You must go in to see the staff there. They are friendly plus snacks Unlimited and they give you the space to try out all the eyeglasses frame and towards the end they will adjust the eyeglasses for you. The price is reasonable and very good staff! The frames are beautiful too! read more

I'm glad iLook has a new location in Flushing. I used to travel all the way to Chinatown to get my glasses and sunglasses but now I just have to walk a few blocks. The selection of glasses are great. I always wore the ones with nose pads but because Asians have a different nose/bridge the nose pads would dig too deep into my face and leave dents and scars. iLook has eyeglasses that are nose pad less and fits very well on my face. They call it the Asian fit. The prices are great and service is wonderful. They are knowledgeable helped me find the perfect pair of glasses in a short amount of time. The location is super modern, clean and they offer snacks and drinks for those waiting. During COVID-19 they scan your forehead to check your temperature and have you put some hand sanitizer on when arriving. They speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for glasses, sunglasses and contacts. The optometrist was also very super friendly and sweet. Needed a DMV eye test to renew my driver's license, so I called the Eye Solutions since that's where I got my last pair of glasses and the experience was great. I was told I could go to their other store on Roosevelt, ILook... so I made the appointment. Got there on time and an employee gave me hand sanitizer and took my temperature before we proceeded with my information. After all my information was sorted, he instructed me to wait in the seating area towards the back where snacks and beverages are available free of charge. Didn't wait too long. Doctor was so nice and explained everything, since she checked my eyes and not just the plain old read the chart you do at the DMV. In all, all the staff we pleasant and it wasn't a long wait. Almost forgot, I asked one of the female staff for a rubber band and she got me one without question or judgmental look. It was kind if random on my part, since I needed it to open my Insta360 camera selfie stick that was stuck. :D read more

This eyeglasses store has the best overall service ever. I have been wearing glasses for 20+ yrs and eyeglasses-hopping for many years. Never have I pondered upon such good customer service from the salesman to the optometrist. From the moment we walk in, we were greeted kindly by Raymond and assisted with so much patience by Stacy. Stacy was assisting us with such care and patience throughout the whole process. The doctor, Jennifer Wu, has the best bedside manner I have ever met. Dr. Wu thoroughly examined my mother's eyes and explained everything meticulously to both me and my mother, toggling between Mandarin and English. I will definitely come here for my own eye exams, prescription renewals, and their glasses from now on. I highly recommend people to come here for their glasses or eye exams! From the environment to the fantastic and professional customer service, iLook is the best optical store in Flushing. I used to go to a different one in the past, but I was disenchanted with the mixed customer service, and the glasses were ridiculously overpriced. The customer service here is so good. The staff will work with you to figure out your insurance coverage, and help you find the right glasses for your needs. If you have problems with your glasses constantly sliding down your nose, iLook offers "Asian fitting" frames. I did, however, have to ask about whether they offer other features for the lenses like blue-light filtering, scratch-resistant coating, etc, so if you're interested in those, don't forget to ask. Markup for special lenses seem to be insane. $250 for 98% blue-light filtering lenses(no other special coating other than that) compared to online EYEBUYDIRECT most expensive blue light filtering lenses $118. In spite of that, iLook is a physical store, has great customer service, and you can order with the comfort of knowing that you are getting glasses with the correct vision and specs. read more

Came here for contact lens exam. First time getting contacts and they made it an easy experience. After the exam they gave me a few pairs to bring home to try after teaching me how to put on and take out the contacts. I thought I needed a stronger prescription since I wasn't able to see street signs as clear as I wanted. They asked me to return and examined my eyes again and gave me another few pairs with the new prescription to try again. Just all around very responsible, transparent and upfront with the costs. Also free beverages while you wait is always a plus. read more

I have been meaning to check this place out as I was looking for a new optometrist (my current one was doing a bare minimum mediocre job) and I needed to restock my contact lens. I HAVE FOUND THE MECCA OF EYESHOPS AND EYE CARE. The customer service is impeccable from the moment I step inside to the moment I step out. Raymond, you rock! The inside is such a sleek space with beautiful display. There's a beautiful resting area with refreshments and coffee. And just very outstanding service. Dr. Jennifer is so amazing and she explained everything thoroughly. The eye exam was EXACTLY what we expect in an eye exam! Thorough, meticulous, and informative. My old optometrist did a fraction of what Dr. Janet did. I got an ample amount of trial pairs with my new 'script and they offered to order trials for a brand they did not carry. How nice! I left feeling like I was royalty ... but also left with a better understanding of my general eye health. My appointment ran smoothly, they deserve more than a five star rating for their service. The Optometrist was thorough in her exam. I was allowed to select and try as many frames needed to find my perfect fit. The Sales Rep. did not try and sell me any frames and or brands. She was honest with which frames best suited me.
