I called at 1pm on Tuesday and Athena (the owner) got me right in at 4pm. She did a phenomenal job. I would recommend this place in a heart beat! read more

I'm disappointed with my experience at Image Makers Fairview Salon. I was booked for 9:00 a.m., but another male customer was also taken at the same time. I waited about 20 minutes before it was my turn, and I initially overlooked that. I clearly explained that I wanted shiny hair with color and absolutely no red. Instead, I received only a root touch-up, and the color was much too dark and had a noticeable red tone. She told me "gloss was built in the color" I also asked for my long hair to be styled because it was flat on top. Unfortunately, my hair was cut much shorter than I wanted, with layers poorly cut and choppy and I felt that what I had asked for was not really listened to. While my hair was still unfinished, two other customers came in. The stylist started a full color and foils on another customer while I sat waiting approximately 50 minutes for my color to process. My hair still had no real style when I was finished, yet I was charged $130. I ended up having my hair corrected at a top salon in Lake Oswego, where I paid $230 and received the service and result I had originally hoped for. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the combination of not listening to what I requested, the color being wrong, the haircut being much shorter than I wanted, and the amount of waiting made this a very disappointing experience. I'm sharing this because I believe the owner should know how the appointment was handled. read more

It was a great haircut, it was exactly what I wanted, Priscilla was very nice. She took her time to make long hair too short hair I would recommend this place my haircut ,couldn't have gone better. I love the place ,I adore it. She even offered a soda or a juice, greatest place ever. read more

Thank you, Athena. Past horrible haircuts by others had me hesitant to try again, but you listened and did exactly what I wanted. I can't tell you how happy my husband is that I didn't come home and throw a fit! No tears, just smiles. read more

Athena is the absolute best! She knew exactly what I wanted and what I needed. My curls (and color) have never looked better!! Thank you so much for all your help and expertise and an ear to let me gab at you. I don't leave a lot of reviews for places but I just had to come online and share what a wonderful experience I had. Thank you, thank you!! read more

Athena truly is a goddess! She has been successfully dealing with my thick, curly hair for years which any of you with curly hair knows is a challenge! The number of horrific cuts I've gotten in my life is high and anytime I had to go to someone new, it was a roll of the dice to see if I'd be lucky enough not to leave looking like a freak show. All three of my girls also go to her and we all have different hair types, but her versatility makes it so everyone is happy and looking their best. If I could give her 10/5 stars, I would! read more

I had my first visit to the salon today and Erica was amazing! I had been going to the same stylist/colorist for years who knew exactly what I wanted, and I expected to have a learning curve here at a new salon. Erica however gave me exactly the color and cut I wanted, she was friendly and knowledgeable the price was great and she made me feel right at home. Thank you Erica. read more

Yali is the Bomb! Best nails ever! I don't have to remind her of the things I'm picky about, I don't have to point out flaws, I never leave less than 100% happy with my nails. On top of that, she is darling!! So sweet, I truly look forward to my appt! She is truly an artist!! read more

I'm doing a review for nail services, not hair, FYI. I came across a Groupon for nail services with Julia. It was easy peezy to make an appointment with her over the phone. It's located off Halsey, not too far from Target (which is always dangerous). The salon is tucked away in a small strip of shops next to a car wash place and Bumpers Grill & Bar. Julia is a sweetheart, good listener & great artist. I rarely get my nails done, so this visit was a treat to myself for my birthday. I brought a hand drawn pic of the color scheme & theme I was going for. I explained that I envisioned beach colors because we are going to Seaside to celebrate my birthday. Once I explained & showed her what I was going for, she was totally on board & loved the idea. This was my first time ever getting a gel manicure and I was very impressed with Julia's skills. I love my nails & think they look beautiful. I can't see myself maintaining manicured nails for longer than a couple of months, but when I do them again, I will definitely go to Julia-Groupon or not! Stay tuned for an updated pic in 2 weeks! I have an appointment to go back to Julia for her to do ombré glitter nails next time!!! read more

Yali the nail artist here is fantastic, I first saw her for my Minnie Mouse Halloween nails, and I've been going back every since, my nails are Gel (Solar), I've never had my nails done continuously for this long, I'll never go anywhere else as long as she's here! I highly recommend her!!! read more

Went in to see Ashley for a haircut tonight and with the urging of my wife and encouragement of Ashley ended up with eyebrow waxing and nose hair waxing. Wild stuff, lol. Wow! Is all I can say. I can't believe how much clearer my breathing is. I had no idea. Not too mention my wife is very happy. All in all Ashley did a phenomenal job in every sense of the word. Not only that but she took her time with everything, never rushing and made sure everything done was to my liking. Thank you! Thank you ! Thank you! read more

After a few appointment's I was always getting what the stylist decided was best instead of what I was telling her I wanted. And I could tell she was looking down on me by how she acted and the comments she made to me. Needless to say I don't go there any more. read more

I'm pretty bummed to have to give this place a low review. My stylist, Makayla, was so nice as was everyone else there. Their Covid measures seem very prudent and safe, and the pricing was fair. However, the first time I went in, my hair was quite uneven. I tried to get fringe curtain bangs, and one side was much thicker than the other. I ended up coming back, and while I appreciated that she did not charge me to fix it, it ended up being uneven again with one side significantly shorter than the other. I had to resort to cutting one side myself, because I did not want to return a second time. I'm getting my hair done again soon and I will not be returning to Image Makers. read more

Cute salon! I really needed to get rid of my split ends before Christmas and I called Athena and she got me in a couple of days! I liked that my hair was fresh looking right for the holidays! I also like the location of this salon, it's right next to coffee shop and restaurants. read more

I went in looking for something very specific and now as a 24 year old female, I look like Shawn from boy meets world. I went to the older lady with the short red hair, and she has no idea what she is doing. She is unable to do modern haircuts and instead of letting the client know that she was unable to do the haircut, she continues to just mess your hair up. My hair is so short I can not do anything to fix it. She ruined my hair, spent the entire time trash talking the other stylist who was there, and she destroyed my hair. I am literally traumatized from this experience and I will probably never go to another salon again because of her. It's the next day and she was so rough with my head the entire back of my head is tender and sore. She combed the bleach and the hair dye through my hair (I could hear my hair snapping and breaking), she also continued to cut my hair even after I told her I didn't want it any shorter and she covered it up by saying "I'm getting the stragglers" in reality she cut another 1/4 an inch off of my hair. When I told her I wanted it to compliment the frame of my face (I have a round shaped face) she looked at me for half a second and said "oh who can tell with these masks anyways" I also got quoted $80 and I ended up paying $110. She charged me $30 for something I could have done at home for $15, and I wouldn't have messed up my hair. I do not recommend the specific lady who cut my hair, I personally feel like she shouldn't even be cutting hair at all, and the current state of my head is proof. The salon as a whole was welcoming, but if you have an appointment with the 70 year olds red head, either ask for someone else or go to a whole new salon. Do not let that lady near your head. Salon gets a 8/10 The girl who did my hair gets a -5/10 I asked for one of those two pictures and ALL my hair is gone. She cut it ALL off except for the top of my head. Update: Athena fixed my hair today and it feels amazing. Athena listened to all of the issues I had with Loretta and she was the sweetest lady I've ever met. She went above and beyond in fixing this situation and I HIGHLY recommend Athena, she was amazing. She also gave me shampoo and conditioner to try and fix my hair even more at home. read more

I called on a Thursday evening after 6:00 and Yali answered. I requested a haircut Friday with anyone available. Since they are independent she let me know she'd send out a text to the stylists to see if anyone had openings. She then called me from her personal phone later then evening to let me know Margie had an opening. It was so nice how she went out of her way to assist me in getting an appointment. I went in Friday afternoon to see Margie for my cut. She was thorough, quick and did exactly what I asked. I will most definitely be back. The customer service was exceptional. Thank you ladies! read more

I went to this salon to get a perm - Lynneah did my hair. I end up with same straight hair. Lynneah told me to come back for a redo but at the same time she told me that my hair is too long and it's the reason I didn't get any curls even though I had longer hair with a perm before. Lynneah doesn't pick up phone and stopped replying to text messages. I won't come back to this salon. read more

If you go here, ask for Karen. She is phenomenal! Could not have asked for a more professional, friendly and skilled artist. I will be going back to Karen again and again. Prices are very reasonable for the level of skill and quality of service. She is very accommodating to any special needs you may have. I have a strange schedule and was fit right in at an odd time and never felt rushed or like I was an imposition. You can tell that Karen is very sincere and gifted at what she does. I was impressed! Not what I would expect from a Fairview/Gresham salon. read more

Been here 3 times to see Yali for 2 pedicure and a manicure. She is great very friendly and welcoming. Did I mention gentle? In the 3 times i have been there to see her she has not once nsnippeed my finger or toes. My feet and fingers look clean and feel fresh. I have always had problems with my two big toes and having ingrown toe nails. She is trained to place a brace on your toe to correct it. I just had mine done on 11/30 so in 6 weeks we shall see how they are doing. I will update my review as time goes on. Her prices are reasonable and you are her main attention she is never in a hurry to get you in and out. Will continue to come to Yali as my wallet will allow lol read more

Nice salon, quick service, haircut was good but not great. Would go back and try again because of ease of location.

It's been over a year since my awful experience with Loretta. My hair was DESTROYED by this woman, and I'm still suffering from her incompetence. Anyone that is giving this woman positive reviews must not have had her do color or is a friend or relative trying to offset my HONEST review. I'm disappointed that no one had contacted me about this or replied to this. I guess I should expect that from a salon that keeps this woman at a chair. read more

I went in to get a estimate on a hair cut and trim and Mitchell really understood my vision. I got exactly what I envisioned! I would really recommend ill be getting my nails done by them next time too. read more

After getting my sloppy haircut and deep conditioning done else where (they literally fried my hair and cut it all lopsided...not sure how that can even happen with a deep conditioner), I decided to go to this place. I called the shop and Loretta was able to book me in on the same day. She was so friendly and lovely. I was a bit nervous cutting my hair short, but she did such a wonderful job. I also deep conditioned my hair with her and it is so shiny and soft. Will definitely go back to her. Thanks Loretta for an awesome job. read more

I was in town for a wedding and went in for a manicure and pedicure. Shannon gave me lovely nails and suggested just the right color for my manicure. I was pleased that the salon had a very sanitary foot bath sink, rather than the type with recirculating water that are vectors of bacteria and fungus pathogens. Shannon offered excellent advice on a persistent toe issue that I found successfully took care of the problem. Wish I lived closer, so I could see her on s regular basis! read more

My husband and I were walk-ins(as we were traveling )and were immediately taken care of. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved working with Lynneah and sharing stories! Just had my first haircut with Suzette and she is AWESOME. I have super thick, long hair and wanted a long Bob/shag. Normally stylists don't listen to me when I want a big change AND they usually take 1.5 to 2 hours after which I am exhausted. Suzette was done in less than an hour and it's by far my favorite short cut I've had. She also offered to have me come back any time if I decided I wanted more trimmed off for free! On top of that the salon is super cute, everyone seems super talented as all the clients looked just beautiful when they were done! AND they somehow manage to not have a horrible acetone or hairspray smell despite doing hair and nails. Super good deal, super nice salon, I'm really happy I decided to find a new stylist! read more

Fun salon with great experience. Athena was amazing. She is the first stylist that knew how to handle my curly, coarse hair. Lovely 40s themed atmosphere, professional, clean salon with very friendly coworkers. I highly recommend one of their stylists Sandra, who I knew prior to her working there. However, just from going there I can tell that any of the stylists I were to get service from would be excellent. Right next to a restaurant with the same theme, which is a plus as well. If you live nearby like I do, this is a great value. read more

Loretta did an amazing job on my hair. I'd asked for a messy long bob and she more than delivered! My hair is so cute now!! She made me feel so comfortable the entire time which made for an even better experience. If I weren't moving, I'd keep coming back. Thank you so much Loretta! read more

I LOVE this place! There are few people I trust with my hair, and Sara and Margie are the only two people I trust to touch my hair and they both work here!
