My son has been not the best at wearing or keeping his retainer. At one point during the course of our retainer experience the Dr. just broke it down for him simply. He told him he had to wear the retainer for X amount of days in a row then once he's done with that he can lessen the days of wearing. My son did it as best as he could. Then right about when we were making great progress and possibly not needing to get braces my son lost his retainer at an A's game while at summer camp. So, as the parent, I'm over it. We are going to go down the road of braces because, you cant lose braces. He wont need them very long thankfully. My son is doing fine and actually taking care of them pretty well. He doesn't seem to complain about the braces as much as he complained about the retainer. I can tell my son likes the Dr. He actually listens to him. Much better than he listens to me. I have another kid who will be coming in soon for her ortho needs too. Most of the staff is great. All of the RDA's rock. I've only had one incident of weird attitude from someone in the front office after I told her I was brining a check down to pay for the braces. She seemed mad I was going to pay for half the braces up front. I just requested to not have her work on our file again. That request has been met. We cant wait to see the results...for both kids.

Not only that I have spaces because the older Hispanic lady couldn't mold my retainers correctly. My retainers never stayed in place. My teeth go inward and not straight down. They also offered to fix the problem. They put brackets on my teeth and the day of my next appointment they canceled my appointment with no explanation. The brackets they put on are still on my teeth. The new orthodontist I go to laughed and stated orthoworks is known to be the western dental of orthodontists. My new doctor also showed me pictures of patients teeth that had to be corrected due to orthoworks work not being of quality. I paid for X-rays every six months out of pocket. For 4 years I paid $100 for xrays. When I requested the X-rays they sent me a picture of my first visit. There's other quality people to go to. FYI be aware they will make you pay in full before being serviced.
