The quality of the dental care is good, but billing is deceptive…read more I called and was told that they took Atena dental insurance and they were in-network, when I checked into my appointment I handed the clerk my insurance card and asked them to double check that I was in network, they assured me that I was. After I got my dental cleaning and x-rays, the clerk told me that they screwed up and were actually out of network for my plan, and that Atena would only cover 60% of the bill. So I had to pay $140 out of pocket which I was not pleased about. A few weeks after that, I get a bill in the mail for an ADDITIONAL $135, and they start calling me repeatedly saying that Atena wouldn't cover everything. It took a long time, but I finally got a response to my complaint to Atena that the Dr's office refused the insurance's reasonable negotiated rates that they were willing to pay, and Atena was not going to pay the full inflated rates. Note that their website still says they're in network for Atena and that they "avoid surprise billing." Yeah right. I ended up having to pay $275 for a simple cleaning and basic x-rays. Will never be back and suggest that everyone else does not get fleeced by them either.

In reading other reviews, it seems that their tactics are the same for everyone. They advertise affordable imaging and cleaning for new patients, but once they have you in the chair they pressure you into expensive "deep cleaning" and other unnecessary treatments, and if you decline they are rude and try to refuse to clean your teeth. In one family member's experience, she was given the "pitch" before the dentist even evaluated her teeth! Oops... In my experience, I told the dentist I wanted to learn more about their equipment, as I was totally unfamiliar with the treatment they were suggesting, and do some research before proceeding with a super expensive out-of-pocket treatment. She acted offended, that I was challenging her expertise. I simply wanted to know what she was going to be doing, if there were any risks with it, and if it was a normal or common dental procedure. When she finally did my cleaning, she spent less than 5 minutes, and when she was finished she didn't say anything and just left and never came back. Not realizing she was finished, I waited nearly 45 minutes before getting out of the chair, as I thought she was coming back to complete the cleaning. And the front of the office guy basically said something along the lines of "there's nothing else we can do for you today unless you pay for the laser treatment." On top of this, they also try to bill insurance or patients for services that were not performed. For example, billing my insurance for extra treatments like fluoride, which was never done. I was the first of my family to go here (other family members are extended, and I would have warned them not to go here had I known before their appointments). They gave all of us the same exact sales pitch, that we all have severe gum disease and that we needed to pay out of pocket for pricey treatments. All of us declined to await second opinions, and the dentist was rude, and refused to even clean one of my family member's teeth -- and still billed his insurance! All of us have found other dentists since then. And those dentists said that we do not actually have periodontal disease. I believe it is their tactic to scare people into thinking they have issues with their teeth/gums to trick them into paying more. Super sad, especially for the elderly members of my family who fell for their pitch. What's worse, is that instead of developing trust and longstanding patient relationships, they would rather pressure you to pay more up front.

Sisodia performed 3-fillings on another family member, one filling came out twice, a second filling started having issues after few months. This office lacks depth in diagnosis, and treatment technique is very poor. Instead of admitting the mistake, office continued to be defensive and rude. In case you are looking for general cleaning, you may give this dentist a try, for anything more, please do not waste your time and money.
