They were friendly and adjusted my glasses for free and they did warn me that if I have them adjust my glasses they are not responsible for any damage caused. However, if you have titanium frames, don't have them adjusted here, they don't have the experience to do it. They adjusted my glasses by taking them to the back of the store and returning after a while saying, "your glasses are now aligned." (With finality!) Glasses do not need to be aligned to fit a person's face well, because we all have different heads. They need to be adjusted to your head. My glasses have now been causing pressure point pain behind my ears. read more

Let me ask you a favor. We need more people to shop at this place... I go in here and it's quiet. Not sure if I should worry for their future, as I really like them. I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to eye glasses. They helped me pick a frame and got me a pair of reading glasses and a pair of progressives according to my prescription. Price was fair. Service was friendly. The place is cute and convenient. Got my glasses quickly. Here's where they really shine: I hated the progressives. Freaking HATED them. They told me I had... I think it was 60 days to return them if I wasn't happy. In that time, my dad was hospitalized for 3 weeks, wound up dying... we had the funeral, mourning... and by the time I was back on the road and trying to wear these damned glasses again, my 60 days were GONE. I bit the bullet though, went back and just asked them to change out the lenses for standard long distance lenses using the same frames. I knew I was going to pay... didn't even ask for a favor. I returned today to have the new lenses swapped out with my frames... it took about 5 minutes (I didn't realize I'd be able to wait for them and have it done so quickly), they're perfect now, and there was NO CHARGE. Freaking HUMAN BEINGS in this store, I tell you. Bravo! read more

They are understanding because I had to reschedule and I was late to my appointment. They greeted me by my first name and let me know the doctor would be right with me. After using the bathroom, the doctor checked my eyes, let me know I have a slight astigmatism and needed glasses. I picked the ones I wanted and I was out the door to enjoy the rest of my weekend. The owner/manager called after my review and asked what he could do to make it better. I told him about the incorrect pricing and services that should have been included in my plan. He explained he didn't know my plan well so that's why he made those mistakes. He offered to give me a refund and we agreed on a new fee. They took me right in and made sure to call my insurance so I would not be charged anything. Love, love this place! It is on the pricier side but I would go back just for the great service. Prior to coming here, I went to countless stores trying on all the wrong frames. After About 5 minutes of walking into Eyes on Bell, Eddie found a great frame for me by just looking at my face. He was very patient, thorough and informative. In less than a week and a half, I walked away with the first pair of glasses that I actually LOVED to wear! Also, the final frame was of a different material then the initial one we decided on, because of how thick my lenses are. So Eddie upgraded it for me to a sturdier and better material free of charge. Absolutely phenomenal customer service here. Eddie was amazingly helpful. My glasses broke but I also needed to get my eyes checked for a new prescription. I made an appointment to see the optometrist later in the week. Eddie asked to see my broken glasses and said he would try to fix them for me. Unfortunately they were beyond repair but he put my lenses into another pair of frames so I would have something useable until I get my new glasses. I was so impressed by this because I did try to go where I originally got my glasses from and they basically just told me there was nothing to be done. Eddie went above and beyond my expectations. These are what small businesses should be like! I had visited several optical places before coming to Eyes on Bell, looking for new glasses. Due to an unfortunate incident of my glasses breaking, I was at my last straw of finding a new pair that looked better- I was actually going to pay to have my prior frames replaced! I was worn out by the time I got here, but I decided to still give this place a shot! (I will admit I was nervous at first, expecting them to have a small collection of glasses). But their collection is EXTENSIVE! I just kept trying on many different sorts of glasses, and who knew, a person as picky as me, who was willing to pay $500 for a duplicate of my broken glasses, ended up finding a new frame here that was so much better! Eddie found something right within my rather low budget, and they look GOOD! He took the time to analyze my face shape, and knew his collection so well that every new frame I tried on was an improvement. Eddie is very talented at finding suitable glasses for any face. Come here for the customer service. I mean it. And on top of that, it was a 3 day turnaround! It was so easy and such a pleasure. His collection also includes Masunagas (which are rare to find in American Optical shops) and he told me there was more incoming! What a great establishment with such a friendly owner. Patient and personable- my money was well worth it. I plan to bring the rest of my family and friends back. Eddie has become my Optician for life. Eddie made sure I tried on various glasses after being informed about my frame preferences to verify that I had picked out the glasses that I wanted. What's more was that he would go to the extent of showing little efforts such as showing me how to clean my glasses properly and even adjusting my frame size so it won't be too tight or loose. Normally I only write reviews when my experience somewhere was negative, but my time at Eyes on Bell was so positive that I had to give props. I stopped in on a whim to find new frames for an updated prescription and was assisted by Edward. He was pleasant and genuinely eager to help, granted I was the only customer in the store at the time but his customer service was excellent and greatly appreciated. Edward is very knowledgable about the maker of each frame and was quick to let me know where and how each frame was fabricated (unknown to me many are made by hand). He is also up-to-date on trends which was helpful as I tried to choose which shape and size frame I wanted. Since Eyes on Bell carries higher end frames my total (including frames and lenses) was $350+ but the price range of his selection varies and I am sure he would be able to help someone with a smaller budget. I've recently been to this place to get a new pair of glasses and was blown away by the choices of glasses they carry. I have never in my life found a pair that perfectly fit my face well, it was either I just got them because of the functionality and price. I gave up on finding the right pair for me. However at this boutique looking store, I found a perfect pair that actually got me excited. I couldn't wait to pick up my new glasses. Now I feel confident about wearing glasses in my normal daily routines not just when I am driving because they are so comfortable AND looks good. They had wide range of choices even though from the first glance of the store, it made me think they might only carry certain high end brands because of the way glasses are set up. They actually carry nice price range of eye wears from something very affordable to the ones that are hand crafted. The store is spacious and relaxing versus other traditional eye glass shops, where there are just way too many glasses to look at - almost always overwhelming and stressful. It's funny to know that I never had once found the perfect pair in the sea of thousands of glasses in the past. The owner there seem to have really good taste and was super friendly. He told me to have fun by trying on many glasses as I wish which was a nudge enough to make me feel comfortable. I scheduled an appointment for an eye exam the week after and the optometrist was very helpful and her input on my eyes and vision were very insightful. I learned a lot! After being close to blind for years I finally called this place to make an appointment for an eye exam. Eddie was very accommodating and helpful helping me choose the pair of glasses I wanted. Broke my glasses of about 3 years, so I looked at the reviews of different places and decided to try this place. Eddie was fantastic. The moment I walked in he took my old glasses and informed me that even with new frames, the glass lenses were messed up, which I was aware of. I ended up getting both new glasses and reading glasses. He advised me things are slower due to Covid, but he managed to find a cheap pair of frames that fit my old glasses. I presented the owner with my AAA card and my drivers license and asked him if I could call AAA to get a car. My cell phone battery had died. He refused saying that he didn't want to tie up his phone line in case he got a sales call while I was on the phone with AAA. I finally needed to get eyeglasses and because I am Dr. phobic it took me three years but I went on yelp and eyes on Bell had such great reviews I decided to call to ask how this process is done( it been a while). I initially spoke with Eddie who explained that he was running a promotion at the time that the eye exam was free and that's good in itself because no one else had that and I also explained that I saw that his products were high end and I didn't have that kind of money to spend!! But Eddie assured me he had frames in every price range and I will be happy with my visit. I promptly booked an appointment on a Saturday which he was very flexible with times and had parking on Bell a major plus! I met with a lovely girl named Hannah who was a doll and showed me at least a dozen frames in my price range! Other people what they're getting vercasce(sic ) and I was getting the no-name brand but she didn't make me feel any less for that at all! You know how some stores go for the higher clientele and leave you standing there that was not the case at all! The I doctor in there was fantastic she was so thorough and caring and funny she put me right at ease! I told the girl Hannah that my daughter was coming in to help me pick out glasses and she greeted her wonderfully while I was still getting my eyes examined. Between Hannah and my daughter and myself I picked out the most beautiful eyeglasses that I could afford! They were ready in three days! I'm so happy with them they're beautiful the service was terrific and I think everybody should go here thank you Eddie and Hannah and I'm sorry I didn't get the eye doctor's name but you know who you are and you were terrific!
