This also in the context of the restaurant not being very busy where you might forgive a server who is neglectful due to other tables. The omelet is made with 4 eggs and prepared thin-style (skinny omelet) and included sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and spinach. Cheddar is the standard but they will substitute cheeses. The home style home fries were beautifully fried and had onions and bell peppers with cheese melted on top (+$3 up-charge). The two pancakes I upgraded toast from (+2) were really good. This meal will be at least 3 meals for me. My grandson really wanted a waffle and unfortunately they don't offer waffles on the kids menu. He loved his waffle and I've got to say it looked amazing! The kids menu is well-priced, including the beverages with kids milk offered for just $1.99. Coffee came in a lovely tall coffee mug and it was pretty good. Eggs were cold by then, and more over easy than over medium... hash browns were not crispy and only one side of them were golden brown. The chicken fried steak? Pretty sure it was from pre-breaded frozen, and it was not crispy... just mushy. Gravy tasted like it was out of a can too. The garlic bread (ordered instead of biscuit) was good, at least.
