The hallmark of a good breakfast diner is the ability to poach eggs to perfection. That, I think, also coupled with service staff who will check in to see how your meal is and if you need anything else. Unfortunately, my first visit today will likely be my last as the eggs I ordered were very poorly poached and the server failed to stop back to check on the quality of the breakfast or if we needed anything else. Even when presenting us with our check, did not ask how everything was particularly when it was obvious that the eggs were uneaten. This also in the context of the restaurant not being very busy where you might forgive a server who is neglectful due to other tables. I'm sure the quality and service is normally fine as I see other reviews saying so, but as a first impression my experience was very disappointing. read more

I will keep this brief and to the point: - we had to request that the table gets washed off after they bussed the table - they never changed their gloves from serving food, initiating payment.and pushed for getting a tip/gratuity - food was cold - lumpy hollandaise sauce - English muffin was black and burnt - eggs were overcooked, spongy and tasteless Needless to say, we will never go back and will warn our family and friends about our experience. read more

Food was very good. Great person size. Biscuits are just right. Perfect hash browns. Eggs cooked just right also. Only complaint is food could have been warmer. Otherwise excellent. Service was awesome. Place has an old 80's feel. read more

We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, which wasn't terrible, but the overall experience only went downhill from there. We had actually tried calling the week before to ask a few questions, but when we arrived, we were told their phone hasn't been working for years. It would be nice if that information was updated somewhere instead of leaving customers unable to reach the restaurant. Another disappointment was finding out they no longer serve or sell their freezer jam. Their website still shows it, and it was honestly one of the main reasons we decided to come back. Finding out after we arrived was frustrating. The service was also lacking. Our waitress never checked on us, and we had to flag her down three to four times just to get coffee refills. It felt like we were forgotten. Unfortunately, the food just isn't what it used to be. Between the outdated website, poor service, and the noticeable decline in food quality, we won't be returning. read more

Another excellent chicken fried steak with over easy eggs and tators. Two thumbs up for our server today she did excellent.

Server was not interested in helping, rolled eyes continuously. Food was mediocre at best. Service was not even poor.

Consistent breakfast food and service is always pretty good. The portions are a perfect size and I'm never under or overwhelmed when the food arrives. If you get there and it's remotely busy the lobby is non existent, so you are either awkwardly bunched up next to someone or outside. If you are looking for a good basic breakfast option with some good seasonal specials, try it out. read more

It's a fantastic place with a hometown diner flair! The customer service was excellent. Despite the busy atmosphere, servers often stopped by to see if we needed anything and kept my coffee topped up! The food arrived a little later than I'm used to, but not a big deal! The breakfast chorizo taco & French toast combo was stuffed and filling! Overall, it was a great experience!! I hope to be back here again someday soon! read more

Excellent service and great food. I hadn't read the reviews here before I went and ordered from their special any 3 items for $13. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, pancakes, and a cinnamon roll. My sister ordered the same except selected the potato pancake. The waiter first brought the eggs and pancakes and we started eating. Scrambled eggs were good and both loved the pancakes! Our mom made potato pancakes for us and after a taste of my sisters I agreed these were great. The waiter then came out with two huge family size cinnamon rolls! These were delicious but we both needed take out boxes! read more

I stopped in here to get some cinnamon rolls to go on my way home from my daily 7-mile walk (the irony of this is not lost on me). Service was prompt and friendly, and I was in and out of there in under five minutes, complete with a paper-handled to-go bag that weighed a LOT more than I'd have expected for two cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls are HUGE, like small dinner plate sized. There were also two tubs of frosting provided for each. I should have ordered one, and I'll know better for next time. One is big enough for two people. Based on the size, they're quite a bargain. Overall, the cinnamon rolls are quite good. They're not the elusive, AMAZING rolls like one can get in bakeries in NY, but they're definitely better than most. One off-putting item was the completely empty "Retail" shelf, safe for a couple of bins of crayons and a dirty rag. The establishment was at capacity on my visit, and the portion sized looked to be on the overly large side, and it smelled quite good. Patrons seemed to be happy. I'll stop in at some point for breakfast or lunch based on how good the cinnamon rolls were. read more

If I can give it less stars, I would. We waited a half an hour for our food. To only be told they lost the ticket ( is what the waitress told us )after watching everybody get their food around us after we had ordered.. The service is horrible. The waiter /waitress never came back to the table to ask us how we're doing, if we needed anything. I've had to get up from the table every time I needed something and asked them for it. .The food is nothing to write home about. The sausage, gravy and biscuit. My husband got, the biscuits were rock hard. There was very little gravy on them and flavorless watered down gravy.. I asked for gluten-free pancakes sugar-free syrup and for my food to be completely sugar-free. It comes to me a half an hour later with powdered sugar all over it .so I had to send it back and wait another 20 minutes just to get my food. normally it's a three strike and we never go back, but this is definitely a one strike ,a one and done read more

It might of been an "off" day for this restaurant but we could not believe the place only had 2 waitresses working during breakfast hours! Those poor ladies were working as fast as they could; taking orders, delivering food & cleaning tables! They needed more help!! We had to wait awhile to get our food & on top of that, my husband got the wrong order. We didn't say anything because the poor waitress seemed frazzled. Kitchen Table is good but on the day we were there, they needed more staff! read more

Came on a Saturday morning, admittedly it was busy but the staff was extremely slow and disorganized. We sat down at around 10 but did not receive our food until around 11:30. We were never checked on, the food was incredibly mediocre. I don't expect much from a chain diner in terms of quality but I at least expect quick service because the food served is not complicated or hard to prepare. There was at least 4 or 5 staff members on the floor at all times so there was no reason it should have been that slow and taken an hour and a half to be served our food even if it was a busy morning. read more

Food always good, great service and moderate pricing. Bright atmosphere, clean, and fast ticket times.

Really good breakfast and large portions! Good prices for the amount of food that you get. Very friendly staff!

Ordered two eggs over medium. The whites of the eggs were under cooked. Waitress took those eggs and brought back two more eggs , still under cooked . Waitress said she has no way of communicating with the cook , she doesn't speak Spanish... I'm never GOING BACK... read more

I come here semi often and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly. There is a good amount of room with lots of tables. The food was good. The portions were good. The service was awful. Thirty minutes to get a chicken fried steak and eggs. Twelve minutes after that, the English muffin arrived. The server dropped the bill on the table while we were all still eating. I am impressed by when the service got fast. Myself and two others came for breakfast, service was friendly yet lacking. We ran out of napkins and water, I had to get up to go find napkins and ask for water. Restaurant appeared to be at half capacity with many open tables. Food wasn't bad I'd say "average" perhaps even forgettable. I'd probably come back out of convenience but not because food or service is/was unique. Reminds me of what you'd expect at sherries or Elmer's read more

After reading great reviews; it was a must to try out! The service is great! Coffee is fresh and warm; nice selection of flavored creamer. The food was good. Yes I do recommend this restaurant for a decent breakfast! read more

Kitchen table is your average breakfast joint. You can except to see everything you'd imagine at an American breakfast restaurant here except for oatmeal. My family enjoyed there meals but many of us ordered the Benedict and there was a big inconsistency with the yolk texture. I don't typically get picky about things being over cooked but this is one of those things where the runny yolk is kind of why you get this dish. Aside from the this place is good for large groups! read more

Sunday after church, I ordered fish and chips with onion rings and a cup of chili. nearly an hour later, meal delivered to table, I broke a piece of fish open to find water dripping out of the panko batter, inside of the batter was wet. all three pieces were the same. Fish was translucent or uncooked. Onion rings were burnt and tasted foul. Cup of chili was cold. I set the plate aside and told the waitress not to fuss with it, but she insisted on taking the meal off my ticket. My spouse received fish sandwich and pancake, all acceptable. The waitress said it was a bad day and to catch her on a better day. "We are better than this." I did not hold her responsible, obviously the kitchen has issues. And I was still hungry. I am just so tired of this kind of poor-quality meals and having to pay $16.00 or more per plate. (except for this time). The waitress handled the situation perfectly. It doesn't make up for the fact that I came in for lunch and left hungry. Nothing leaves a worse taste in your mouth when you leave a restaurant still hungry. Right??? I'm done. Get it together restaurant industry. P,S. these places have absolutely NO ambiance, just cafeteria atmosphere. read more

Ate at this establishment on a Saturday morning around 11 a.m. It's a pretty busy restaurant but it appears that traffic moves from door to table pretty quick. First off, a customer should never stand waiting for a order for over half an hour before receiving the item they ordered online ahead of the time they arrived to pick it up only to be expected to leave a tip, then take the food home and eat it when it has quite literally gotten cold ( which means that the food ordered had at some point been sitting in the proverbial " danger zone as it fell outside of the temperature range recommended by the health department. The manager was not available to help with this matter and was most likely busy counting the money collected from customers that were cheated by this poor excuse for a customer service manager my family will no longer spend our hard earned money keeping these people in business hopefully they will be able to get staff that understands the importance of providing good customer service and good food prepared properly and is offered at a fair price without expecting to receive exhorbitant prices Another great establishment ruined by bad customer service! read more

We have been here a couple of times now and it's quickly become our favorite. They offer your typical diner fare. The food is fresh, the portions are large. We had to wait for a table the second time we went, not too much of a surprise, they are pretty busy. There is no place there to wait however they take your phone # and call you when your table is ready which worked well. Service is pretty good for such a busy place. read more

Let me start by saying we won't be back to this Kitchen Table location. Had breakfast with friend, 4 of us total in the party. Most of the food was cold when it arrived. Employees were literally standing around the counting chatting for 10 minutes after we'd asked for coffee refills. Service overall was not great. Food was not great. Not cool that the waitress looks over your shoulder watching what you give for a tip or feedback. read more

Hate to drag a local restaurant but the quality of the food we've gotten here has slowly gone downhill and tapered off at bad. I got one of the worst deliveries in recent memory today. It took forever for the food to be ready for pickup so it was cold when it got to us, and then when we opened up the boxes it honestly felt like what it would look like if somebody made breakfast while they were sleepwalking. Like there were *elements* of a cohesive, hot breakfast in there but taken together you could barely call it a meal. My husband ordered red potatoes and they were raw and cold. My chorizo tacos... honest to god I don't think the meat in there was chorizo but I don't know what it was. It did not taste like chorizo. And mixed up in the meat were random soggy chopped up vegetables that weren't mentioned on the menu and that have not been present the previous times I ordered this dish. Clumped together slices of avocado, a solid brick of hash brown with no crispness or detectable salt application. Truly bad and I doubt we will order from here again. It's a real disappointment. read more

First time here, walking in it's a very clean and spacious place. Met immediately by Juan who was friendly and very genuine. Kanyka was our server. When asked about recommendations she was quick to provide. She was very friendly, attentive and overall a fantastic server. We had the corned beef the best corned beef I have had in a long time.
