You can't go wrong with IKEA. Not only are the prices unbeatable, but the quality is surprisingly good. There were two lines where you could grab food from. When we visited, they were still preparing a lot of the meals, so it took about 10-15 minutes to actually pick up what we wanted. The system probably could be a bit better, but we weren't in a big rush so it was fine. We ordered the salad which came with some smoked salmon (and I added some garlic toast for an extra cost) and of course had to try the swedish meatballs. Both of these dishes were honestly delicious. Every element of the salad was fresh and tasty, and combined made for such a good, balanced meal. I also absolutely loved the toast too, which was a perfect buttery, garlicy treat. And the real star of IKEA are their swedish meatballs and now I understand why. They're exactly what you want in a meatball, and paired with the other sides on the plate elevate them even more. After a long day shopping, this cafeteria is a must try!

I'm not mad at this restaurant at all but definitely furious with the so-called Yelp algorithm that is supposed to be good at not showing garbage reviews. There are many for this place which is bringing down the aggregate. Two sentences of nothingness is just stupid and those reviews should be completely thrown out. But I digress... I like to rate places based on the category they are in, so with Ikea having a cafeteria style setup, it falls into the same category as say, a hospital with the same layout. The biggest downfall for this location is the time it takes to get through the line. Is there really any point that it isn't busy? We have gone at what one would consider "non meal times" like 3 PM and yet, you wait 15-20 minutes. As you wind through the Disney-like queue, you are first presented with the desserts. This is all likely by design since your mouth is going to get tempted by the sweets before indulging on the savory and later forgetting the cheesecake or marzipan later on. Grab something, because they are usually no more than $3. Added bonus for sharing at the table later to avoid less calories. Then you head down past the drinks, just don't forget they have a great selection of soda fountains you've likely never tried, like pear. And now we're finally up to the meatball goodness. They came in all shapes and flavors, from veggie to salmon, chicken and horse....I mean BEEF! The beef have gotten up a crazy amount so I like to opt for the fish or chicken, but beware as the fish truly are fishy tasting. Grab a side or two if the veggies/mashed taters aren't enough for you. And don't be shy about asking for more lingonberry sauce or gravy. After checking out, you're shocked that two people have pretty massive meals for less than $20, and that includes a drink. Finding a table can be daunting at peak hours but for the most part, you can dine by the giant windows or on couches on the other side nearest the store. Return your tray once done and begin your shopping adventure or just leave after a nice meal, doesn't matter to the store at all. We've dined and not bought a thing or completely outfitted our place with $500+ worth of stuff. Pro tip: It's actually a fun date spot!

Came here to look for an office chair and got really good food instead! I was surprised by the quality of the food! It was very flavorful and worth the price. I use to come here when i was little to get the ice cream. Tried it again and wasn't impressed... maybe because it was fat free.. not a fan...

The IKEA Restaurant is a great place for great tasting food at very reasonable prices. This cafeteria style eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a very casual setting, similar to a large lunch room with lots of tables and seats. The restaurant opens daily at 9:30 am, 30 minutes before the 10 am store opening. My in-laws love going to the IKEA Restaurant very early to take advantage of the $1 breakfast (eggs, homefries, 2 sausage links) with a free coffee (before store opening). The fresh hot cinnamon rolls are sooo good here! The Swedish Meatballs here rock and I usually get the Managers Special (Swedish Meatballs Dinner) with a bottomless fountain drink from the self serve drink station including Pepsi products. I always get the ligonberry soda with my meal. Other tasty items served at the Restaurant include breakfast dishes (served until 11 am) such as scrambled eggs, Swedish crepes, Swedish waffles, breakfast sides, plus sandwiches, wraps, baby back BBQ ribs, salmon filet, vegetable balls, chicken meatballs, BBQ chicken, stuffed chicken, chicken tenders, fries, garden salad, soups of the day, garlic bread, and a variety of cakes for dessert. Get the chocolate overload cake! There is ample self serve table seating here and when you are done, you bus your own dishes and cups. Also, if your food gets cold, there is a microwave oven near the drink station to reheat your food and takeout boxes for leftovers too! TIP: The self serve fountain drinks with free refills in the Restaurant are $1.49 plus tax, using a plastic glass. For drink savings and flexibility, the self serve fountain drinks in the cafe near the exit are only $1 plus tax and you can also refill your paper cup in the Restaurant too.

EDIT 7/2019: $1 or free with card only applies to brewed coffee/tea. specialty coffees now $1.50 per, no refill.

cafeteria food quality, cafeteria food price. $2 breakfast with scoop of eggs, crepes, home fries, couple sausages. $1.99 waffles. $1.29 for 4 strips of bacon. lunch starts at... $3 perhaps? that's "horse" meatball with pasta. $3.5 for the slice of cheesecake, good portion and level of sweetness. free coffee/tea before 10am for everyone, and free for ikea family members (free joining, quick sign up at kiosk) after that. not sure when it was installed but now there's a coffee machine that makes you latte, cappuccino, and such. totally worth it at $0! would i itch to return daily? absolutely not. is it better than going to McDonald's? 100% with those ground to ceiling windows providing natural lights, and the furnishing in the dining area. now i even see a few take-out boxes above the microwave too! though i encourage everyone to get into a habit of bringing your own doggie bag/box with you everywhere you dine. do your part to save the earth, right? Mr. Kamprad would approve.

Looks so sad. 5 leaves and 3 pieces of salmon.

Cheap, filling, healthy depending on what you order. 12:30PM on a Thursday with two people working the front and two people working the back, there was a long line of hungry people that they had a hard time accommodating. Luckily the line snakes like Disney World and we all got to see the sad looking salads, empty shelves, and small slices of chocolate cake, cheesecake, tortes, and flip cakes. I ordered the salmon fillet on wheat pilaf/veggies which came with a soup or salad ($6.99) and by the time I reached the soup and salad area there was only a lackluster looking salad and empty soup pots. The staff behind the counter did their best to keep up with the refills but the lunch rush was just overwhelming. I got myself a nice bowl of corn and potato chowder. The salmon fillet was tasty though the color wasn't as pink as I'm used to seeing. The corn in the chowder wasn't very sweet. They're generous with the chicken meatballs ($3.99), pasta and meatballs ($3.99) was pretty mediocre, the apple cider ($1.99) barely tastes like apples, the blueberry cheesecake ($1.99) wasn't that great, and the mac and cheese ($1.99) looked incredibly sad. HOWEVER, for the price, convenience, and veggie options lunch at IKEA is pretty great.

It was beautiful, it was clean. But, my cheesecake wasn't exactly fresh, altho' it wasn't bad.
