You can see folks working in the kitchen so I quickly put my order in the kiosk.

This pizza was the welcome to fall I didn't know I needed. I love the regular menu here and have had plenty of pizza and pasta in the past but I've got to say I LOVE Brasserie's French onion soup. So you tell me they mash the pizza with French onion and I have to get in the car! It was definitely a good choice too! The flavors came together incredibly well with the crispy edges of the crust replacing crutons and the beef stock and carmelized onions and cheese doing there thing on top of that crust! Now, let me point out something I think is obvious. The service and atmosphere at Porano is not at the level of Brasserie, but rating it for what it is, it gets all the points. I used the kiosk as the team was busily making deliciousness in the kitchen. I sat down and after they made my pizza, they brought it out. Sometimes they call your name/number to get your lunch to you but they weren't real busy while I was there. There is a foosball table if you want to take a crack at it. Others were working, visiting with friends, etc. Nice clean, casual dining with fantastic flavors.

Still not blown away by the food. We were the only ones in there, food came out hot and was okay but it's just nothing amazing. Both workers told us to let them know if we needed anything!

Porano was my go-to when I frequented the downtown location @ MX. I've since moved to the county and Porano has not only followed me but resurrected itself! I'm sure I've been at least 4 times in the past year. It's a good place to stop for a weekday lunch or for a relatively quick meal. It isn't as quick as Chipotle or Qdoba, but close enough considering it's being cooked to order. My dining companion enjoyed a salad. I had a cheese pizza on my last visit. It's Detroit style, but not as tall at Jet's. I had asked a couple of staff members to describe the pizza and they undersold it as a pomodoro sauce with mozzarella cheese. That pomodoro sauce had a little hint of red wine... maybe it wasn't that, but whatever it was, it was so good and it will probably be my new standard item at Porano. You can do your pasta bowl your way here. :) The gelato pops are pretty good, too! I've never had to wait very long to order. You can order at a kiosk or from a person... order your way.

Food was pretty decent. The vodka chicken parm did come with a nice sized cutlet. It was seasoned pretty well, but slightly dry. The bowl itself could've used a bit more sauce. The focaccia was really good, however, I would've loved to have been able to order butter. At home I added butter and the bread was divine! Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, semi casual With a clean, modern aesthetic. Service was okay. I think the team member was confused with some of my questions. I'd recommend submitting a mobile or or using the kiosk so you get what you need and don't have to wait for food as long. I was more so thinking this would be like a crew serve where everything is out on a line for you to make your bowl, but there's a separate kitchen in the back where everything is prepared. I'd definitely try the pizza next time. It looks fantastic!

This was a takeout order that I placed online. Ordered their French onion pizza, a spicy chicken wrap and a salad. Ready when I got there. It was all very good. I love Detroit style pizza. It's really my favorite. Crispy edges are so satisfying. My son loved the wrap and the salad looked great. Nice place for a quick meal. Lots of good shops in this shopping center. Highly recommend Porano.

Found this gem while visiting family in St. Louis. The pizza is delicious-soooo cheesy and perfect thickness for deep dish. The salad was pretty tasty too. Don't forget to get an extra side of ranch to dip your crust in! We ordered online for takeout so cannot speak to the service or ambience of the restaurant itself but online ordering was super easy and it was ready on time. Def will be back next time I'm in town!

Popped in for a quick dinner before I went grocery shopping at Trader Joe's next door. Solid plan in my opinion, delicious dinner and no over buying while shopping due to hunger- it's a win win! I ordered at the kiosk and got a pizza and a soda. Soda was immediately given to me after submitting my order, they fill it for you. I took a seat at a booth and was brought my pizza about 10 minutes later. I ordered the meatball pizza and it was super good! Quality ingredients and super filling. This can last 2-3 meals for me. Great family friendly spot!

I'm so happy to see Porano come back! I used to go quite often when they were located downtown because it was a generally pretty quick lunch place with many options and great portions. The portions are still big and very shareable! I slightly miss watching them assemble the meal, but like how open the place is so it's ok if they put it together in the back. On my most recent visit, we were able to quickly order at the kiosk at the front - 2 pasta bowls and the risotto balls. Everything was delicious and fresh! 10/10 can't wait to go back again...need a gelato pop!

Dropping to one star because I was never refunded for the charge of something they could not fulfill through grub hub - no communication prior and said they'd take care of it but never did.

Back again for the Neapolitan pasta. It is so good. I love the smoky Sunday sugo, paired with the pork and giardiniera and the bread crumbs! A perfect combo. Not sure what the noodle shape is but I love it, too! Service is always friendly and fast. The serving size was generous and that is great for me as I can enjoy it again with leftovers.

Porano is the perfect place for a casual meal. The menu has options for everyone - GF, Vegan. I love the Suzie Salad and their veggie lover's pasta with rice! The pumpkin seed pesto is soooo good! The pizzas look amazing, if you're not GF.

Porano is a spot I've surely missed, so its return is very exciting. Thanks Gerard! This fast-casual Italian eatery is amazing with its endless topping options, where more is definitely better. The gluten-free pasta is a standout, with a texture that rivals any traditional pasta, and the tofu? Just the right kick of spice makes it a must-add to any bowl. If there's one thing missing, it's some seafood toppings to round out the choices. But even without that, Porano has reclaimed its spot in my favorites list.

Lots of parking as part of a strip mall. Convenient online or at the counter ordering. I ordered online. They text when ready. It was ready when promised. The lemonade was fresh and tasty. The pizza was solid. It's the Detroit style, would've liked it slightly crispier. Lots of cheese! Pepperoni was tasty. The cauliflower and chickpeas was good. I like the chickpea option and that it wasn't dripping in oil. Good option for a fast bite. I didn't try the pasta yet.

If you've never tried toasted ravioli, you haven't lived. This is a great place to go to try it. I could eat it until I no longer fit in my pants! They really should have a plus sized clothing department right there in the store as some people are going to need it. Oh, and they have great pizza, too. You can try the St Louis style with provel (which I really like), but I'm pretty sure they have a mozzarella option, too. I've also tried their salads in the past and really enjoyed them. One day, maybe I'll get to try one of their Italian dishes. The place is a bit unusual in its look and structure. If you are going to get a table and eat, go in through the back door. There are some areas that look like smaller rooms, and then there was a larger room where we ate. It's all enjoyable, though. I also want to say that our waitress there was one of the most outstanding waitresses that I've ever seen. She was very friendly and helpful. It definitely added to the experience. I just don't think people realize how good St Louis food is! This is a prime example. Unless you really don't like Italian food (in which case, what's wrong with you?), go eat here!

Well we went on a weekend for dinner and it's clear why there are crowds here. Turned out to be fine as we found a seat near the bar and got to watch the World Cup game as we had a drink. We were on the patio, this was June, and it's a really neat space as they can adjust the room to be more open or closed depending on how the weather is. Was an interesting feeling, felt like we were inside but with a nice breeze. For food we got the toasted raviolis to start, each of us got a salad, for entrees we got chicken parm and the rigatoni allá vodka with shrimp. They also gave complimentary bread that was very nice. I especially enjoyed my rigatoni allá vodka but everything was delicious and reasonable my priced. Food all came out fast and service was quick and friendly.
