Overall a cool little place in the middle of the retail Mecca of route 27 on the Stoughton/Brockton line. While I couldn't taste everything on the menu, from what I did taste and did observe being served the food tasted and looked wonderful. Big +. The atmosphere was something like that of Cheers on steroids where the barmaids and the customers seem to prefer yelling or speaking at very high volumes across the whole bar to each other rather than having intimate discussions. Definitely a local's place where everyone knows your name, your business and all your ex-spouses. Overall I would go again for the food and maybe for the atmosphere if I wanted that Super Bowl energy. read more

The service was terrible with it taking forever for me to receive my food, the staff was rude, and I just felt unwelcome being there I was being shot dirty looks and it was very uncomfortable. Nice sports pub, we went on a Friday night and it was pretty loud in there, but kinda what you'd expect from the type of place it is. The burgers were very good and big in size. The fries were good as well, but the pickle could've been pickled a little bit more, still had a strong cucumber flavor to it. Overall good place with good food at very reasonable prices. read more

Rude staff. Food was good but it was bagged up to-go while we were sitting down eating. We did not request this and it threw us off.

Hickory Dickery Dock , the mice run all up the wall , even when full of customers!!! I was at a table and actually saw 3 mice in a matter of 10 minutes, if I saw 3 you know there are a lot more . Food is basic at most,pizza is pretty good. I don't think I will be going any longer! The owner Pete ran a tight ship, but sadly he passed away this year. We used to like the servers and bartenders, but not with Mice taking over the bar! Do better!! Also it was a Friday night, and we have gone just about every Friday till this year, food is hit or miss and now with the added atmosphere of mice walking around like they own the place, I will be going elsewhere. Too bad because the place is cozy but some upgrades are needed!!! read more

You can't go wrong ordering any food from their menu and the daily specials. We went to Mickey Malone's 7 times in a matter of 4 days. The baked haddock,baby carrots,hot dogs served with potato salad and coleslaw, steak tips and loaded baked potato,meatball pizza and the grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup were what we had over the course of the 4 days. My brother came from Dorchester for a visit so we had to take him and he is fan of Mickey Malone's now. All of the food was very good and the prices are right. The servers and bartenders are attentive and friendly even when they are running back and forth taking care of other customers. This is our go to for consistently good food and service. read more

Great local place!! We were at a basketball tournament in the next town over and needed a place to hit up for a quick dinner in between games. We just ordered some apps (wings and nachos) and they were both good. The other items on the menu looked great and prices are definitely reasonable. Draft beers were cold. Service was friendly and prompt. If we are ever back out that way, we'll definitely be going back. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place! It's in the same parking lot as TJMaxx so it's huge and you'll never be left looking for a space to park in. When you walk in there is this huge rectangle shaped bar with plenty of stools and booths to sit in all around it. They have hooks under the bar to hang your purse which I always love. My friend and I sat at the bar and 1 of the 3 bartenders came right over for our drink order and gave us a menu. These bartenders were fantastic! You could see all night long how hard they were working to make sure people weren't without drinks, serving food, taking keno slips, cleaning up etc. There were about 10 beers on draft that I could see. I also was really impressed with the menu and the prices. I ordered the baked Scallops with baked potato. Wow!! This dish is fantastic! The crumbs on top were so delicious. I think it was crushed up Ritz crackers with seasoning. Sooo good! The scallops were big and juicy and there was plenty of them to fill you up. The only thing I was looking for on the menu that wasn't there was a veggie to add to the side but I was full after eating anyway so I didn't really miss it. I was happy to see plastic ketchup bottles too. Not those hard to pour glass ones. Tons of tvs all around. Your not gonna miss seeing a game here no matter where you sit. Keno, all or nothing and the lottery to play. There's an outside space that's pretty big with bean bag and ring toss games to play. A few tables with umbrellas and a few benches too. Bathroom was clean with plenty of T. P. and also a hook in the stall for your purse. I am in love with this place and can't wait to go back again and again. read more

Sports bar with keno and the numbers game! The food is all reasonably priced, and the service is really friendly. The food didn't knock it out of the park for me but you can have a meal and drink for under $15. The waitress recommended the baked scallops, the stuffed quahog and the clam chowder. I've been here a few times prior to the whole covid thing and sat at the bar. Yesterday was my first time dining in a booth. The food was really good. I even asked for chicken to be added to my nachos which they did without hesitance. My server Marisa was amazing!!! Super friendly and very attentive. Our drinks were never empty and we never had to ask for anything. Everyone was wearing masks when not seated and I saw my server use hand sanitizer multiple times in the short amount of time I was there for dinner. It was a great experience. The guy is cutting back portions and increasing prices on "pub grub" Now that the rule of having to buy food to be served a beverage - go for a DRINK - NOT - the low grade crap food - grab a Wopper for $6 across the street = better quality, better value for the $$$ too read more

Came here tonight because we wanted to go to a place that wouldn't have children. Score! First we had drinks, my husbands beer was like 20 ounces and my jack and coke was half coke and jack..yay! For an entree my husband got the steak and I got the Mickys salad with bourbon turkey tips, it was all fabulous! I can say we liked our servers, they were both pretty blonds and took care of us. This place gets a 5 for me for this specific night for many reasons. First off, the place had a good atmosphere. Walking in felt comfortable. Simply like a normal bar / restaurant. I thought it would be rowdy, crowded, and just awkward. It wasn't at all. The place gets bonus points for being open on Easter Sunday. I was at the bottom of the barrel for the week in funds until tomorrow and just wanted a nice "Easter Dinner" to myself. (As I didn't go anywhere.) This place made me happy that they were open when it was important that I get some food and a good drink. The service was fast and friendly. The bartender, Sean (or Shawn) was polite, quick, efficient, and handled a decent sized crowd by himself. He also, on top of making drinks so obscure they needed to be looked up, and juggling the Keno machine... handled a belligerent customer who was acting rude to the customers next to him. My requests for Keno were met promptly, which is rare since most crowded bars with a single bartender give it the last priority, or ignore it outright. Not here. He got my games in time as fast as he could. The wait for the pizza wasn't too long. It did take awhile for him to get around to handing me the pizza as I saw it sitting there waiting for me, but he was handling tons of people at once that I could tell he had a system for the order of which he did things to keep organized. It was understandable. The pizza was delicious. It wasn't breathtaking, but it was good enough for me to devour in under 10 minutes with no complaints. The drinks had their ups and downs. A Guinness runs you about 6 bucks. (Which is the norm for some places, but there's a few bars next to it that sell for $4.) I got a Harpoon IPA and it was a tall glass, that ran me about $5.50ish. (At some places, a tiny glass of an ipa will run you that much, so this was good.) Overall my visit was friendly, efficient, and after reading some reviews, unexpected. Give the place a shot if you're in the area. It was worth taking a chance on it tonight! read more

Since Sidelines became Doyles on Carey Hill, it seems the clientele came here and made it their own new Sidelines. Comfortable, neighborhood bar/pub with lots of regulars. This place is a real hidden gem! Surprisingly inexpensive and well clean with a lot of TVs, a huge bar area, excellent tasty food, an amazing service and great staff, especially our waitress Nicole, who was very attentive with my boyfriend and I, despite being the only waitress working a Friday night, she worked the entire floor flawless, and even though the place was packed she never left us unattended. They have a good and very cold beer recommendations, and the team selects awesome local and seasonal & brews for the tabs. My boyfriend's a big fan of specialty cocktails, so for him the right amount of flavor and alcohol is very important, and they use the perfect amount in every cocktail. This is probably my favorite place to go to in Brockton. The food is delicious, from the clam chowder to the burgers. My only complaint here is no Reuben sandwich on the menu, but that's okay as there are many other options. The beer list is your standard list, a rotating tap of a specialty beer would be nice, and no I don't mean rotating Sam Adams' seasonal beers. The bartenders are always attentive, whether it's playing Keno or grabbing another beer. They're usually good at recommending items off the menu as well. There's a tv usually in view, and booths surround a large u-shaped bar. The clientele is a mix of old timers and younger patrons. There is plenty of parking as well. No cash machine inside, but there is a Bank of America nearby. read more

First time at micky's. Great burger, excellent value, customers at the bar were fun...the bartenders SUCKED. I walked into the pub alone and sat down at the bar and waited. And waited. A looong time. They were a little busy and im patient, so no problem. But the two young women behind the bar walked by, looked at me, talked to the neighbors, drank sodas and didnt say a word.. i sat there so long it was funny, except I hadn't eaten all day. Eventually, one of the servers, an older dark haired woman from outside the bar saw me waiting and asked if I'd been helped. I told her no, so she came around to take my order. She was efficient. I had a great time except for the piss poor service of the two bartenders The only acknowledgement I got from the blongs was at the end when one handed me the ticket. No 'thank you', no smile, 'can i get you anything else'...you know, sometimes I hope for average service; the kind you might get from the pasty white nerd at 3 am in the 7-11 the day before he's fired for stealing frozen burritos. What gives. I should have tipped the one dark haired woman personally. Later this summer when im back in Bockton with my crew I'll be sure to give everyone else the biz, but micky malones. Been meaning to try this place for awhile, and I'm glad I finally did! It's a true "tavern" (something I really like), and the staff was friendly and attentive. My friend and her daughter had grilled cheese and tomato soup-and it was definitely homemade and delicious-not from a can. We shared a Caesar salad also, which was very fresh. I originally gave this place four stars hence my review that I removed, However this quickly changed to one star. I called to put in a pick up order and a lady puts me on hold for six minutes with no answer and and I happened to already be at the restaurant so I hung up. I said something to the bartender about being on hold for so long and he didn't even knowledge that I was on the phone waiting for six minutes. then I was sitting there for five minutes with the menu closed ready to order and he walked by me three times and didn't even acknowledge me- I walked right out.
