I gotta say, these people took quite good care of me. I came here for Invisalign type teeth-correction. The experience lasted well over a year and many visits. Their pre- and post-appointment communication is very thorough and effective. The front desk was always staffed in a very friendly way. The doctors and assistants communicate very clearly and kindly and there is no reason you as a patient should feel like "I don't know what's going on", that would mean you aren't paying attention. I never had to wait long to be seen and never felt rushed out. So where's the 5th star? It is too angled toward patient volume imo. Once in the treatment area, there's a bunch of other patients riiiiiiight here and riiiiiiiight there getting whatever done. Like "treat them well but lets get as many people in as we can." Now you might feel like "so go to a mom n pop shop then." And I agree. But! I didn't. I came here and didn't know the environment until already here. And with treatment starting from visit #1, I wasn't going to say "well, keep my deposit/money, buh-bye." The rest of the experience was good enough. So I'm being transparent for the benefit of others maybe considering coming here. If being a well treated cattle doesn't bother you, cool. If you want to be the only patient in the room, nope. For the familiarity I've established and overall experience, I'd likely return if needed. Also, forgot to mention free off street parking is available as well as an elevator if you don't want to walk upstairs. I think I saw coffee inside too but I never considered having some since coffee breath right before an appointment? (ugh, yuck) read more

My son loves coming here, he always feels very comfortable at the orthodontist. It's always easy to make our appointments and we are in and out so fast. BEWARE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TO BECOME A PATIENT HERE. If you have any broken brackets they will not see you until your next appointment. I have to wear rubber bands and the broken bracket is one where I have to hook the rubber band to, I informed them of this and they still didn't care. Mind you my next appointment isn't until mid January so now I have to walk around with a broken bracket for over a month. This is not my first time with braces and all other dental offices have you come in asap to put back any broken brackets back in. Also, the front office staff who called me back (Stephanie, I believe) is not helpful at all. I left a message with my name and she calls me back calling me a completely different name (a male name) when I'm the message I am clearly not a male and clearly state what my name is. read more

Myself and my son go there for any and every orthodontic need. This is a patients first company. It's like a family or a community. They are quick and proficient. It's rare that there is a wait. The office is always themed and decorated and stocked in a way to provide comfort and even entertainment to the patients from chairs that face the window, a tooth brush station prior to and post visit, and friendly holiday in office competitions. My son has braces that they offered flexible payment arrangements for and I have a retainer from them where I accidentally damaged it and they fixed it asap and without charge and with a smile. The dentists and all of the other staff care about the patients. At the end of your visit they make sure you have all of the items necessary to care for your mouth and even give you a cute little themed incentive for keeping up with your appointments that can be traded for gift cards. read more

I really hoped to have A great experience here for my Daughter but ended up having the worst experience ever. I think They have changed over the years and are all about the money and ZERO about the care for their patients! Sad! If I can give Zero stars then I would especially about how they didn't even own up to their mistake and now my daughter has no treatment and they sent my account to collections. I like this orthotics, it's kid and teen friendly, the doctors are very nice here and gentle. But I feel they waste time, I went in to see when I can get braces after getting cavity's and teeth pulled. They had me come in and didn't want to waste time, yet they were running late had me wait 20 mins, just to come in and the doctor to say you can get braces. They then have me wait 2-3 months just to get graces and it takes inky about an hour. So they had me come in just to get an all clear for braces and not even put them on that day? This frustrated me so much, I just hope they manage their time more and extend their office hours read more

I took my son for a consultation. The staff was friendly. The issue started with the follow-up call that I was promised. I was told the office manager would call me to clarify my benefits. They never called. I had to call them to follow up with my questions. I called my insurance, and they called the office and found out that the Pinole office gave my insurance the Vallejo office information. My insurance corrected the mistake. I was told everything was updated, and I should be getting my full benefits. I was heading to our appointment when the office called 20 minutes before our appointment to tell me my insurance would only cover 50% of my benefits because they were changing the doctor's info; they were not out-of-network. Smh I feel like it was a bait and switch. For those who want to know, they were going to charge me $6,200 for metal braces. Good luck. I hope this helps. read more
