The Country Chicken pancake tacos were really good. Chicken was tasty & pancakes were perfect. Needed the gravy that was supposed to be on there, but the easy tasty fix was syrup. The Breakfast Pancake tacos were good pancakes were perfect, eggs were good, the bacon had a weird flavor.

My son and his family were in town for the holidays. Before we took them to the airport, we stopped at IHOP for some breakfast. We couldn't have been happier. Our server, Jessica, was wonderful. She was friendly, helpful and attentive. My 14 month grandson can be a bit... messy? Jessica took it in stride and made an extra effort to get him what all he needed. The IHOP breakfast menu is an American classic, lots of choices for any taste. I had the Senior Sampler. One of all the classics (egg, bacon, ham, sausage, hashbrowns and a pancake, too. Quick service, and the booths all gave the feeling of being separated from other diners. Perfect in our age of the pandemic!

On Christmas Day I wasn't in the mood to cook a big breakfast-so I hopped on door dash to see what was open! IHOP was one of the first restaurants to pop up as being open close to me. I poked around on their menu and ran across their family deal. French toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and hash browns for $40 and it feeds four! Yes please! I'm usually not an IHOP gal but my kids and husband enjoy it. The price sold me..but the quality not so much.

The Big Lion was a generous portion, and we loved having different bread options to choose from. The California Cubano was probably our least favorite -- the fries were great, but the sandwich itself leaned a little too salty for our taste. It wasn't bad by any means, just not the flavor profile we were expecting. The Sunrise Burrito was the star of the show! The potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and it had some of the most delicious avocado I've ever had. Absolute perfection -- we'd come back just for that burrito alone. The coffees were excellent too -- strong, flavorful, and not overly sweet (no "syrup with a splash of coffee" here!). Overall, we were very satisfied. Our total was around $88 for three people, which is actually a pretty solid deal in Ventura. The service really stood out as well -- they were incredibly accommodating with our stroller and even made sure to keep the door closed since we were seated near the entrance so our baby wouldn't get cold. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot. We'll definitely be back!

The saltiness of the chorizo complimented the buttery biscuit and perfectly runny poached egg. Highly recommend the strawberry and cream croissant French toast!! So deng good, not too sweet, light n fluffy- didn't even need to use maple syrup. Wasn't a fan of the Brie Bacon Omelette. The cheese wasn't fully melted and it overloaded with blackberry jam in the middle. Their espresso and Cute as a Cucumber brunch cocktail were both delicious. It took a while to get our order, not sure if it was because we were in a booth that was tucked into a wall and were out of sight, and also took some time for them to come back with our receipt when we paid. Nothing that would stop me from coming back :)

The decor is crowded and not cohesive. It feels cluttered. The tables are and walls and seats are sticky even when clean. It just all seemed a bit...dingy. They had that fun little peg game to play to keep you busy but half of them are missing pieces and they are also really dirty. We ordered hot chocolate (yum) and some basic breakfast items. My husband really liked his items. He said he would give his at least a 4 stars, but this is my yelp review lol. My food was very bland and not flavorful. I could have made the same thing at home. I don't mind spending money. In fact, I love going out to a good breakfast, but it has to be a good breakfast. If it's subpar it's really a waste of money and calories for me and that what I feel this experience was. I think I got "crunchy" French toast and it had mildly soggy corn Flakes on it. The idea was fun but the execution wasn't great. My husband simply ordered meat, eggs and potatoes. It was okay, nothing to write home about. Take what I say with a grain of salt and maybe try it for yourself. It could have been an off day for the kitchen or staff? Personally I don't think I will be back or recommend but I can tell you there were clearly regulars here that day and they do have quite a reputation so at some point they have done something right.

Absolutely perfection. My mom ordered the chilaquiles and immediately said they tasted like they were made with love -- and honestly, so was that Michelada The food portions here? Massive. The "you're definitely leaving full and possibly needing a nap" kind of massive. Every plate passing by looked delicious, and everything we tried tasted even better. And please -- don't forget the beignets. Pillowy, warm, dusted in sweetness... they're the kind of treat that makes the world slow down for a moment. There is nothing on this menu that hits wrong. The service tied everything together. We were greeted by the sweetest hostess, Alina, who suggested the patio -- and she was right. Cozy heaters, comfy seating, the whole place glowing with good-vibe energy. It felt like the kind of spot you accidentally fall in love with. We'll absolutely be back.

If you are a Ventura local, a mother or have babies/kids, please do not support!…read more It was sunny afternoon around 5:30 pm. There were only 3 tables occupied when we (my 2 year old and 2 month old) got there. It took about 10-15 mins to get seated. And the big waiter that sat us did NOT have spatial awareness. He knocked my toddler over with a chair who was trying to give him space when he was seating us. She fell hard on her head. The waiter did not even flinch/look at her to see if she's okay. He simply just stepped away like nothing happened. He sat us on the tiniest first seat on the right next to the window. This space is good for one person. Not for a mom with a big baby seat carrier and a toddler. They still crammed us there. There was no shade. The sun was hitting the newborn directly on the face. It is impossible to move and assist both kids. I saw a couple who came in after us got seated to a bigger booth. They had so much room. They also got shade. By 6:00 pm, the restaurant started getting packed. They sat a table of 10. The waiter who was friends with this party if 10 took their order then came to us later. We were starving. And it took so much power to just get out of the door with a newborn and toddler. But the waiter was too busy chatting with his friends (big party table). The big table got their food and drinks. We got ours 20 mins later. By the time we were halfway done, we drank all of our waters. We were thirsty. I was trying to give an eye contact to both my waiter and the waiter that sat us. The waiter that sat us kept giving me an eye contact the whole time but never came over. He ignored me. The only time someone came over was when a waitress (not our server) gave us our check. We asked for water. The waiter that gave me that eye contact all day but never helped finally came over to give us a water refill. There are way better places in Ventura that has consistently good service and food. This place is a no go. Huge disappointment. It doesn't feel like the staff carries that Ventura vibe. Not a nice crew. Stay away.

At 9:30AM there was already a line with about 5 parties ahead of us. We only waited for about 20 minutes and we were able to sit al fresco to enjoy the sun & people watching. I ordered a Cortado with Oat milk for my espresso kick and my husband enjoyed the Tuscan Sunrise juice from the seasonal menu (fresh pineapple, orange, carrot, ginger, lemon and tumeric) that was refreshing and restoring. I loved their signature Breakfast Lasagna, which was fully stacked and hearty - layers of bacon, bechamel, prosciutto cotto, spinach, eggs, and mozzarella, all smothered in marinara and topped with a fried egg. It's more than filling and great to share with someone who ordered brunch entree on the sweet side like pancakes or Belgium waffles. My husband had the Chicken Avocado Bacon Panini with Swiss & cheddar cheeses, butter lettuce, garlic aioli and caramelized onions. He asked to omit the roma tomatoes. I had a bite and it was yummy...great for a lunchy entree. We finished the meal with another season menu item, the Pistachio Ricotta Cake. I could have ordered two...not to share, just for me. It was really good and I hope they keep it to their standard menu. The service was at a slower pace, but the server did check on us periodically. Once your seat is ready, you order at the counter and you get a number. The staff that took our order was awesome. Friendly, warm, high energy, and efficient. Our order came out in about 10-15 min. Water is self serve. Drip coffee- perfect and high quality. It tasted like Kona coffee! Lavender matcha- great and well balanced Japanese milk bread- this fell a tad short for me. I would've liked both sides to be seasoned/flavored. Japanese Milk bread is typically moist and fluffy , however this was a little dry likely due to the toasting of the bread. The color overall was lighter than expected. It's served with a berry sauce which is really yummy. Side of smashed potatoes- really good. Perfectly seasoned and ketchup tasted homemade Aussie meat pie- soooooo delicious! The crust was awesome and the meat was tender. We also loved the side salad because it had a little zing of lemon. A rare moment where a side salad is actually fantastic! Miso chicken katsu Sando- really loved this! The chicken breast is huge. As other reviews stated, it's not a typical chicken katsu. If you like honey, you'll like this. The honey sauce hits you on the front end and ends with a little acidity from the aioli and slaw. The sandwich was super juicy and flavorful. While large, it didn't feel heavy. Each bite got better and better. Brontë bowl - OUR FAVORITE!!!! Ok first off, I hate mushrooms with a passion, but I kept them in the order because they are curried and I knew theyre an essential part of the dish. They were awesome. I didn't mind them one bit. This dish does not need salmon, and if anything I think adding it would've been too salty. I naturally eat fast but this bowl makes you slow down because of the layers/elements. The sweetness of onions, the creaminess of the feta and avocado, the crunch from the seeds, the delicious pesto, the buttered bread, the perfectly poached eggs - UGH! So perfect! Everything had a purpose. I am obsessed with this bowl. It is so much more filling than you'd think. I could eat this everyday and I hope they never change it. Ambiance was great. We sat at the bar which felt spacious. The inside is gorgeous and just puts you in a good mood. The best thing about this place is the staff. Literally every single person we interacted with was amazing! Everyone here is friendly, warm, and just looks happy to be there. I can't wait to return!!!!!
