car! It was definitely a good choice too! The flavors came together incredibly well with the crispy edges of the crust replacing crutons and the beef stock and carmelized onions and cheese doing there thing on top of that crust! Now, let me point out something I think is obvious. The service and atmosphere at Porano is not at the level of Brasserie, but rating it for what it is, it gets all the points. I used the kiosk as the team was busily making deliciousness in the kitchen. I sat down and after they made my pizza, they brought it out. Sometimes they call your name/number to get your lunch to you but they weren't real busy while I was there. There is a foosball table if you want to take a crack at it. Others were working, visiting with friends, etc. Nice clean, casual dining with fantastic flavors.

Since it was late and I didn't want anything heavy, I thought to give this place a try. It's been quite some time since I've eaten here and I'm pretty sure it's been so long they had a different menu back then. I decided to get a side of Parmesan crusted chicken, a side Caesar, and a side of the cheese bread. All were so good and kept me full. Additionally, it's nice to be able to get something small, yet filling, and not feel guilty!

Few fast casual restaurants offer feta. I should try one of the salads sometime, but when I'm here, I'm famished, and I want the maximum carbs. The food is good. The employees are always friendly and they seem happy. I usually bus my own dishes, but recently staff has stepped in to take care of those for me. That saves me half a minute and make the experience more of that of a restaurant. I see our late, great Yelper Patt C also reviewed Noodles and Company after having sold items to Scotman's Coin a few businesses down. I have stopped at Noodles when I go to Scotsman's, so I follow in the footsteps of a Yelp giant. (I wish we could meet up at the FroYo in the same parking lot, Patt!) Turning left out of the parking lot is difficult and can take some time. Turn right and turn again at the next light.

Midwest Pasta provides fresh pasta and flour to local restaurants. So they make their products in batches -- but anyone can walk in and purchase. There is always a supply of fresh pasta in the refrigerated section, as well as some frozen. I've had their mushroom ravioli, fettucini, gnocchi, pappardelle, and meat tortellini. Everything is DELICIOSO!! Their customer service is awesome. I stopped in to buy some fresh pasta, and was advised on what might pair best for my meal plan; and because I was traveling got an ice pack to help the pasta stay cooled. There is also a very small display of imported olives, olive oil, pesto, etc. However, the options are limited and display is limited to just a couple shelves. This is not a huge grocery, but it will accommodate small foodies out exploring the Cherokee Street Benton Park neighborhood. Double check store hours. They DO close early. So be sure to check hours and plan your visit accordingly. You'll miss out if you think you're stopping by after work or on the weekend.

So basically if you have a 9-5 job, you will never, ever be able to discover the wonderful things they offer here, which is a shame, and odd. Please for the love of God, open back up on Saturdays, thanks.
