After trying many salons in the area and not being satisfied I came across Bella Salon. I tried a random stylist and hit pay dirt! Jill A. is an excellent stylist. Not only is she talented, but she listens!! She is happy for me to show her as many photos of my hair from days gone by as well as pictures of newer styles. She's also honest about whether she feels it will suit my hair and just doesn't tell me what I want to hear. Jill is also fantastic at color, highlights, and lowlights. . My hair is very healthy due to the care she provides. She also gives an awesome blow out! Trust me when I say I'm very particular with my blow outs! She hits the mark! Indivual who serviced me was very judgemental and made the entire experience very uncomfortable. I know not everyone there is like that but or at least didn't use to be like that but this one just made me feel not mt best when leaving. They rushed the end of the job as well because their next client was there and I felt just unsatisfied. The inside of the salon is very nice looking but there is never anyone there unless they have appointments so no walk ins. Services vary person to person. And each ones prices vary as well as products used. They all do cuts and believe color but unsure. And not sure if they still have someone who does waxing. read more

Kim gave me a cleansing hydrating facial and light neck massage! WOW!!! After waiting for Covid to move along, I was overdue for skin care. Keeping your skin clean is as important to me as regular dentist and doctor check ups. Kim has a great touch, and will check with you to make sure that you're doing fine during treatment. Yeah one of their nail techs goes so fast and constantly burns me with the nail file. She also does them too thin and seems like she really doesn't GAF about her clients. My nails were just done yesterday and already broke.. .. if I'm going to pay $50 they need to last longer than a day. I'll be going back and requesting a refund. read more

I went to this salon because my husband gifted me a gift card from Groupon for a mani-pedi. The place was easy enough to find, the only slight con is the parking space, but it was not such a big deal once you enter the salon. The first impression I got entering was that all the staffers were pleasant, and friendly despite the decor giving the impression of a high end salon (where sometimes you just expect snobby attitude) and you just know you're going to be treated well. Michelle, the nail specialist, was awesome. She was super cool and knowledgeable and didn't mind answering questions. She also made me feel comfortable. And most importantly, it was probably one of the best mani-pedi I've ever gotten. I've never been that satisfied having a mani-pedi and for someone who's a cheapskate as I can be, I actually won't mind returning to this place again and paying more than what I'm used to for mani pedi because she just ROCKS. I had a prenatal massage with Liz, thanks to a LivingSocial deal. While I would have liked if they had a massage table with a cut-out for pregnant bellies, it was still really nice. Liz was super nice and used just the right amount of pressure everywhere, not too much, not too little. As to the salon as a whole, I had never been in there before but want to go back for a mani/pedi! It was so cute inside and very comfortable, well arranged. The prices seem decent and the staff that I interacted with were friendly. Lots of nice natural light and, since it is an old, renovated home, there are lots of different areas of the salon which is actually nice and more comfortable (to me) than just your standard one-giant-room salon. I did only see two pedicure chairs though so I wouldn't plan on taking a large group of people there for a group pedi. read more

I followed Darla to this lovely salon. She's been doing my hair for several years and nails it every single time. Darla is so talented and so sweet. You can bring her a picture from a magazine or on your phone and she can duplicate the style and/or color no problem. She listens and will only do what you want her to. I had my hair done in early May and I'm still getting compliments on it. Seriously, each week friends and strangers say how much they love it. The style is the same as always but she lightened it up per my request for something "fun and flirty for summer". Honestly I'm never sure what I want and rarely make bold changes. When I have a new idea for color she helps me find the right balance of tones and highlights and I always leave happy. I live near Beaverton but will travel to Gresham to see Darla at Bella Salon forever!! Also she works Saturdays and does amazing up-do's for formal occasions. I had a LivingSocial voucher for a 90 min prenatal massage with Liz. Redeeming my voucher was easy and the appointment was kept on time. Liz herself is warm and pleasant. The pressure she uses is just right but she reminds her client that she can ease up or go firmer if needed. You can undress to your comfort level. I went full Monty knowing that massage therapists are professionals and they won't laugh at my cellulite... But she left the sheet on for the thigh and bum massage. It was reassuring and the massage didn't suffer at all. So for those modest people, don't fret. You'll be covered. As a nail tech, I am super picky about how my nails are done. After 3 terrible, horrible, overly priced acrylic jobs on my hands, I found Janna Olsen, my new nail savior! She had me booked and in the very next day. She skillfully and gently removed those ugly little things off my nails. This is my first shellac experience and I'm loving it. She even repaired some chipped corners in order to preserve my natural nails and keep my natural length! Super talented, followed all safety and sanitation laws. I had a spa pedicure with Alexa today - it was my first appointment with her/Bella Salon. The salon is located in a quiet residential area, with parking along the streets. I was offered water, tea or wine before my pedicure started. The $40 spa pedicure is 1-hr long and includes callus buffing, scrub and feet mask. Alexa is pleasant and I really appreciated that she is not a chatter-box. The cushioned chair does not have massage capability and it does not slide forward/backward to accommodate different leg lengths. The pedicure foot basin has no whirlpool. The section of the salon that I was in for pedicures is small (2 pedicure stations) but tidy, with 4 magazines. It was very quiet, with no music or TV. The pedicure chairs are on a platform with 2 steps and a sign that asks customers not to use the steps without a staff's assistance. Alexa used disposable supplies to do my pedicure, which she gave to me to take home; they're included in the price on the first visit - otherwise, the cost is $1 on subsequent visits if you don't bring them with you. At the end of the pedicure, I was free to go immediately- some salons have their customers sit 10 - 20 minutes to let the polish dry. read more

I left a message asking for the potential of a nail appointment on Tuesday (that day) or Wednesday night anytime after 5 and left my number. I think I even repeated it twice. No call back! I thought maybe they were closed on Tuesdays? Nope, they were open! So I thought they would call me on Wednesday. I was wrong.
