I've been seeing Dr. Burke and her staff for a couple of years now. They've been nothing but kind and very professional the entire time. Unlike other dentists I've seen, she's very encouraging in regards to positive dental habits, rather than a "you didn't do this or that" negative mentality. She'll tell you that she had plenty of cavities growing up, so she understands where you might be coming from. But her office will also puts clients above their profits. For starters, their base (pre-insurance) costs are very fair. For another, I'm now in a situation where I have a very tight time frame to get some work done (it's my schedule's fault), and rather than stringing me along because they want to get paid, they are helping me get set up with another dentist because it's better for me. read more

Dr Burke is the only dentist I would ever trust. She is so authentic transparent and down to Earth. I feel so comfortable with her and she has the best bedside manner. Her staff are all fabulously lovely and sweet too! They're so non judgement of their patients and make you feel so welcome. I had a previous dentist damage my teeth and she made a structured plan to repair the damage within my insurance annual coverage to max out my insurance and literally make a good financial plan for my teeth repairs. She tries to do as much as she can in one visit, too, so you don't have to come back again and again. My cleaning was amazing, the assistant was so sweet and my teeth feel sparkly and clean. They even have free WiFi and fuzzy warm blankets for you if you're anxious. She is a magician when it comes to teeth. She explains everything thoroughly too! She is literally the best dentist on this planet. I highly recommend her and her team! She always has nice clean office too - everything is super clean and comforting. I called for my 94 year old father who's crown came off, called them to see if we could make an appointment to have it cemented back on. The receptionist was not very helpful, especially when she found out we were not an existing patient, said she would check to see if they could do anything for us and put me on hold for over 12 minutes and never came back on the phone. I've been going to "Roz" for over ten years, and she is my favorite dentist by far. I used to dread going to the dentist as a child, but Roz makes the experience bearable. In fact, I've referred many coworkers who have complained about their dentist. Roz is down-to-earth, extremely caring (always asking if I feel pain), and meticulous. We are about the same age, which is cool. She takes the time to explain her x-rays, give suggestions, and will take extra time to make sure everything is perfect. I also liked how her office kept up with technology over the years : one time they went to digital x-rays and even had a drill-less air powered device for deep cleaning. On my last visit she offered new Zirconia based crowns but I opted for the traditional gold ones. Yelpers rely on having healthy teeth to continue to enjoy life and yelp. For that reason having a great dentist is a must, and I am most lucky to have Roz! read more

I went to see Dr. Burke at the recommendation of many people on NextDoor for a second opinion--my dentist at the time was ordering tons of expensive dental work, and I wanted to make sure it was necessary. From the moment I met Dr. Burke, I knew she'd be my new dentist: kind, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, professional, careful. AND, after reviewing a new set of x-rays and doing a very careful exam (and re-exam, to make sure she hadn't missed anything), she told me that I did NOT have the two cavities my other dentist said I did, nor did I need two crowns! I had horrid experiences with my childhood dentist. I took a good 5 year break from going to any dentist at all I was so scared of them. When I went into Burke's office I was petrified. I can't say enough about the Burke's. They are SO nice, so very patient, they explain everything and I have never felt any pain. My husband had extensive work done on his teeth in their office and has never felt any pain either. We finally talked our family members into going to see the Burke's too. I really just can't say enough. We were considering a move to Idaho and I seriously considered taking trips back to CA so I wouldn't have to change dentists! Luckily we stayed here in CA and I'm relieved I don't have to make that decision. :) ***Update as of 4/08: Brand new building - built to their specs. I went in yesterday for a cleaning and it was my first time in the new place. They did a classy job. You get a back massage while you are being worked on and you can watch your own tv. Like most people, I dread dentist visits. And this was before watching "Little Shop Of Horrors." From when I was a kid until age 29 (okay, I'd been 29 for several years by this time!), I didn't go at all, and only partially because I didn't have dental insurance. Then before I got the job where I've now been for 10 years, I had an accident with one of my teeth, and now I had to go. The Burkes were one of my choices, and their office was only a mile from my condo, so I chose them. I'm very glad I did. It's a brother-sister team, both are good lookin', and quite professional. They know the dread that people have about what they do, so they go out of their way to make it a comforting experience. I got Roz, and she's great. You name it - the dental work, the attitude, the surroundings - she's great at it. (We never got into politics, but seeing that we're both members of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, this discussion wouldn't be off limits.) I had a LOT of built-up work needed to be done on my mouth, and she did it; my teeth probably paid the entire bill for her wedding. So when I finally got married, I had no qualms about bringing my wife in here (she got Darryl). And that's about all I have to say about them. read more

As embarrassing as it is to admit I hadn't been to the dentist in over 10 years and was also SO anxious to go to the dentist because of terrible experiences I had as a child. I found Dr. Rosalyn through Yelp and read all of the great reviews on her and saw reviews where patients mentioned that they too suffered from dental anxiety and Dr. Roz was very accommodating to that and OMG they were SO right! I literally just left her office an hour ago and I'm pleased to say that my fear of the dentist is quickly fading. Dr. Roz and her entire staff are amazing and super friendly. I never once felt judged for how long it had been since I last went to the dentist. She helped prioritize the dental issues that I need to tackle on my road to getting healthy teeth/gums.
