Within the space of 1 week of having been very lightly used, we are seeing major scratches on the surface area. It seems like the finish is completely lacking, normally wooden tables are at the very least finished with a scratch-resistant coating. The table is clearly advertised as "Wood is sealed for protection and longevity". I find the fact that scratches appear so easily, so quickly irreconcilable with the product specs on the website. My wife and I reached out to CasaLife support only to be berated by the owner who told us to 'stop abusing' our table and accused us of "negligence". We have been very careful and our other wooden furniture (including multiple tables) have not been so delicate, or easy to scratch. Highly recommend going to CB2 or Create & Barrel and not CasaLife for any wooden tables.

We were waiting to hear back from them so we could come pick up the money and when we heard back from them we were told that they're not interested any longer in purchasing our table and we are to come pick up the table. We had turned down another interested party at a lesser offer but nonetheless still turned it down because we received the offer from this business. And now we don't have any of the money we don't even have the table at this point because it's still sitting in the store that wanted to purchase it. We have to find time to go pick it up. Looks great and has functioned perfectly since its installation five years ago. Later had a lampshade recovered; now looks better than new. Turn of the Century Lighting does not do the actual installation of fixtures; you have to find your own electrician. Old ceiling connection was not up to current code but electrician was able to fix that.
