Very good Steak House. Very tasty steak, friendly staff, clean and clean place. I recommend to everyone.

MEAT! MEAT! more MEAT! Buffet sold by the pound. Surprisingly, our total tab for three (including second helpings) was under $50! Traditionally prepared over a fire, meats on these huge skewers that I think are meant to resemble swords? Simply prepared meat that is grilled over an open fire, Gaucho style. Got beef, lamb, chicken, pork and sausage. I requested my meats medium rare but all the cuts were pretty much very well done. Although flavorful, the doneness made them a bit chewy. The best thing I discovered here was the "sauce" made from chili peppers drenched in olive oil and just a little sprinkle of vinegar. That was really awesome over the grilled meats. Really great Feijoada (stew of beans, mostly ham in their version, and piping, scald your palate and tongue, HOT). Great sides of pickled beets, black beans, corn off the cob - all very well seasoned, not spicy. Also a great variety of salad fixins' all very fresh and crisp, and fried plantains (those are my favorite at any buffet). Fantastic desserts: got these little bonbon like bites of Doce de Leite - NOT anything like the caramelized Dulce de Leche desserts - this is creamy, still pristinely white, almost like biting into a solid bite of milk really (for FIlipinos: tastes and has the mouth feel of those Pastillas de Leche which are made from Carabao's milk!) Also available with coconut). Budin is the name for their smooth rich Flan - again familiar to Filipinos as your Grandmother's leche flan, made with more egg yolks - a thickened custard with milk, not that jiggly almost unpleasant soft Flan that I've had at other non-Brazilian places. There also was a Chocolate cake but not the dark rich kind, light colored , with a dense rich cream filling. That was just OK for me, not a must-have. Frequented by families with little children, working class people, a few businessmen in suits. Many seemed to be "regulars" here. Glad I went. Obrigado, Terra Brasilis!

Giant strawberry covered chocolate and brigadeiro. Soo good!!

This is one of my favorite places to go to in downtown Framingham. Everytime I go I can't resist the Brazilian soda guaraná.

It even has a fireplace which I imagine is a cozy addition in the winter. If you're lucky, you might even hear the commuter rail rush by during your meal. The service at the restaurant is great with the servers being incredibly attentive. To start us off, we were given a bowl of cheese bread - these were addictive and super tasty! I had to control myself and turn down the offer of another round because I didn't want to get too full on bread alone. As for the meat, servers make rounds around the dining room with various grilled meats that they cut off for you right at the table. They come by every few minutes so you will never be left waiting long. My personal favorite was the top sirloin! I do wish there were some more exotic options, such as chicken gizzards / hearts as I've had at other Brazilian restaurants. The buffet area had some good dishes. I appreciated the salad section and side dishes to help offset the heaviness of the meat. I do wish that the buffet area was larger and had more variety, but overall I was happy with my food. I did feel that the restaurant was a bit expensive and was a little disappointed to see that there were no free dessert offerings included in the buffet price. I would come back but only for truly special occasions as it was pricer than other AYCE places I've been.

"There's one thing I'm certain of Return, I will, to old…read moreBrazil" (Frank Sinatra) I've been to a few Brazilian steakhouses over the years, but I'm not really sure I've ever been to a full-blown real deal Brazilian restaurant before we had lunch at Boteco do Manolo yesterday. I say "real deal Brazilian" because the restaurant chain has 12 locations in Brazil, concentrated in Rio de Janeiro shopping centers. The Framingham location is one of the seven located in the U.S. Our server was a young man from Brazil, and since it was our first visit, he spent a lot of time going through their large menu. The restaurant serves family style portions (which are quite large), regular sized portions, appetizers, meat/chicken/seafood entrees, pasta and rice dishes, and a lunch menu. We both went to the lunch menu and ordered a special at $19.90 each. I went with the Peixe Grelhado (Grilled Mahi-Mahi Filet in a caper-butter sauce) served with a mountain of mixed vegetables, white rice and black beans. Seriously, that was a lot of food and much too much for a lunch, so half of it sits in my refrigerator as we speak. There were bottles of olive oil, olive oil with hot peppers, and Tabasco on the table, plus packets of mayonnaise. Those hot peppers nestled in the oil caught my eye, so I cautiously sprinkled some on my plate, and I was glad I was so cautious because it was damned hot (but yummy). My wife ordered the Frango Com Salada (Grilled Chicken Breast with salad) served with white rice, pico de gallo, and black beans. After we ordered, Alex came back to our table and said the lettuce intended for the salad didn't pass his inspection, so he offered us a different side order. We ordered French Fries instead. My fish and my wife's chicken were excellent. They were good-sized portions that were well seasoned and well cooked. My rice and beans were very good and that big pile of vegetables really went well with that volcanic pepper oil. Club soda was a very reasonable $2, so our big lunch ran $42 before tip with plenty of leftovers. If you're ever in the mood to enjoy, or try Brazilian food, travel to Framingham if you can't make it to Rio de Janeiro!

The steak, featuring picanha, of course, is delicious; however, this is not a churrascaria, so don't expect to be visited tableside by mountains of meat. We ordered primarily the petiscos and they were just like what you would get at those city bars. This atmosphere is more of a huge flashy restaurant with attentive service and gringos in the minority. Still, it can get crowded and noisy. Don't miss the frango a passarinho (fried chicken crispy yet NOT breaded), and the many combos including picanha, sausage, etc. Add the yuca fries and savor the side of fluffy farofa. Turns out this is a chain with a couple places here, at the Cape and Framingham, but a dozen in Brazil. Yet "pretty, pretty, pretty good!"

We chose all you can eat because we love Brazilian and knew we would be back for some more of that delicious meat. It was ok at best. The bacon chicken and garlic steak were the standouts. Everything else was under seasoned or very dry. My husband kept saying how little effort they put in to everything. No salt and pepper on tables. No napkins nearby. No one comes and takes plates or checks on you. You are just left to figure it out yourself. There are plenty of better places that I would choose over this one.
