The implant worked very well and does not cause any problem for eating. It does however tend to trap food at the space below the tooth surface adjacent to the neighboring teeth. It proved to be problem for me to clean this in between space. After looking over the x-ray images of the implant, Dr. McMillan devised a plan to minimize the space. He removed the implant and filled in the inter teeth space by adding to the implant to remove the gaps. 3 visits later I have my modified implant that no longer serve as a repository for food. I have no problem cleaning out the space with a waterpik. Great job Dr. M.

That seemed weird, so I called the previous dentist myself, and they told me this practice kept asking for records under my new name instead of my maiden name--and of course, they couldn't find me. They took a scan using their Sidexis system and were claiming that my root canals were showing radiolucency and would require further evaluation. Which I don't mind--but I asked them to give me the scan. They just ignored my messages for half a week. I tried calling; they didn't pick up and didn't call back. I requested the scan for the THIRD time, and at this point I told them this was the worst customer service I've encountered at a dental practice and that I just wanted my scan so I could move on to a different dentist. They then took multiple days to send me... a link to their software installer , which is absolutely laughable. When I called and asked them to simply send screenshots of the teeth in question that would show the issue they were concerned about, they kept explaining how difficult that was.
