Great wings, meats, with some salad
    Jay M.

Great lunch spot for healthy salad, veggies and dah meats . Brazilian style Meats sliced off hot the grill per the pound price . I had some sirloin , 2 chicken wings, and talked into some beef and bacon by the grill guy... Sirloin nice, tender, wings usually excellent.. these were small pigeon size , the bacon wrapped beef he talked me into the bacon wrapped meat well cooked to inedible.... Lesson learned is don't accept suggestions as he knew he had to move the slow moving burnt meat before it feeds his dogs... Usually excellent here, this was very good except the beef in bacon... my bad as should have stuck to my normal items... Help and employees all pleasant, 12.86 and add a soda still a decent lunch... they have someone keeping the tables cleaned and moving , all good here... the tar weight with plate vs styrofoam container and final price a mystery... how much per lb? How much weight? All loaded on plate is per lb price... a heavy potato item costs same as sirloin... Bargain is a pile of high quality meat and lightweight lettuce vs Wings, potato salad and a sausage

Authentic, Brazilian steakhouse that makes you feel like you're serving a plate at your auntie's house. The staff is very friendly and willing to offer recommendations on how to pair your meats. The food is delicious and a good value meal.

The food was great. It was per pound so I got a lil of every meat I wanted. The service is nice and simple. They come pick your plates up when you are done. Let you test out the meat if you've never had it. The ambiance is so simple in a good way. Not to much going on. Different variety of music and have TVs going. One for kids as well. The only thing I did notice and didn't like. They need to use different knives for the different meats. Pork knife Chicken knife etc. over all it was great

This is a really yummy hole in the wall Brazilian bbq place. My husband and I went for take out. It's all by weight with a salad bar, traditional sides like beans and rice and plantains, and then you walk up to the grill to select your meats. I tried chicken hearts, chicken sausage and chicken thighs. My husband got steak, spicy sausage and pork shoulder. The staff were incredibly friendly and the price was super affordable. The food was yummy but a little salty. We got all of this for under $30. This place is no frills but an authentic and delicious meal.

Quick food, delicious bites. Prices by the pound, total value. Grab your own drinks after your food for quick service.

OK... so I was here Friday and I'm back in Sunday... yes it's that good!! It really doesn't get any better, fresher or better quality.

Every time I'm in the Boston area, I always find myself at Minas! Their Brazilian barbecue meats are some of the best I've had both in terms of quality and price! Our favorites are the chicken hearts, picanha, and spicy sausage - all are super tender and moist, and incredibly well seasoned! Overall this place is a 10/10 - would highly recommend!

They have the option of all you can eat and they come around and offer all different meats cooked and cut fresh. We dined here a couple more times and loved it so much we had a friends anniversary dinner there a couple years later. Drinks were great and food was also good. It felt intimate and unique. We recently went again after a couple years and they expanded the restaurant, with a lot more seats. Unfortunately, they no longer offer alcohol (or at least not at the moment). This time we both just order a meal and not the all you can eat, and the food was... ok. I'm hoping it was just a one off and that they bounce back to the amazingness from before (really, we would rave about this place to people!) One plus is they have a buffet you can make a to go plate and pick your meat. While it is pricey per pound, it's better than other take out places. The sides change everyday, so it's always a surprise of what they will have. All that to say, we are up in the air about this place.. we are currently not recommending you run there, but we hope they get back to what we loved before, and then it would be worth a try.

Service was attentive and nice. However I noticed a few things... The servers carrying the meat weren't the most customer friendly. Overtly quiet, barely smiling or talkative. The manager scored major points for taking the time to visit our table, introduce himself and make sure we were taken cared of. However the manager did proceed to have a meeting with his servers near all the dinners. Overall, Fogo de Chão is great. Worth visiting if you're craving Brazilian BBQ or dining with a group.

The Brazilian Grill, Hyannis…read more My wife and I ate at the Brazilian Grill in Hyannis for lunch today. Short version: The restaurant is inviting, comfortable, and well laid out. The staff is engaging and friendly - even after my trying out the little bit of Portuguese I know! And, the food is plentiful and delicious! The value is tremendous! We are looking forward to going back again (maybe in a couple of weeks ) !! As we walked into the restaurant, we could see what looked like a pastry counter (they make their own cakes, flan, etc.) to the left and the massive "salad bar" directly ahead through an interior window. Once we were seated, we ordered drinks and the took a spin around the salad bar. That salad bar has so much more than salad! It is one of, if not the best salad bars I have seen. Sure, there were Caesar and garden salads with the usual toppings, but also hot options like "lobster soup" (like a bisque), squash soup, several fish dishes (cod, shrimp, etc.), some type of fritter that was delicious, polenta, mashed potato, sweet potatoes, etc. The cold options included veggies, cheeses, breads, various fruit, cold cuts including Prosciutto di Parma & pineapple, tabouleh, sliced mozzarella, tomato, and cucumber, seafood salad (muscles, shrimp, calamari, etc., tossed with a some veggies), hummus, chicken salad, potato salad, deviled eggs, and a dozen other dishes I can't think of at the moment. (See the attached pictures). What I sampled from the salad bar (both hot and cold) was excellent. The gauchos waited for us to return to our table. Soon after, they arrived with skewers of meat (Rodizio) ready to carve for our plates. They carve as you grab hold of the slice with what are essentially oversized sugar tongs. They will carve as much as you like from as many different meats as you like. They visited us multiple times... We had baby prime, prime sirloin, flank steak, homemade sausage (chorizo and also not hot), NY Strip, Filet, chicken wrapped in bacon, and a few others. After a while, we turned our signal cards over to show red (indicating Chega!, or "no more!"). We had a wonderful, leisurely lunch. No pictures of the Rodizio - I was too busy putting slices of meat on my plate! A gentleman seated at a nearby table heard us oohing and ahhing about the salad bar and the carved meats. He suggested we try the chocolate cake for dessert. We all laughed because we really didn't have room for dessert. But we ordered it anyway, and also a flan (I happen to love flan)! The desserts were amazing! We ordered a second piece of chocolate cake to take home! Our waitress brought us a small box for the meat trimmings for our dogs (and taught us the Portuguese word for dog), a box for some leftover dessert, and another box with the extra piece of chocolate cake, along with the bill. Since people usually ask, the entire bill (2 Rodizio, 2 alcoholic drinks, a coke, 3 desserts, and a generous tip) came to $175 including tax. An excellent value so far as we are concerned. Now, my wife and I have a standard for comparing restaurant bills on Cape Cod. It's based on a restaurant on the lower cape that was recommended to us a few years ago by some folks in this group, as well as by a local nearby shop owner who said it was good for burgers. At that restaurant, we each had a burger & fries (mine was a cheese burger). I also had a rather limp and unsubstantial side salad. We each had an alcoholic drink, and I had a coke as well. It was good, meaning not great - just "meh" or "OK." We did not go back because that "burger and fries" lunch came to $110 (all in with an average tip) ~3 years ago. Definitely not worth it. And so, it is how we judge good food/value... Today's equivalent (leaving off the desserts, adjusting the tax and tip accordingly to match the "burger and fries" lunch) was $140 (all in for steak and a substantial salad bar). Paying a little more for what we consider unquestionably and substantially better food and service is well worth it! No question that the pattern we have seen on Cape Cod continues: really excellent food for ~$30+/- more than just "OK" or "meh" food of lesser quality and average service.

No off cuts that would scare away those intimidated by some of the more rustic ingredients that are sometimes found in feijoada. There are beautiful ribs and delicious smokey flavor here and nothing to fear or peck at. The condiments. The chef from São Paulo has a real mastery of condiments. His salad dressing will literally turn you into a salad person even if you don't enjoy or typically opt for a salad. There is a little vinegar-based pepper condiment for the feijoada that perfectly balances the wieght of the dish. Don't sleep on any of the little liquids in plastic cups that are served to you. They are all gold. The few issues I've had are regarding communication to customers. I've driven to the restaurant during normal business hours THREE times in a row to find them closed. On two occasions they closed early because it was a slow day. This is especially odd because their hours are lunch-focused as opposed to dinner focused. This is common in Brazil but I feel a little out of place in the U.S. Being closed for dinner is not great, in my personal opinion. Another time they were closed for participating in a culture festival, which is wonderful, but when I called before coming there was no automated message or any type of communication at all informing me that they wouldn't be open that day. It was irritating. Despite the above, when you can make it in, call to make sure they are actually there, and your visit will be well worth it.
