It seems to be a takeout only place, we walked in and there were no tables or chairs, only the ordering counter and the kitchen in the back. The guy working the counter was super friendly and patient while we considered our options. I got a barbacoa bowl - the beef was very tender, and the mexican rice was what set this place apart from its competitors, very flavorful. I went to Fuego tonight for the first time and it surely won't be the last! I ordered a chicken burrito and it was really delicious! It was a lot, with generous amounts of very tasty chicken. You can choose many toppings, etc. I liked how all the contents were cut or diced to the same size and consistently distributed, you get all the flavors in each bite. Well done! read more

Food is really good here. Cant believe I passed them by so many times. The kitchen looks clean. The rice bowls are amazing with the many options to choose from for fillings. Tacos were amazing and everyone in my family seemed to enjoy their choices. They should update the yelp page with a phone number because I wanted to call one day to confirm they were open and according to the hours it should have been open but it really wasn't. Seen someone else post about the same issue. Other than that I've had great food experiences. Friendly service but I feel rushed when I'm trying to think of what I want. I don't anticipate this being an issue once you know what they offer. Do not hesitate to try the food here. It is worth it and I now prefer it to the neighboring businesses that offer similar food. I was very excited for a burrito shop to open up in Norwood center. Definitely needed! The staff was all super friendly and customer service is superb. I enjoyed the veggie quinoa option. It tasted pretty good! But I have to knock them in a few places: Food: 1. I don't think the tortillas were steamed. They didn't taste as authentic as the ones I'm used to getting at burrito places in the city. 2. The cheese was the shredded cheese you can get in the grocery store. Not sliced and melted on. 3. Sauces - the pico could use some work and the salsa verde lacked spice. Covid-related: 1. No hand sanitizer anywhere in sight. This is unfortunately now a necessary part of running a restaurant during covid times. 2. Super long line inside to the point where it felt unsafe. But I'm glad they're getting this kind of business. I want this place to be successful and will give them another try in a few weeks. But I really hope they put some work into their cheese and sauce game. read more

At this point, I think I've ordered from them at least a dozen times since they opened. Every single thing I've had has been carefully and diligently prepared, tastes like it was made well and with fresh ingredients, and has the distinct feeling of a labor of love. Their meats are very flavorful and tender, especially the chicken; the corn tortillas are just the right degree of crispy and forgiving; the salsas give you a wide range of flavors from sweet to pungent to smoky to spicy; and their chips and dips all taste just salty enough to go perfectly with the adult beverage of your choice back at home. We've tried this place a few times. Ive gotten a burrito, quesadillas and a burrito bowl. Everything has been great but I absolutely LOVE their quesadillas - super thick and not at all greasy. If I had one complaint, it's that their meat is SO SALTY. I found I almost needed sour cream to drown out the saltiness. I also wake up dying for water in the middle of the night. Other than that, it's clean, convenient, delicious. Will keep coming back but hoping they tone down the salt. read more

Finally got around to trying them out. I am glad there's a burrito place in the area now. I've only heard good things and they lived up to the hype. The burrito was rolled perfectly and it did not fall apart. I've had burritos at other places that are not rolled properly, which isn't always bad unless you are eating on the go. Their food tasted great. I was a little late picking it up and it was still fresh. They mix the ingredients throughout the burrito unlike some places that have all the rice on one side and meat on the other. For example, the guacamole in my burrito wasn't all stuck at the bottom, top, or middle of the burrito. Each bite was all of the ingredients in one. They are a game changer. read more

I loved the Mexican spiced quinoa veggie option but lately they used vegetarian meat substitute instead, which was still good but not as tasty as the quinoa.
