I've browsed online photos of the new store, and it appears to have the same variety and quality of great china, housewares, decor and gift items that the Bayview Village location has to offer. I have spoken to staff on the phone here, and they were very courteous in answering my inquiries about the additional location. Based on the "flagship" location, I can honestly say it's a great shopping experience. You can take a look at the reviews for a better idea of what's involved there. The one woman who was manning the shop was incredibly welcoming. Didn't rush us and tolerated a 4 year-old wandering around (and rearranging a few arrangements). The items are on the pricier side but seems like a good quality. We didn't find anything for the person we were looking for but bought a beautiful hair clip for our nanny. I would certainly wander thru again if I didn't have anything specific in mind.

You just have to go again and again. One day recently, after a matinee performance at the theatre, we dropped by and found exactly what we were looking for. Could it be that larger sized stock doesn't move as quickly in the downtown core? Or were we just sublimely lucky? We were out with our purchases within minutes hauling them to our parking spot at the Eaton Centre. So people looked at us a little funny as we toted our furniture across Yonge street. I'm sure they have a pick-up area for this store, but sometimes big sis and I do things a little differently. It's just more fun that way.

When the staff saw us looking through the book they helped us, but not in a pushy commission-earning sort of way. We ended up not finalizing our order elsewhere, as Joshua Creek was extremely helpful in helping us match chairs to our server and dining table. They not only explained how the ordering worked, but looked at our samples to suggest the best way to ensure we were able to match our maple and cherry furniture to our new chairs. The great thing too was we did not have to waste time and haggle on price. We had price shopped the Handstone chairs in numerous places and pricing varied greatly, and we were offered an extremely competitive and reasonable price right away. Our chairs arrived and were excellent, except for one. The stain and grain was substantially different. Joshua Creek took this as an opportunity to earn our loyalty in the future. Not only did they acknowledge the issue, but they picked up, sent back, and re-delivered a proper and fixed chair. In this day and age I find stellar service is hard to find, and it was great to have this taken care of. Although 6 chairs is not a big purchase compared to what some may buy, I appreciate they treated me as a valued customer and went above and beyond. I was extremely impressed to the point of deciding to write a review. I will certainly come back, if not for the quality then for the excellent customer service offered. I feel confident buying at a place like this which stands behind what they sell instead of simply taking your money and making you deal with concerns. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made it a great experience.

A truly outstanding customer service experience…read more I had wanted to replace my sofa, and was willing to invest in something custom. It was a mixed bag of experiences visiting other local furniture and design stores, and it was almost on a whim I gave Kendall & Co., a call -- I'm so glad I did! From that initial phone call, through the consultation, the ordering, and the delivery, every aspect of this journey was top-notch (even given the challenges of supply chain issues these days). The designer I worked with, Kevin, was knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to deal with (as was every member of their team throughout the process). And every step of the way I was increasingly confident I had made the right decision in trusting them with the design and creation of my new couch. The couch was delivered today and it has exceeded every expectation I had. Kendall & Co., will be my first recommendation to friends and family (and even random strangers) when they ask where they should go to check out great interior decor and furniture.
