Service was great, food was AH-mazing! Can't wait to go back. High tables aren't for short legs best to wait for a lower table. The restaurant is a little tight but it's got a fun vibe. The drinks look amazing.

The food is amazing. Fresh ingredients. I've had Chorizo and Eggs, Blueberry Lemon Pancakes & their Hash browns. So good. Staff is so friendly, the water glass is always filled. any special requests are made easily. The room is busy but it works well, the area is open and welcoming. They have beer & cocktails.

This review is long overdue since I've been to Two Trees a couple of times now. It's a nice restaurant with plenty of decent food options that can satisfy everyone's craving. Love their outdoor patio; it's perfectly spacious for my toddler's high chair without bugging the next table over. On our recent visit, we tried a variety of dishes. All were pretty good and enjoyed by everyone. I love their French fries and fried zucchini. They're always crispy and fresh. Two Trees also has my favorite michelada I've tried in VTA. They have great happy hour so don't miss out on that. Service has always been great! Very attentive and friendly. Restaurant is in a shopping center so there's always plenty of parking.

The wait wasn't too long for a Saturday. We were seated fairly quickly. Some of the tables in the middle felt like it was very tight quarters but we could still have our conversations. The specials almost had me, that strawberry old fashioned was tempting but my sister said the michelada was the way to go. Frozen goblet glasses rimmed with tangy flavor. This was my first michelada experience and this was a great place for it. The beignets are cute and tiny and full of flavor with the dusting of cinnamon sugar. Perfect for sharing. All of our food was perfectly portioned and full of flavor. Great service! Great food! A really GREAT brunch spot!

We got seated promptly, the place was packed people chatting, football game was playing. We were helped with our drinks right away. Then we ordered our meal it took about 10 minutes to arrive with our meal. No bad at all understanding it was busy. Waiter was name David good guy! We gave him a 9 of 10 for his service. Great sense of humor. A little out of our area but diffently we'll be back. Food was great and drinks too.

Best restaurant in town, great service, food and overall experience. Monday is happy hour from 3 pm to close. Jr. has been amazing, every time we've been here, does he ever stop working?!

We've have been trying to visit new places and I found this one on Instagram. We went for lunch. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The menu has lots of choices and our choices were delicious, especially the French fries. I ordered the cider and it was tasty and refreshing. Our server was so kind and took the time to talk with us.

First time trying there bkfst and I gota say it is delicious and will recommend people to try it out for the first time. Only downside is it's small inside and also have an outdoor sitting but medium size. Only complaint I have but overall good was not disappointing

New and improved interior. It's nice and bright. Clean looking. They cut down the wall separating the two rooms, it looks nice. I came early Thursday morning. Unfortunately they just seat 18 high school students from a cross country team. Very well behaved teens. We can all be very proud of them! I gave only 4 star today not because of the taste of the food (it was excellent) but because it arrived ice cold. They were busy with the other table and I wasn't able to let them know. The entire restaurant was freezing cold. This isn't unusual for a misty Ventura day, but no effort was made to warm it up. Overall, a really good breakfast, locally owned restaurant. Food is consistently good. Service can be spotty, but I think we need to give them a pass for today.

This was my first time here very cute place. We were waiting for 15 minutes to be seated. We placed our order. We were a party of four. My husband order the Chilaquiles with Chicharron , so good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, eggs, and hash browns. My friends also ordered their plates. We ordered a couple of Michelada's. Very tasty our waiter was David. Very nice man very pleasant happy funny and very attentive. All in all everything was fun Tasty and pleasant ! I highly recommend this little spot and I hope you all get David. He did a wonderful job.

Great breakfast spot. We had boot their mimosas. Today we specifically came for happy hr. Pass on the Margarita and get the strawberry basil martini it's delicious. Chicken nachos were good, just lacked a little flavor. My husband loved the blackened salmon taco. Calamari was good and my toddler loved the chicken strips.

    Bottomless Mimosas!

This is my favorite spot in Ventura! A local favorite as well!! Great food. Great ambiance! Enjoy their new bar next door too! Service is friendly and quick! New, they now serve bottomless mimosas! Come early or plan to wait, this spot is hot on the weekends, there is always a line!

I was sad to see that you are closed. Will you be re-opening?

Yes we will, we had some smoke damage from a fire a couple storefronts down from us, we are hoping to re open in 2 weeks

How badly was the restaurant affected by the fire next door? Any updates on the situation? Lots of people in the community love this restaurant.

I just went Friday the 22 still closed from fire I guess. I thought they were going to open Tuesday. Disappointed!

Do they serve breakfast all day?

Breakfast all day Mon-Thurs. Fri, Sat & Sun till 3.

When days do they have bottomless mimosas?

Hello, We don’t have bottomless mimosas, our ABC license does not allow it. Cheers

But this spot completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered delivery, and even then, everything arrived fresh, well-packaged, and still absolutely delicious--which says a lot. The food was incredibly flavorful without being heavy or greasy (something that's hard to find). You could really taste the freshness in the ingredients, and every dish felt well-balanced and thoughtfully made. This is one of those places you don't necessarily expect to be that good, and then it totally delivers. We'll definitely be ordering again next time we're in Ventura!

For me, one of the best indicators that the food is going to be amazing is when there are dish photos on the menu. That alone sets the tone. The fresh salsa bar is a standout, and yes, they have Mexican Coke and cervezas. On weekends, don't miss the white pozole with crunchy rolled taquitos filled with ricotta-style queso and all the fresh fixings. Add that chili oil and thank me later. I also love their tacos, especially the veggie ones. I'm not vegetarian, but they're that good. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. Clean, bright, and no-frills in the best way. It feels like a true neighborhood taquería where you can come as you are, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal. I recently learned this is their first location, which makes it even better. It's family-owned, now with four locations across Santa Barbara, Oxnard, and Ventura County, yet it still feels grounded and local. You can dine in, take out, or order delivery. The place is spotless, service is quick, and the staff is genuinely kind. A solid go-to for quality Mexican food that hits every time.

I've eaten at 3 of their locations, and perhaps this location may be slightly more geared to 'gringo' tastes. I had their breakfast burrito, and unlike most other tacquerias, they give you a lot of nice melted cheese. The beans didn't taste as salty or flavorful as some other taco places. But overall, very satisfying, just didn't have that fully tacqueria taste. I have really enjoyed their veggie Papas and rajas tacos at the Avenue location. This may be the best tacqueria for vegetarians, more options. Staff here tends to be younger (college ages), and generally very friendly. I actually sometimes just stop in for their Horchata. It's not homemade (as that is a very difficult drink to make!) but I find it satisfying. In general all the prices here are reasonable, less than some other places that are charging 15-17 for burritos. This is a strong recommendation if you are downtown and craving casual Mexican eats!
