We been going here since 1997, when Dr. Martin was there and my dad had a horrible experience the last 2 days. Making him come on their schedule and then charging him for a procedure he never got!! 350$ worth for nothing! The ownership has really changed. I recommended 2 co workers to them and as a kid got my braces and Invisalign from them. But now it's all about money! Trying to squeeze every penny out of us in the economy . How about you guys start communicating better with your patients!!! You lost a whole family that has been going to you guys for over 30 years ! We live down the street and this is how you treat us! Horrible! Just horrible how you guys treated us! Charging us for something we didn't get service for! You don't know what we're going through financially how could you do that to us?!? I will say the doctor is pretty amazing TODD's a nice guy and he does pretty decent work. Never had any problems. However, his office staff is the worst. I'm not talking about the hygienist or the dental assistance although they're pretty dry humor too, and it just makes the whole experience sad. His front office staff is really the problem. They are inconsiderate, rude no sense of welcoming at all I am not a fan of going to the dentist and, when you walk in the door, you kind of friendly nice you do not want to be welcomed by the staff. I'm sure TODD takes good care of them and they probably think they're doing a great job but myself and others that I know go to Todd are starting to look for a warmer environment, I don't ever want anybody to get fired but a little coaching on how to be out front facing people and how they would appreciate just a little bit of warmth would go along way. I doubt Dr. Loftin actually looks at his yelp reviews, but if he does, hopefully he'll take this to heart and go, let's get these people trained anyway will probably go back a few more times, but definitely on the search for friendly office. read more

I've been on the search for a new dentist for 2 years now (my old dentist of 30 years retired). I'm usually a reasonable person but that all changes when I sit in the dentist's chair. I get extremely anxious and am half tempted to jump out the window at a moments notice during a dental exam or cleaning. Dr Loftin and his staff were awesome and helped me work through the whole exam and cleaning. I am very apprehensive when it comes to dentist. But the folks here at Dr.Loftin office are just so stinking great! I initially came in to discuss the possibility of changing out my front crown. I appreciated Dr. Loftin for his honesty. He expressed a better option that would require me to potentially work with separate dentist. The reason i am so appreciative of this transparency is because he could have just swapped out the crown without educating me of a better option. I still decided to work with the office to obtain my deep cleaning. Their hygienist are just wonderful. They make sure that you stay with the same hygienist. They are also mindful of when you get scheduled for both cleanings to ensure that there is not a major gap in treatment. EVERYONE is so kind. I also deeply appreciate how transparent they are with billing prior to the service. Call ahead to make sure they accept your insurance. I have delta dental and I believe they are not 100% contracted with the insurance. My out of pocket expenses for two deep cleanings will be roughly $150 read more

I had my first appointment with Dr.Loftin's office today. I was extremely nervous and more so embarrassed because I have not been to the dentist in 14 years. Well let me tell you, my appointment went wonderfully! From the moment I walked in and was greeted so kindly and warmly. To the wonderful dental assistant Izzy who helped me out and was so friendly and helpful. Then I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr.Loftin. He was gentle and so understanding and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. After that I met with the amazing dental hygienist, Heather who I absolutely love! She sympathized with me and made me feel as though I was not alone. She was so gentle while cleaning my teeth and her warm smile and kind heart made me feel so good! Dr. Todd Loftin has been very responsive to my dental needs. With denture repairs, timing is of the essence so the patient may go on with normal activities as soon as possible. Whenever I have denture issues I would be seen as soon as Dr. Loftin can squeeze me in his schedule, then repair decision is made and the lab is contacted for scheduling. Dr. Loftin always makes sure of the shortest possible wait time for the patient. I love my denture fit as Dr. Loftin takes all the necessary steps to ensure the best looking smile and the most comfortable fit. I love the teeth cleaning and dental exam visits as it's very comfortable, very thorough. I feel confident that should there be any issues to be addressed they would be addressed in a timely manner and not delayed, hence, condition worsened. I am/was exceptionally afraid of going to the Dentist, so I did the smartest thing possible and put if off indefinitely. Because teeth are self cleaning, right?! Obviously, very wrong. I'm lucky in that I've never had a cavity but I have had some minor work done because of an injury. And I had a medical history that potentially increased some dental risks due to the specific medications I was prescribed a couple years ago. So, I needed to see a dentist for a routine exam and cleaning... but I had extremely high anxiety because I hadn't gone in a few years. I have to say the reviews of this practice are true. Clean, comfortable office with an exceptionally friendly and skilled staff. They dealt with my fears very well. They never shamed me or made me feel bad about putting off my dental health. And they didn't rush me and checked in many times during my routine cleaning and then my follow up deep cleaning (which required Novocaine but I didn't feel anything). The office staff, the dental assistants, the hygienist and Dr. Loftin are all great. They dealt with my anxiety extremely well. I'm very happy that this is one less thing to worry about. I grew up in dentist's offices. My mom was an orthodontic assistant where every day after school I would go over and sleep under the waiting chairs near the patient chairs. I was very comfortable around dentists :) With that being said Dr. L's office is one of the most relaxing, fun, and best dental experiences I have ever had... For me AND my two toddler twin boys. They are SO welcoming, fun, and truly make you feel taken care of. And for kids??? My gosh they got balloons (helium balloons), stickers, toys, sugar free lily pops... Need I say more?! This review is well over due. My first visit to office was about 2 weeks ago and I have a cleaning scheduled next week! The office automosphere alone is 5 stars. I have been looking for a new DENTIST for a few years now. The service I received from the moment I walked in the door was nothing less than phenomenal.. I have a fear of Xrays, however for the first time (I am in my 40's)... i didn't get sick, Wendi was absolutely AMAZING!! Normally I get sick, gag etc. BUT NOT THIS VISIT. Wendi made sure I was comfortable and Xrays completed without any issue. Wendi is a ROCKSTAR! Dr Loftin was able to take care of the cavity during my first visit. I had a wonderful cleaning with Heather M today. She is so thorough and gentle at the same time. I was a little overdue and she made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. She took extra time to make sure I got back on track with my dental health. I've always feel comfortable with all of the technicians because they are all amazing, but Heather really went above and beyond today and I'm so very thankful. I recently had a lot of dental work done to get caught up after missing dental services for over 12 years. The staff at Dr. Loftin's office is amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. Every visit has been very pleasant. Staff is very helpful in answering questions and making me feel comfortable with all the work that needed done to get me caught up. Came here as a first time patient for a teeth cleaning. I had a residual piece of my permanent retainer stuck to one of my bottom teeth. I have been to many dentists who have not even mentioned it. Within the first 10 minutes of my appointment, Dr. Loftin asked me why I never had it removed then removed it for me immediately. It is a reflection of the quality of dentist and the attitude he has about his vocation. Everything with scheduling an appointment and checking in ran like a well oiled machine. I can't thank Dr. Loftin enough as well as his staff for fitting me in today. I knew I could count on dentists in my home-town of Concord, CA! He was very respectful (didn't shame me on the condition of my teeth and gums as other dentists have done). This was a simple tooth extraction that so many dentists in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park and Windsor (Sonoma County) made such a big deal about the extraction. Dr. Todd Loftin got it out immediately! His assistant was so nice and had no problems with the suction process during the whole procedure of numbing me as well as the extraction itself. Dr. Todd Loftin extracted the tooth extremely quickly. His staff advised me of the copay amount up front. Even after the initial phone call and right before the procedure it still was the same price that I was quoted over the phone.
