Eggplant Parmesan (Eggplant Parmigiano - Entree) parm only and side of Italian Potatoes
    Shirley D.

I've been going to this Pasta House location for years. Always good comforting food at affordable prices. This time I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan Entree with Italian Potatoes (crave these) as my side. I prefer only the Parmesan (usually comes with more cheeses on top). Comes with the traditional yummy Pasta House side salad. My husband got Pasta Con Broccoli and a large salad. Fresh rolls are always included. We had plenty to eat and both took home 1/2 our meal for leftovers another night. My husband also got a piece of the carrot cake which was very good. Amber was our waitress. Very pleasant and friendly. Family atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was packed on a Friday night, we got seated when we walked in. Restaurant was not noisy and you can easily have a nice dinner and conversation. Always love me a good Pasta House night out.

My wife and I Went to pasta house tonight for Valentine's Day and had a fantastic meal. My wife had the Sicilian grilled fish with salad and white pasta . She said it was cooked to perfection moist and flaky and delicious. I had the fish alla fresta The white wine and lemon sauce was superb the fish was moist and flaky and perfectly cooked and I also had the side salad and white pasta. Our server Ruth was excellent very attentive and took care of our needs. The restaurant as well lit and clean with lots of wine bottles on shelves around the edge of the dining room it was a very good dinner!

Amazing meal tonight! Fabulous service! Erica is the best!!! Toasted ravioli for the appetizer. He had roast beef with Au Jus. And I had an amazing new special Chicken picatta. White wine sauce was amazing, and I asked for it on my pasta, and they accommodated. It was amazing

This doesn't look any different than any other Pasta House but it was. We went here for our anniversary. We drove over an hour and a half to get here and it was worth it. (We used to have a Pasta House in our town, but it's been closed for years). We walked in and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Olivia, came out very quickly and took our drink order. Drinks came almost instantly and our order was taken. Very soon after the food showed up. Salad and rolls, so fresh and delicious! As we wrapped up the main course arrived. Our food was amazing and the service was outstanding! I think the next time I'm in the Saint Louis area we may make another trip to this Pasta House!

a salad, pasta, and salad dressing

$$$$$ Food here is reliably good, that much I'll give them. But let's be honest... it's not gourmet Italian food where somebody's Nonna is hand-making the pasta dough in small batches in Little Italy. I understand inflation is a real thing nowadays, but I order takeout from here for my wife and myself somewhat regularly and always feel like I've spent way too much money for what we get when I get it home. Case-in-point: tonight's meal pictured below. Supposed to be a Tortellini entree, an appetizer of 3 meatballs and a large salad for us to share. $40 later and it looks like with the exception of the meatball app, we got whatever they had left of the pre-made salad and what amounts to a side of pasta. Definitely not $40-worth of food.

At $25/pl should've just cooked myself. The salad was dry with 1 piece of artichoke. The pasta was average at best.

(different location) First off I have to say right off the bat that as far as "St. Louis style pizza" goes (and yes I'm referring to you Imo's, Elicia's, CWP, Pasta house, and others) St louis Pizza and Wings is the winner in my opinion. Sure, one could argue that another place has a better sauce, or a different has a better sausage, or maybe the third has a special cheese you prefer, etc. What I am saying is that when it comes to the total package, STLPW is the winner. I was VERY impressed with the pizzas I received this past weekend. In fact it was so good that the kiddos begged me to get it again for a total of 2 nights in a row! To start, the crust was perfect. I assume its a premade "shell" and for all I know its the same brand as some of these other places but whatever they did here brought it to the next level! Cooking temp maybe? Fresh vs frozen? I don't know, but something made this crust simply better and flakier, than the rest. The sauce was flavorful with a strong tomato flavor as well as the perfect amount of sweetness that I really enjoyed. Toppings were great, and I really like how the pepperoni was under the cheese and the strips of bacon were on top. Speaking of cheese, I honestly don't know a the blend of cheeses they use here are, but I can tell you if you are worried about the St louis Provel taste or liquidity this is NOT that. My only complaint would be the wait time. I ordered online for pick-ups 2 days in a row. First time I waited around 10 minutes past the projected pick-up time. The second however was way off. I arrived about 5 minutes before the pick-up time and was told it was going to be another 20. Then after that 20 was up I went back in and was told it would be another 8-10. Staff was very apologetic and I do appreciate that. They even offered a 2 liter as an apology for my time to which I declined. They also suggested calling in vs online ordering for better projection of times. I DO appreciate that and will certainly do so in the future. Lesson learned, but the extra 30-40 minutes I spent here messed up plans for the rest of the evening... Bottom line... It's 4 stars from me. Sure I've had better pizza in general, and st louis style is far from my favorite, but when it does come to St louis style pizza this is my preference now.

The decor is very "cool bar". Although we didn't investigate it, we were told there was a game room in the back, which sounded like fun for kids or competitive grown ups! We ordered the special for the day, a thin crust, 2 topping pizza and a salad, which was perfect for 2 to share. We both enjoyed the house dressing, which was a red wine vinaigrette made on site. The pizza was good, and the crust was thin, but not cracker thin, and a little floppy. The sauce was not sweet, but not overly seasoned. The mushrooms were shaved thin, and the sausage was good, but nothing extraordinary. We both got a soda, but were never asked if we wanted refills. There were tables to sit outside during better weather. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and a good deal for the reasonable prices.
