I reached out to other studios and they told me that the wrong rod was used on my eye and I would need to get this relaxed. When I brought that up to Glenda, she told me this is normal (once again) and that this is just how my eyelashes react to this process, but that she could try to make it even. My eyelashes became even more curled and uncomfortable. On top of this, she left the room a number of times while I had the perming solution on my eyes. This made me uncomfortable because I had never had these products on my face and did not know how I would react. I thought this was a normal process, but I have gotten my lashes lifted twice since this service, and each time it has been significantly more comfortable and the results have been better, for over half the price. Additionally, my artist has never left the room, and ensures I am comfortable the entire time.

She will provide you with a numbing spray if you know it will be painful which it can be for me, especially if it's your first time. I always take some ibuprofen before as well. I waited about 20 minutes before it was my turn, and I initially overlooked that. I clearly explained that I wanted shiny hair with color and absolutely no red. Instead, I received only a root touch-up, and the color was much too dark and had a noticeable red tone. She told me "gloss was built in the color" I also asked for my long hair to be styled because it was flat on top. Unfortunately, my hair was cut much shorter than I wanted, with layers poorly cut and choppy and I felt that what I had asked for was not really listened to. While my hair was still unfinished, two other customers came in. The stylist started a full color and foils on another customer while I sat waiting approximately 50 minutes for my color to process. My hair still had no real style when I was finished, yet I was charged $130. I ended up having my hair corrected at a top salon in Lake Oswego, where I paid $230 and received the service and result I had originally hoped for. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the combination of not listening to what I requested, the color being wrong, the haircut being much shorter than I wanted, and the amount of waiting made this a very disappointing experience. I'm sharing this because I believe the owner should know how the appointment was handled.

Absolutely peak quality wax and oils, on a level I have never seen in another waxing location, for even the MOST sensitive skin! Which is super important for me because I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and my skin is extremely sensitive and abnormally easily torn on a molecular level so when I say that I walked away with HAPPY, not irritated, skin after a full Brazilian wax, please know how remarkable this is! I have walked out of waxing appointments at other businesses bleeding on many occasions. Not only was Amanda exceptional in her knowledge and manner, she was thorough! I have lighter hair and generally have to point out missed patches to get a clean finish but when I checked everything -- NO NOTES! Then to top it all off she had an aftercare kit for me when I was checking out! And if all of that doesn't tell you how wonderful and wildly above standard quality this was, I was in and out in 22 minutes flat.
