History
Established in 2010.
Dr. Cynthia Stephenson has provided the Bay Area with exceptional quality since 1995. Now in Walnut Creek since 2009, Dr. Stephenson and her team continue to focus on core values. Dr. Stephenson’s commitment to education has led her to become an expert technically, but also mentor and teach. In her boutique practice, she sees 6 patients a day not 20-30 like many clinics. She believes, through high quality, more conservative care can be offered which delivers beautiful lasting results that save patients time money and inconvenience over time. She runs her model successfully with this format, but, with economic pressures on patients and lower reimbursements from dental insurance companies, many patients need to work within their insurance and may only go outside insurance for higher end restorative projects, and optimum esthetics. Because of this, she has developed a model within her own office to offer dental care for the larger percentage of patients with Delta Dental Insurance.
Meet the Business Owner: Cynthia S.
A 1994 graduate of UCLA Dental School, Dr. Stephenson received the Robert Woolcott Top Clinical Operative Award as a student and was # 1 in class for clinical restorative dentistry. She was one of four top seniors to participate in a year of an esthetic mini-residency. Her General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia was in a busy hospital-based program where she received advanced training in surgical implants and perio-prothetics and worked with medically compromised patients. She has been an active member and is in the accreditation process for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry which enhances outcomes on a daily basis. She recently graduated from the internationally renowned KOIS Center and attained the rigorous Mentor status. She has had a career long commitment to continuing education and now in this next chapter, she not only loves clinical care with patients, she is teaching and mentoring other dentists.
