I need glasses this year and decided to try this place since it's much closer than my usual doctor. I saw that it had good reviews on yelp and google so decided to give it a try. Wow, amazing service. From check in, retina testing, eye exam and glass fitting. Everyone is so nice here and the service is top notch. Highly recommend, and actually told my parents they need to come here on their next eye exam visit. The thing that I also like the most was doctor was very informative about my eyes and when it came to glass fitting, I loved that there was no pressure on getting any specific frames they were pushing. It was very comforting that the person who helped me just wanted to make sure I like my glasses. Pricing was also very easy. She gave me options and was very transparent with what was covered and not. Again there was no pressure at all to upgrade lens to make them thinner so really appreciate she just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with whichever option I chose. read more

I assume you're reading this because you want to know the quality of service at this place. I can only speak from my own experience -- and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I would strongly advise staying away. Choosing this location for my new glasses was a mistake I truly regret. From the very beginning, things went wrong. I specifically requested a female doctor, which delayed my appointment by two weeks, only for me to be assigned someone else in the end. The billing process was inaccurate and did not reflect the actual services provided. When I questioned it, I was told it was a "mistake" and that "we're only human" -- which didn't instill much confidence. The overall service, the quality of the glasses (both lenses and frame), and the follow-up were all extremely poor. To make matters worse, I never received the follow-up call they promised. Perhaps this was an isolated incident, but for me, it was more than enough to never return. read more

There are several seats available for waiting I also appreciate how clean, bright and cute the waiting area is They also had a little corner with a giveaway for customers! This place is amazing!! The front desk receptionist is very sweet and the rest of the staff as well. Everyone is polite and professional. They're located in the heart of Bayside on Bell Blvd and it's a very busy area so good luck with street parking. Love the modern decor such a lively vibe. This visit was strictly for my parents they needed a new pair of prescription glasses and we were not disappointed at all. My parents were very satisfied as I have observed as well they're very attentive and take their time to ensure everything is good with your vision. My father loved Dr. Leung he was very professional and truly spent his time examining my dad's eyes. I came here based on good reviews because I haven't had an eye check-up in a long time! I set an appt via ZocDoc and found a nice small office with friendly staff and good covid precautions set in place. I appreciated how all the staff were properly wearing their masks and so friendly in greeting me. Dr Crystal Han was also really friendly yet professional-- I didn't feel rushed during my exam and she answered all my questions. After the exam, I was helped by Grace and she kindly helped me choose my frames and explained the different options I could get -- again with patience. Also, David helped me get my glasses asap (b/c I really needed them to study) and it was ready for me to pick up in a matter of 2 days (it was a weekend). The glasses were perfectly cut and proportionate, too. Overall I really admire and appreciated the staff's teamwork and hospitality throughout the entire process. Got glasses about a year ago Office visit was typical since i had script already. It was excessively delayed and they indicated it was lab. With a set of glasses that is over $1100, their service did not meet my expectations. If delayed, they should have offered me the opportunity to cancel or offered a discount. Arrived for my appoint after a 3 week wait (they get booked on Saturdays fast) and was told right before I saw the doctor that there is a mandatory retina scan for additional $40 co-pay. First of all, this was never mentioned when I called in for an appointment or in any of the forms they send you to fill. Secondly, why is this mandatory and not up to patient's discretion. read more

10/10 experience at Eye&I Care. I was a first time patient after selecting Dr. Leung through Zocdoc based on his positive reviews. Dr. Leung and the staff were incredible to work with. He provided a detail explanation of each exam and gave me useful tips I've never thought of doing before for eye drops. I loved that they had glasses to select from in person rather than going somewhere else to get a new pair. Based on holiday, I wasn't expecting to get my new glasses for about 3 weeks but they surprisingly came a week later. I went to Eye & I for my annual check up and things couldn't have gone smoother. Dr. Crystal Han was very thorough in her examination and overall was very kind. I also had some preliminary testing done with one of the technicians, which went very well. They do sell glasses but they aren't pushy or salesy, which was very refreshing. This is a small, local business that is taking COVID seriously as they do temperature checks upon arrival, have hand sanitizer readily available, and everyone is required to wear a mask. Overall, if you're looking for an optometrist in the Bayside/Northeast Queens area, I would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

I went to the eye&I to see korean Dr Han with a symptom of itchy eyes. Before seeing Dr. Han, they took a picture of my retina and started the examination by prescribing medication for allergy symptoms. Suddenly, she performed a visual acuity test, after the test I asked to do my annual tests glaucoma and intraocular pressure, then Dr Han said didn't have time to do them and suggested doing them next time. There was no explanation given for the retina exam or visual acuity test, and the amount billed to the insurance company was $550 for four types of tests and copay charged $10 more.This kind of unnecessary testing is causing individual insurance premiums to rise. read more

Amazing-I visited Dr. Crystal Han several times for my dry eyes, and I was consistently pleased and beyond satisfied with every visit. Dr. Han is very kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. With her help she recommended to me several treatments and also walked me through what contacts would be best for my eyes. Knowing that I was very concerned, she was and has been very patient throughout the different processes needed. The staff is sweet and welcoming as well. I also really like how they have a phone number that you can text regularly to manage appointments or communicate messages to the clinic.
