If you want a real life mean girl to do your hair and make up, Jodie is it. Not only does she look down on folks she believes are "less than" her in some way, but she'll actually go out of her way to make you feel bad about that too; one time she actually poured an entire 20 ounce Sprite on someone's back in a very crowded space, then proceed to loudly say "oops", as she laughed so loud it made everyone in that crowded space notice what she did. Her, and her friend group thought this was cool. Jodie likes to judge tf out of, and, make fun of people who don't have designer clothes, wear make up, or otherwise conform to the same narrow beauty standards she must think are the only ways to be beautiful. I'm a mixed ethnicity person, so it was never a new experience to be treated poorly by women like her but, she went above and beyond the call of duty with her tactics. For further context, a friend of mine did very recently see her for a service, only to come out of it very upset, telling us that Jodie has not changed one bit. She was not only rude, apathetic and rough but she did not listen to my friends requests about what she wanted. This attitude sadly seems to be very common amongst a lot of stylists, where they do what THEY think is best, some will actually tell you no, that's not what they're doing. I concur, young people are mean, and sure, we all go through changes in life but at this stage in life it's clear she is just a rotten person to her core, who still feels it's appropriate to be this way. If you value someone who listens, respects others, and treats everyone with dignity, Jodie is not it.

People wanna know who they're booking with so they can vet their stylist and as a business owner she knows that full well. Very misleading and shady business practices. Not only did I just drive almost 2 hours for no reason in total. I now need to find someone else to do my hair that has some integrity for themselves. Glad I listened to my gut and canceled immediately when she told me my appointment was actually with somebody else on my way to the service. Book at your own risk.
