Spicy tuna hand roll
Karen L.

Came in at 5pm and it was a good dinner to have right before a concert. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was solid, and reasonable for the price point. We got the set menu with 4 nigiri and 4 handrolls. The salmon truffle handroll hands down the best thing we had here. So much flavor and melt in your mouth goodness. Great casual experience that still delivers quality level sushi.

Melinda L.

Loved Iki Nori because their sets include both hand rolls and nigiri , huge bonus since most hand roll spots skip nigiri altogether. The fish quality was incredibly fresh, the aesthetic inside is beautiful, and the staff was hilarious and welcoming. Parking was easy too, with 1-hour validation. I got the Sunset Set plus their limited-time mixed hotate, uni, and toro hand roll featuring Santa Barbara uni, definitely a standout along with the salmon burrata. I love cheese so the pairing worked well. This dish was fresh, slightly acidic from the tomatoes, subtle sweetness as well as citrus from the sauce.

Iki Nori offers not only awesome food, but also wonderful service. The ambiance of the restaurant feels very warm and welcoming because all the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive.

Iki Nori keeps proving why it's one of my favorite hand roll spots in LA. Every time I come back the quality is consistent and the whole experience just feels dialed in. The rice is perfectly seasoned and warm, the nori is shatter-crisp, and the fish tastes clean and fresh. Nothing is drowned in sauce so you actually get the natural flavor of everything. The toro and scallop are must orders, but even the "basic" rolls end up being memorable because the balance is so good. The cocktails deserve their own mention because they are seriously that good. Thoughtfully crafted, not overly sweet, and they pair surprisingly well with the hand rolls. It's rare to find a sushi spot where the drinks are just as much of a draw as the food, but Iki Nori nailed it. What really makes this place stand out though is the team. Everyone is genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they care about the guest experience and it makes the whole meal feel fun and relaxed instead of transactional. Clean space, great energy, amazing food and drinks, and a staff that makes you want to come back. Iki Nori is the kind of place you end up craving again the next day

If you are in Hollywood or anywhere nearby you need to try this place. Yum, yum, yum!! Black cod avocado handroll was so good. Brody was amazing, from the moment we arrived such a pleasant and friendly person. The restaurant has bar sitting. Their freshest sea urchin nigiri it melted in our mouths. The atmosphere is amazing, super clean, just delicious yummy food. You have to try it.. salmon OMG there's salmon Burrata. I would've never thought Burrata and salmon would work like that, but it was divine. The A5 wagyu A5. Wagyu Beef Nigiri was majestic to my tongue. Stop by and try their sushi.

Yes yes please come here! Splurge for the Premium Hollywood set and enjoy some super high quality sushi. The Wagyu and bluefin toro nigiri are so delish. The service is also fantastic. Everyone is super friendly and good vibes. Darren rocks!

One of our favorite sushi spots. Delicious and the staff has an amazing energy too. No reservations taken though. My only recommendation is that they stay open all day.

I ordered the four special hand roll set, which was $48, so slightly on the expensive side. However, they use really high-quality ingredients, including caviar, truffle, and Uni, which really adds to the whole experience and also the cost. Their hand rolls are a little bit on the smaller side, but I still left feeling pretty satisfied from the meal. I also ordered the yuzuade, which has a really nice, bright, citrus taste, and it's sparkling and homemade. The service here is nice and prompt. I came here on a Friday at noon, and no one was here. I arrived 10 minutes early, because the Yelp waitlist showed an average 50 min wait time, but that was not my experience. They also have one hour free validated parking in the back.

The service, quality of fish and the space all exceeded my expectations! Great date spot for a casual but slightly elevated vibe. Limited bar seating so make a reservation in advance. The parking lot behind the building will validate for one hour.

The sushi bar itself is cute and on the corner of a building. Parking valet and structure staff were really nice. The vibe of the restaurant was modern and nice, with really friendly service. Sushi itself was really good, my favorite was the seared salmon and caviar tuna.

$48 for 4 special hand rolls that consists of salmon, tuna, scallop, Uni, wagyu. All hand rolls were flavorful and fresh. It's a pretty small sushi restaurant and Service was fast and attentive. There's a parking lot around the corner that's convenient

Amazing, highly recommend this place. Excellent sushi, great staff and fantastic drinks. Everything was fresh and high quality. The rice they use is not the typical white rice. It's fantastic. The seaweed paper was crisp and I loved how they did not use a ton of sauces to drown out the flavor. Definitely will be back!

Ana T.

Everything was delicious and fresh! They take so much care into making each handroll. The fish portion was more than enough and they really didn't cheap out on it. They are run by Indonesians but don't let that stop you from coming. They are super nice and friendly even gave us some freebies :) Not plenty of seats but my 3 people party got seated right away on a weekday night and they make the roll relatively fast too. There were only bar seats which makes it feel like an omakase. Price is the typical sushi/handroll place but it's worth to come on special days!

A5 Wagyu. Superb!

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

When I made reservations on the phone I asked about the latest reservation and confirmed 10 pm - however I asked if I could sit at the bar and they said not at that time since they closed at 11. When we arrived, there was a couple coming in at 10 and sat at bar...maybe just miscommunication but tha could have prevented us from consuming our food quick and skipping on alcohol since the table we got was not the best. Sushi felt very fresh and there's something about the way they make the rolls that feels different about other places (not sure if in a good way) Great staff and sushi chefs- they were super fast moving from one course to the next one.

While the fish quality here is great, you will get more bites that seem a lot more experimental with flavors and garnishes. I didn't like every single bite but I expected that. A lot more focus on creative cocktails and drink pairings instead of just sake or wine. This is a great place to try Japanese whiskey, they even have little lockers where regular patrons can store their expensive bottles they've bought for when they return, and you are welcome to grab an additional drink and chill in the space afterwards if you'd like. The chefs here were a lot more personable and fun with more of a bar vibe than a traditional omakase. Service was great, dedicated bartender was great, and though it's not the best sushi I've ever tasted, I would still bring someone back here for a unique experience. Brought my friend here for her bday and we left full and happy and a little drunk so I'd say it was a successful night!

Such a shame because otherwise it would have been a great experience. But I cannot excuse them for allowing these other guys to just behave so rudely, like Neanderthal, and not say a thing.

It's the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your meal, and have a good conversation. The food was consistently good. Service was another highlight--easygoing, attentive in a subtle way, and never intrusive. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that a few dishes didn't quite have that "wow" factor.
